    We made the two locks trip from Rheinfelden to Basel. It's a very interesting Rhine trip, for me it was very special because I don't know the Rhine that well except from Schaffhausen to Konstanz. It is very industrial, but it still has some corners where nature is pure. If you're in the area it's worth the drive. The food was really good, the staff were friendly, for dinner we had the traditional Pinsa, for me a mixture of tarte flambée and pizza. We also had a red wine, the Cuvée d'Or Rouge from Baselland. If you would like to take a trip through the locks and don't want to travel too far, this is the right place for you.

    I really enjoyed an evening trip on Rhystärn. Good food, nice conditions, great atmosphere. The beautiful weather and staying outside on the sun deck with musical entertainment obviously also contributed to this. I will definitely repeat.

    We had the Captain's Dinner on the new ship Rhystärn. It was planned to be the Christoph Merian, but like half an hour before start the machine had a defect, and they had to move all the stuff to the other ship. Still, rhey managed to give us a super nice evening, with a delicious, well presented dinner. The ship is beautiful, and the view from the river as well, even though the weather did not play along so much. The staff is super friendly, and we really had a great time. The only negative point is that if you want to be safe to be able to pay, bring along cash. We tried to pay the tickets with Reka card, and the machine did not accept it, and later for the drinks the credit card also was not working, because they have very bad reception at Dreiländereck. Though to be fair they offered us to send us the bill.

    Short cruise aboard the Rystärn between Basel and Rheinfelden with the passage of two locks. Very nice course and sufficiently spacious boat. Friendly staff and decent meal. Perch fillet fritters accompanied by fries that are way too salty. Excellent gnocchi. The route, about an hour and a half, is very pleasant. Too bad the few comments are in German only.

    Amazing boat experience! The evening trip takes about 50 mins and we enjoyed every bit of it! On top of that, apart from the really nice view experience, there is a selection of options one can get form drinks, food, etc :)

    They don't tell you how to buy riding tickets on the boat. No one comes to collect money only to find out when we were about to get off that we should have purchased tickets at the till in the bar. The guy in charge of the dining area was not friendly nor was he helpful. It was the worst boat ride I've had in Europe. I didn't realise a boat ride could be this disorganised and bad. Why don't they just sell tickets at the kiosk and take the tickets when customers are getting on board? It doesn't make sense.

    DO NOT BOOK A CRUISE. Thiefs. Booked tickets in advance for Thursday August 31st, paid 24 CHF online and was assigned tickets with QR codes. Attended the cruise but they do not check tickets until leaving the cruise. When departing the cruise they check tickets and tell you your tickets are invalid and harass you to pay despite having paid previously and showing them the tickets and receipt that were emailed. Was force's to pay 24 CHF again to exit to boat. Name on the receipt is Selena Manz. Absolutely disgusting management of cruise. Highly suggest to take the train to interlaken and do a cruise of lake thun or lake Brienz. Much more organized, polite staff, and much more beautiful.

    Nobody will answer the phone to answer my complaint Your company and staff are disgusting. To quote one of your staff members (heavy built blond haired man) "I don't care what you think" I booked the 3pm City tour and we went to the port tour. No announcement made on the boat, just went in the wrong direction. When myself and another lady questioned it, we were told it was because the boat had a big tour in the morning and the captain didn't want to go the same direction again (which is what was advertised on your website!!!) I have no issue with timetables being changed. I do have am issue with the guests not being informed and the staff having such a disgusting attitude about it . To add insult to injury, we were allowed purchase a drink 11 minutes before the boat docked and then told we had to leave our almost full and paid for drinks because they had to set up for another party coming in. After the year this country has had in relation to tourism,your staff should be going out of their way to cater to guests and provide the service advertised. I am a local to basel and will highly discourage anybody usinf your service after the disgusting attitude we received. I will be taking this further including g to basel tourism and will expect a full refund. Your company and staff should be ashamed of themselves
