We had an amazing time in Zermatt and at this very centrally located apartment during our ski holiday. The property is perhaps 3 mins from both train stations and 5 from the Sunegga lift. Plenty of room in the ski room and boot locker. The apartment is extraordinarily well equipped and the views from both balcony’s are outstanding. Well recommended. Summary: Good enough for budget travellers looking for a basic accommodation at great location Good: Price is relatively low. Took a gamble as this apartment is a lot cheaper than others and certainly is the cheapest among other accommodations that we have booked in other cities for our entire 15-day vacation. I would say it is a pleasant stay if you manage your own expectation. Excellent location. It's 5-min walk from Zermatt main station and there is a Denner supermarket nearby. If you prefer Coop of Migros, they are 8-min away. View is excellent. You can see Matterhorn right out of your window on a clear day. Old and small but full of characters - it offers a different experience as compared to other more modern apartments that we have booked in other cities. Not-so-good: You pay for what you get. As I mentioned before, you need to manage your expectation according to the price you pay. Comparing to other more luxurious accommodation that we have had in other cities, this one is old and really basic. Appliances are old but generally working fine. Would have been better if there was a washing machine/dryer. Minor issues such as broken bulbs which we didn't bother much but certainly unexpected. Pillows are bad. They are just some small cushions. Collection/return of keys is at a different location. It's a bit of a hassle but not a deal-breaker once you have planned your time properly.

We had a great holiday in this perfectly located apartment in Zermatt. The apartment had a very nice character, windows in the ceiling and a stunning view from the balcony - overlooking the Matterhorn. Well equipped apartment. Our hostess, Miriam, was super nice and helpful. We certainly would love to come back!

I don’t usually write reviews. However this apartment was so good I’m happy to comment. The location is great, close to the train station and the centre of town. The apartment fit out is modern and comfortable, more so than most.Communication with the owners was excellent. Thanks Mirjam for a wonderful white Christmas.

The best apartment ever! Price versus quality is really good. Location is great; apartment beautifully decorated. The view on the Matterhorn, the spaciousness of the apartment and the balcony on the Southern side are all very nice! We really can recommend this apartment in the beautiful city of Zermatt!

Great appartment and service in a perfect location. We were 3 adults and 4 kids (1 with a cotbed) and found this appartment very convenient, appreciating in particular its location exactly between the Sunnegga express and the Gornergrat train, also very practical to access to the nearby Kindergarten and the ski schools departing from the main train station. The service was great (the landlord always reachable in case of questions) and we found everything we needed in the appartment, as planned. Glad to recommend the place!

We had a very pleasant stay in the Riffelberg appartment. Ideally located close to village center and Gornergratbahn, beautiful and really fiully equiped appartment with splendid Matterhorn view. And good service from the owners as well. Top!

The apartment is amazing equipped with everything a family needs for a comfortable vacation. The apartment was clean and kept, location is great very central only a few minutes walk from the train and center. The Matterhorn view is the best in Zermatt! All communication with the host was easy and responsive. Would love to come back in the future.

We were 6 at the three-bedroom flat in Haus Granit. We were fortunate to have excellent weather and beautiful views of the Matterhorn from the lounge room. The flat is comfortable, tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. With small children it was great to be so centrally located, close to the railway station, the shops and the Sunnegga train. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed staying at Schwarzee at Haus Granit. The view is perfect and the size was perfect for my partner and I and my parents.
