A beautiful place to stay. The gite has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is very welcoming. The beds are very comfortable with a generous pillow and a fleece blanket. Showers are excellent and towels, soap, female hygiene products and hair dryer are also provided. Dinner and breakfast was a pleasure to eat and good portion sizes to refuel. Laundry service was available for only 10 euros, it was so nice to have freshly laundered clothes! This was the best place we stayed out of 7 nights staying in refuges. Thank you Silvia for being a wonderful host. Stay here and you will not be disappointed ✨️

This place really exceeded our expectations! The rooms feel very new and clean. We had a great view from our window. The couple who run the place are lovely and great at what they are doing. This was the best refuge dinner we had on our entire TMB! Highly recommend.

Gite de la fouly. Super clean and nice rooms. Private rooms available too. Best showers I have experienced in the whole 2 years tmb I’ve been through. And the best dinner we just had a couple hours ago. Magnificent and so delicious. The vibe here is so so different and love it. Will come back again. Thank you so much.

An amazing place to stay if you find yourself in La Fouly. It was a wonderful respite as we hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc, with great food and a comfortable room. The proprietor was incredibly kind and was like a mother to all of her guests. Highly recommend!

Could not speak more highly of the Gite de La Fouly. Stunning room with views, amazing meals and owners went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. You will not be disappointed.

This is my first ever google review and it is long overdue. My 17-year old twins and I hiked the TMB in June 2023 and the Gite was by and far the best stay of our entire 10 day trek. The room was extraordinary -- comfortable, clean, quiet -- with a 4-star hotel bathroom. Even better was the dinner -- another 4-star hotel experience. And even better was the guest book that got passed around after the meal, making every guest feel like family. Sylvie even sat with us for awhile, challenging our collective high school French as we talked about the U.S. and her recent travels there. She was such a warm host, making us feel like her favorite guests ever (although I suspect she treats everyone that way). This is a don't miss stay along the TMB with the only warning being that it was hard to leave! MERCI BEAUCOUP! A bientot, Sylvie.... ❤❤❤

Of the 11 nights we spent on the TMB, this was our absolute favorite place. Sylvie & Jean-François were incredible hosts. They prepared delicious home-cooked meals themselves and the rooms were simply divine. This husband and wife team do everything themselves and we were so lucky to find them. The service, lighting, showers, bedding— magical!

This was one of our favorite refuges on the TMB! It is run by a husband and wife and they really make you feel at home. Everything is clean, rooms are great, and the food is excellent.
