Great restaurant with quality food and nice staff

We celebrated a Family Birthday at Café Berra last week! A wonderful meal was had by all. Thank you for making our visit such a memorable one! The meal was exquisite and of exceptional quality. The service professional and friendly. We left our table feeling very satisfied. What a shame to hear that the restaurant will be closing for retirement at the end of December...but certainly a merited retirement, as in our opinion the Chef has outdone himself. We advise all to make a reservation rapidly as this is a table to be cherished!

A dinner to die for! Starting off with the service, I am pregnant and therefore have a lot of restrictions and they were happy to accommodate my needs by replacing some of the dishes with special made ones that suit my diet. Food was on another level. Ingredients were fresh and super tasty. The courses just kept coming, which explains why we stayed up to 3 hours for the dinner. Therefore definitely recommend going with another couple or a few friends. The experience is a must try!

An absolute hidden gem in the mountains. Well worth the extra effort required to secure a reservation and make the drive up. The food is utterly exquisite, easily comparable to restaurants with one or more stars. We had the "three" course menu of the day, which of course changes frequently and seasonally. I place the three in quotation marks because in actuality, we were served 6 divine dishes each more creative and delicious than the last. The service was fantastic, which unfortunately isn't necessarily automatic in many Swiss establishments. The staff were kind, attentive and responsive, including in accommodating allergies. With aperitifs, wine, drinks and coffee the three (six) course meal still set us back less than 200 CHF. Do yourselves a favor.

The restaurant is hidden on the small streets of Choëx. It is a small, charming and well decorated restaurant. The food is well balanced and it has a gastronomic touch. It is worth the experience. The wine selection from the Valais region is very fine. If you are looking for a meeting lunch or a nice vacation dinner in the Alps, go fot it!
