Very photogenic bridge right at the Gelmerbahn. 70m long, 70m above water, nice views, totally safe. Even if you meet a group of jumping kids there.

Beautiful little hanging bridge 70m above a small canyon. I liked it a lot! Very picturesque.

Right next to the Gelmer Funicular. Nice view of the river, waterfalls. It can get a bit shaky when a lot of people are crossing. But no need to panic! The view is well worth it.

Too scared to cross! Stunning location. The tram across the way is a bucket list item for sure.

The Handeckfall bridge was built in 2006, 70m Length, 70m Hight. It connects hotel Handeck with the bottom station of the Gelmerbahn funicular and crosses over the Handeggfall. After crossing the suspension bridge and enjoying the looks of the Handeggfall you can take the Gelmerbahn up, to lake Gelmersee. (Bridge - Free of charge)

It’s a very stable bridge so it feels very safe and comfortable to cross. The view is amazing. Beautiful spot to take pictures and enjoy hiking in the area.

A beautifully impressive suspension bridge over an equally beautiful and impressive gorge of the “Aare”, the longest river that both rises and ends entirely within Switzerland. The bridge is right beside (above) the road towards Grimselsee and Grimsel pass, so easy to build into a trip along the Grimsel road.
