What a find. For a modern city Geneva is poor for vegetarian and vegan dining but once again the local ethnic community shows the way with tasty affordable vegetarian food. Red Sea serves a limited menu of delicious Eritrean vegetarian food served with care and attention (and eaten by hand) in a clean peaceful location very near the station.

Loved this place. The food was amazing and our server / host had such amazing energy. He really made our meal so much more enjoyable because he seemed to care so genuinely. Next time in town I will definitely be back! Maybe a few times.

Very simple ambiance and very tasty food. I chose the spicy dish Ana loved it. It is a bit difficult to find the restaurant, it's on a side street rather than on the exact location indicated in the map.

OMG! If you haven't tried Eritrean food before, this is a great example of the best of it. Food was real Eritrean food, full of flavours and arômes at its best! The lady was very kind and speaks french and English. They have also Eritrean beer. I had a bit of everything! And everything was delicious.

Cosy little restaurant with great all you can eat food. The choice is great, your belly will be full and your taste buds will be delighted. Make sure to have some house tea with the meal and reservations are recommended, it gets busy.

Delicious Eritrean food served by a very nice auntie. Don't miss getting the tea pot. Some of the best non-milk based tea I've had.

Wow, just wow. My first time having Eritrean food and it was delicious! The tea afterwards went perfectly with the food. Prices are way below average and the quality is excellent. I liked the salad so much I ordered an extra bowl, and they didn’t even charge it. The service is great and they recommend dishes too. I give a 15/10 and recommend 150%.

Great food, great price with good service - buffet nights are great. A good idea to call and make a reservation for bigger groups. There is a basement area to hangout if you ate too much and cant move for a while (happened to us!)

Our noses led us to this place and it was possibly some of the best food I've had in Switzerland. Good prices, quality and quantity of food, and an incredibly friendly staff. Right next to the main Genève-Cornavin station. Apart from a good selection of 6 dishes (of which 3 are vegetarian), they have an all you can eat buffet on the evenings of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We travel from Lausanne to Geneva just for this place. Hope to keep coming back!

I was a little worried when I saw the small buffet but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor. In the traditional fashion, a flatbread is laid on a plate, then the dishes served on top. There were two meat dishes and the rest vegetarian. The food is eaten by hand, using the flatbread to scoop the food. The flavors were fantastic. I ate more than I should have but it was worth it. I thought the price, 21chf for the buffet was a good value. Don't expect much service from the staff. Serve yourself. We will definitely be back.

If you are missing Indian food while travelling, this is the closest one you can find...same as our dosa, dhals and chicken curry!
