Bit out of the town, and the outside doesn't look much but inside its not too bad, decent decor and plenty of space to sit down. Was quiet for the time I was there, mid day Saturday, a few knocking around. Sat at bar, and the first positive was the beer menu.....it was massive and had a very, very good selection of beers on tap and in bottle. Top beers from Ireland, the UK, Belgium, Germany and local beers from Switzerland, and good ciders too.....Excellent selection of beers. Ordered a Guinness, as you do, and a cheese burger for something to eat. Served with a smile, and the food came quick enough. Food served quick is always a bad sign, and to be honest the burger wasn't the best, looked good but was a bit soggy and wasn't as filling as it should have been, The Guinness was not the best too, but Im not going to take marks off for that.....outside of Dublin its generally hit and miss..... I ordered a Spitfire ale and it was fine. The bar man was friendly, and I liked the effort made to turn this into a real bar.....I hope it works out for them......as that beer menu is top quality. Would love to return and sample more of their beers, especially the Gose beers, ha.

Very positively surprised by this pub. The location looks terrible from the outside in this industrial area. BUT: that’s a great authentic pub with an outstanding selection of beer including international IPA‘s. The food is also super valid. Keep up the good quality and friendly service. Thanks!

Sports pub atmosphere, noisy, with several large tvs to watch sports. But the burgers (which is supposedly their specialty) are very mediocre. I was very disappointed. After seeing a menu that is based mostly on burgers I thought they would have good burgers, but not. I asked for a cheeseburger without onion and they told me “not possible to make it without onion”,,, what the …???? The meat was very thick, dry and overcooked. The “cheddar cheese” option is some kind of liquid cheese sauce, it’s not real cheese. Food was very disappointing. Not a place to go for food. For drinks with friends, it may be ok if you want a sports pub atmosphere.

This is my favorite pub at Winterthur. It has everything you need, while you are watch a game at the TV. If you take the Bus Nr. 3 from the Winterthur Main Station to the Eishalle Station you just have a walk like two minutes. (Totally like 15 minutes) + wide range of beers (europeans and internationals) + excellent food and fair prices + big room / enough space to sit at a table + Any kind of sport events at the TV + nice decorations + clean toilettes I recommend to taste the Guinness Cake. It’s very deliciously!

Very much awesome. Great selection of beers and incredibly tasty burgers. We had some chicken wings as appetizer (just to accompany the first beer, you know) and they were made by the book. Real Irish Pub. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. When there is a football match on tv, they'll try everything to look for it and play it for you. The chicken wings on Tuesday nights are too die for! Definitely the place to be on Champions League evenings for a beer, burger and sports!
