They have a lot of vegan donuts but you do have to go there in morning to avail all the options as they do get over by afternoon. We tried the vegan pistachios one and it was delicious. The pistachio cream was fresh and amazing. Not a big fan of those red berries but they are probably there to cut the sweetness as the whole donut could get too sweet. Highly recommend!!

Being a huge doughnut 🍩 fan, I was quite excited to see this store in Luzern. Ofcourse I visited it, but was shocked to notice there are no names of the doughnuts written and one could see various varieties until the sales guy[a youngster] walks up with absolutely no service with the smile!! Noticed him and another girl seated in the store busy on their phones...service was pathetic and this drowns one's enthusiasm! The names and kinds of doughnuts are blabbered away. Anyway, I bought nearly a dozen doughnuts. Wasn't very impressed with the peanut butter & jelly doughnut. Cannot be compared to Dunkin' Doughnuts or Crispy Cream sadly. I was disappointed with the presentation, service, and taste.

I love your donuts dear Royal Donuts Luzern, also the staff is very friendly and kind but I have to share the experience from the store in Zug: I know the concept of Royal Donuts already from Luzern so I stopped by and bought a donut for my birthday breakfast. 🤗 I asked the seller I wanted some with nutella or choco cream inside and the woman recommend me the one on the picture. The woman was very friendly I have to say on the first place… only I realized after at home on my birthday breakfast that the nutella was not inside the donut which was little sad since I love nutella and really wanted the donut with the chocolate cream or nutella inside. That is why I go to Royal Donut even if I know the higher price that I love that you guys make donuts with cremes/nutella inside not only dry donuts like in supermarkets… please be only more aware of what U sell. It is expensive stuff (almost 7 CHF for the donut!) so the seller should know about the products! ;) I will come back but I hope I can get some with nutella or cream in the future :D 5 stars is my rating for the taste even without the nutella… for the hope for the next time! For all the lovers of donuts - go there! - royal donuts make really delicious ones!!! :-)

We bought a surprise pack through Too Good To Go to try the doughnuts. The contents of the pack were excellent. The service provided by the staff was first class. Highly recommended!

I went quite late, so a lot of the choice was sold (after 5pm) however there was still plenty of choice available. I like how they have vegan options, and so much to choose from. I would advise anyone wishing to go to go soon, because this is a gimmick that I just cannot see lasting long in Luzern (though do feel free to prove me wrong.) I just don't see enough people buying doughnuts often enough to keep a place like this open for the long haul. The doughnut I had was very disappointing. I'd happily try another to check, but I wasn't impressed by the dough itself (bland, a tad greasier than even expected of fried dough) or the toppings. The chocolate filling was good. The chocolate on top was cheap and tasteless. The pieces of cake with cream sandwiched between were gross and I couldn't eat them. The cake was dry and stale and the cream was synthetic which is fine if you like that but I can't stand it myself. They also seem to do smoothies and ice cream, but being a wet November evening I didn't try them. In short, I'd try it once more, but I was far from impressed by my first doughnut from here.
