I'm
going
to
write
this
in
English
for
those
expecting
mothers
who
might
be
considering
giving
birth
here
but
whose
native
language
is
not
German.
My
first
language
is
English
and
I'm
still
very
much
learning
German
and
I
will
admit
that
I
was
nervous
to
give
birth
in
a
country
where
I
might
not
understand
what
is
going
on
around
me,
which
would
be
the
case
in
a
hospital
or
birth
house.
That
being
said,
I
am
so
very
thankful
that
I
didn't
let
that
stop
me
from
choosing
to
give
birth
here.
I
cannot
recommend
this
birth
house
enough!
Despite
being
away
from
"home"
in
a
new
land,
I
felt
so
very
much
at
home
here.
The
language
wasn't
a
problem
at
all.
The
midwives
are
excellent.
Warm
and
professional.
Thanks
to
their
care
and
the
environment
they
set
up,
I
was
totally
able
to
relax
and,
dare
I
say,
enjoy
the
birth.
It
was
an
extremely
empowering
experience.
And
the
Wochenbett
care
was
excellent
too.
I
feel
that
I
recovered
so
much
quicker
after
this
birth
than
my
first
and
I
credit
that
to
the
care
given
during
my
stay
there.
The
food
is
excellent,
the
midwives
are
so
helpful
and
knowledgable
and
there
for
you
24/7
and
all
that
the
mother
is
left
to
do
is
rest,
snuggle
her
baby
and
rest
some
more.
If
you
are
considering
a
natural
birth
or
even
just
the
Wochenbett,
I
would
highly
recommend
you
look
into
their
care.
