Instead of staying in traffic before Gothard, that's an ideal place to spend time with your kids. Animals, playground, lots of other families camping here.

Fantastic campsite. Very reasonable prices for Switzerland. Restaurant has meat sourced from the farm and a farm shop. You can place an order from the bakery for delivery in the mornings. Beware if you pitch closest to the toilets, the cows and goats like to sing loudly! Lovely that you can go and pet the rabbits, goats and pigs. The campsite owner is very friendly helpful and accommodating. There are cats who will come and nosy into your tent!

We camped here for 10 days, the pitches are as level as grass can be. The situation is lovely with views of Mt Rigi and the staff are helpful. The showers and toilets are clean and of good quality. The pool was very welcome as temperatures rose above 31 degrees for us. You can also interact with the animals and in some cases go into the enclosures. The site is well located for exploring central Switzerland. Zurich is 30 mins away, Lucerne 20 mins and Interlaken is 75 mins away. All round it is a great site that we will definitely return to.

Went there in summer for a dinner on the way back from luzern to zurich. It's basically a camping site which its bar and restaurant is open to public. They have barbecue. Awesome stake and rissotto for a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Very country campground centered around family farm with animals and livestock on grounds. Very nice staff and decent prices!
