Our only mistake with staying at Hotel Daniela is that we didn't book for more nights! I would recommend booking direct through the hotel and not a 3rd party. We stayed here before hopping on the Glacier Express. We were picked up at the train station and dropped back off ahead of our departure for the Glacier Express. The staff was incredible - I wish I could have this same experience at every hotel we stayed at. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were comfy, and the views were breathtaking.

We booked directly with the hotel. Service was exceptional. Upgraded to a superior room, bike rentals complimentary, whole day snacks available at the restaurant. Spa facilities were great. Room was always warm and cozy. Thank you for a great holiday experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights! Staff was really friendly, and room was clean and well decorated - with view of the Matterhorn! Breakfast was good as well - with a good offering of choices. Check in and out was efficient - with hotel pick up and drop off service to Zermatt station. Hotel was also nicely located within walking distance to major sights and cable car. Lastly, the spa was great - small, intimate yet refreshing after a day at the mountains. Recommended if you are looking for a boutique hotel in Zermatt!!

I love this place. The staff is very kind and professional. The morning breakfast is one of the best I've had in my travels. They even let me use the spa after I had checked out. When I checked out they had mistaken my bill (which I had already paid online) with another. It was cleared easily and to show their appreciation for my patience they gave me a voucher for my next stay! I am so grateful to have been able to visit such a wonderful hotel.

No four star hotel here, it was definitely FIVE STARS! Literally the nicest staff ever. This was our third hotel so far on our trip and it is the best one yet! Stay in the two story suite! It is well worth it! The complimentary breakfast buffet had everything you needed, the bacon was my favorite along with the eggs, but don’t forget to get the dreamy heart shaped bread and a mimosa to start your morning off on the right foot! Also check out the fire downstairs in the early evening by the spa, it is so tranquil and relaxing!

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Daniela and had an amazing time. The rooms were quite nice and the staff was outstanding. Tanya, who worked during the mornings, was awesome. She remembered our names and joked with us as she made sure all of the guests enjoyed the breakfast that was served each morning. The staff shuttled us to and from the train station and made sure our accommodations were well taken care of. The front desk was extremely helpful in giving us tips about where to dine and how to go about the many different things to do in Zermatt. The location was also very convenient as it is pretty centrally located and it made it easy to walk to everything. A really nice little touch that the hotel had was that they provided backpacks in each of the rooms for guests to use during their stay. This was very convenient and helpful for us. If/when I go back to Zermatt, there is no reason I would need to consider staying anywhere else.

The hotel was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. The in room amenities were top quality and included in the room pricing. The breakfast, which was also included, is not to miss.. A great staff greeted us upon our arrival, and we went to their sister Hotel (Julen) shortly after for dinner... service and food was outstanding, and the menu prices are very fair for the quality and presentation made of each course... Try the dessert (Coconut Wasabi ice cream) it was our delicious... Woke up to a great view of the matterhorn and took an easy walk to the gondolas and city center... Will provide taxi service, but we chose to walk everywhere and glad we did... Make sure to post your family flag on the map in the lobby while there. Highly recommend this property! Hotel Daniela went above and beyond by allowing us to store our bags for 2 nights while we were staying in a mountain hut. Then when we returned they graciously allowed us to use the spa area to change, shower, and treated us to a cappuccino and pastry. In the middle of a tourist town, Tanya - who was working the front desk - made us feel like we were not just another revolving tourist. Very kind, helpful, and witty.
