    Stunning. A must-see place in Appenzeller mountains. The landform has an intriguing geological background story. It is not that far from Fälensee or Staubern.

    A long but easy hike with incredible views, check the webcam to make sure there is no cloud coverage.

    Simply put: pictures can’t capture the magic of this place. Feels genuinely that you are not on plant earth - vertical walls of rock surrounded by grass and sunlight… a must go! Take the cable car up to the restaurant, then it’s a 1h hike on rocks, roots and grass to reach the viewpoint. You can either continue and do a loop (3-4h total) or come back. Wear appropriate shoes and equipment. Not dangerous and suitable for older children, but this is a mountain not a city park, so prepare accordingly :)
