Beautiful view from the tower. Beautiful ancient building. Walking distance from the city centre so worth a visit. I went on a cloudy day so photo does not look that nice. Can see deers from the tower.

Very easy tovreach from the river cost by following the stairs. The scenery is outstanding fromvthe top and through the windows.

Great views of the city and the Rhine! A nice experience being inside with no other people around. Should not be missed when in Schaffhaussen! Entrance is free.

This fortress-bastion is very interesting in its own way. Although inside it is very simple, without frills. But this immediately shows its ancient origin. But the most interesting thing is going up. This is not a staircase, but a whole road that goes to the roof of the bastion. The roof is flat, you can walk on it, there is a restaurant. From this roof you have a great view of the city and the Rhine. I advise you to visit.

I have been there with a friend years ago and it was a lovely view from the Munot Castle ,a nice day trip idea to walk up there ,especially in Spring or Autumn i can recommend it

Great village to explore.

The Munot is an old fortress, the only round one in Switzerland. From there you have a great view over the old town of Schaffhausen. Admission is free.

The view up here is fantastic with less crowd , makes the place so peaceful . You can see the whole old town of Schaffhausen. Do prepare to climb some flight of stairs but it is totally worth it .

If you are in the area climbing to the Munot. It's an impressive building with great views on the city and the Rhein. There is nothing in it you can just freely get in an walk around.

Magnificent fortress/castle on the north bank, that overlooks city and Rhine. It's a big tower. From the top you can see a panorama.

Beautiful view of Schaffhausen! Totally worth the climb up the stairs. The cool stone hall of the monastery also provides a nice way to avoid the heat in the summer.

We started walking up the stair. Up and up, next thing i know, we are at the top of this hill below the castle entrance. It has an amazing view. I love this castle, I have never seen one before. This is exactly the one I would like to buy for my family and live in.
