Shri Ganesh is an Indian restaurant run by Prince and helped by 3 chefs and Pravin. They are courteous and ensure to make you comfortable. Food is excellent and you get the dhaba taste. I have had vegetarian biryani which some of may scoff that there is nothing like vegetarian biryani , rather call it pulao! But let me mention that the vegetarian biryani has its unique taste and I loved it. I have had nan which are soft and delicious. The Paneer kadai had the masala tadka . Since I eat a bit spicy and if you want to add spice , ask for green chilli Chatni ! The Sabzi kurma is sweetish more like Navrathna Kurma of India. The interiors are Indian style and there is a TV which plays Hindu songs for visual impact , because on the loud speaker it is English songs. And that is because 95% of his clients are Swiss. He has a good selection of liquor and few beers. Kingfisher is available which is popular with the Swiss. If you are visiting Neuchatel, Shri Ganesh is a must visit restaurant. CoVID precautions are being maintained and you need to show CoVID pass to get a table. He has a busy parcel counter too with many ordering through Uber eats .

Nice chicken biryani , I like mango lassi more it’s refreshing , the naan was so good too, the staff Mr.pravi was so nice freindly and welcoming , the food representation so good too , it’s allowed now to eat in the terrace even it was so cold out but the beautiful tasty spices made us not feeling that at all ;)

Last time, we came to Neuchatel, we found this restaurant and we came back again! Food is really authentic and fresh! Very satisfied. :) If you are spicy food lover, you can also ask them to make more spicy. Staffs are very friendly as well. We just came by without a reservation, luckily they could make one table for us. Thanks again! We definitely come back for next visit. :)

This place is perfect for a date or family night out. The food is flavorful and the servings are worth their price. Waiters were friendly and executed quick service. Shri Ganesh is your to-go-to restaurant in Neuchâtel when you feel like eating Indian cuisine.

Decent food if you are really craving for Indian food. It does get packed in the evenings so expect some delay in getting the food. Pakoras, Samsoas, Daal, Paneer, all are tasty.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and very good food. Friendly atmosphere with cost interior, excellent for a date night or a family dine. The waiter provided excellent suggestions and let us taste test the butter chicken before ordering. Will come again for the butter chicken and cheese naan!

I ordered 2 days ago chicken tikka masala with delivery, it costed 25chf for a tiny portion with no rice etc. The next day I got violent food poisoning. Maybe someone should look up the clean standards that the food is prepared in

One of the best Indian food restaurants I've ever been to. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful. It's a smaller restaurant and isn't overly decorated, and has a more casual vibe, which I count as a plus. I will definitely go there again.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Nette Bedienung. Und das wichtigste in einem Restaurant: das Essen war sehr gut und ist jeden Franken wert. Merciiii

Vorspeise und Hauptgang (Viandolo) waren sehr gut. Schärfe kann gewählt werden. Hatte das Viandolo in Stärke 4. Sehr gut, jedoch muss man gewohnt sein scharf zu essen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Per Zufall haben wir dieses nette kleine Lokal in der Fussgängerzone entdeckt. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber fein. Das bestellte Essen war sehr lecker und der empfohlene Wein sehr gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für uns ist es sicher nicht der letzte Besuch im Shri Ganesh !!!

The curry was great, we enjoyed the taste and the quantity. They give you an extra sauce if you want it more spicy so everyone was happy. The staff was nice as well and we enjoyed eating there!

Ok I normally don't give bad reviews but I feel as if this restaurant 100% deserves it. First of all, the service was terrible. The waiter took at least 30mins to take our order because he was too busy seeing about other customers. Secondly, the curries were too sweet and lacked any sort of spice. The only saving grace were the naan breads which were ok. Now I've had my fair share of Indian food seeing that I grew up in London and I can honestly say that this is some of the worst curry I've ever had in my life. Maybe they were having an off night but that doesn't change the fact that the waiter was completely dismissive of our thoughts when we told him about the food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Fantastic dine in experience!! Great lamb karahi & eggplant pakora 💯 What I loved the most was gulab jamun ice cream. This combination is heavenly!! Price wise, it’s on the higher side but it’s Switzerland after all :)

It's a quite good restaurant. Fine taste, good and fast service, nice ambiance, reasonable price. Some curry were a little too sweet for my taste, but most of them were fine. Meats are super tender, too. We visit here from time to time :-)
