Our guide Margot was so lovely and knowledgeable, bringing stories of chocolate and local culture to life. 3 hours flew by with stops at quite a few chocolate shops and places of interest in Geneva's beautiful Old Town you would otherwise miss if you were just walking around on your own. I'm usually not a fan of guided tours listening to someone drone on about history, but would definitely recommend this! We sampled at least 10 types of high quality chocolate, plus more 😋

10/10 the best tour of a city we have EVER been on! The tour guide Rosalia was outstanding, so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful Great information about chocolate and beer making and tasting, plus history, legend and fun stories in between. Wow!! - the different chocolate shops and wonderful chocolate tasting experiences were absolutely divine! This is a fabulous way to enjoy Geneva and the culture, and this tour group gets a serious A+++ rating from us! Thank you so much Rosalia for making it such a special day, we all loved it and will firmly recommend you to all we talk to about our experience.

Great tour! We thought it was just a chocolate but to our surprise we also got some history of Geneva! Our tour guide, Maria was the BEST! She was very kind and knowledgeable. We stopped at 5 chocolate shops and enjoyed a sample at each. One of the best tours I have taken, if you are unsure because of the cost…it is completely worth the price. Highly recommend!!

I am still dreaming of the chocolates we sampled during the Local Favours tour in Geneva! As a local resident, I would recommend this tour to all friends and family visiting and to those living in Geneva looking for something new and tasty to try. Rozalia was a lovely host, very informative and passionate about sharing local cuisine and the city of Geneva. Thank you for the tour!

Maria was our guide. We were in a group of 12 and it was a very nice afternoon. All of the chocolate shoppes were wonderful, the taxi ride across the water was enjoyable, and everyone in our group had fun. Maria was wonderful with recommendations and answered any questions we had.

Local Flavours Tours was one of the best food tours we have ever had. The chocolates were amazing, melting in your mouth. We also loved the old town visit, learning about the history of the city and discovering also its hidden corners. Our guide was so passionate and extremely friendly. We loved this Geneva chocolate tour so much. I highly recommend this tour if you want to discover Geneva in a different way!

The Chocolate tour was the best tour I’ve taken. And I usually take a tour whenever I travel. Well organized, with the right balance of chocolate, history and the insight of chocolate making. Enough chocolate provided by the tour to fill your palate. Noa our guide was amazing. Very engaging, and remembered all our names which was impressive. Ask for her by name.

WOW! What a great way to spend the time in Geneva. After having been to Geneva twice before, and not liking it, this tour changed my mind. The tour winds you through back streets and charming areas I've never found on my own. Our tour guide was Anna and her English was perfect and so easy to understand. (Unlike another tour group we passed by that we couldn't understand with their strong accent.) She told stories of the history of Geneva's important events and where chocolate links in. It's a very leisurely 3 hour tour, mostly walking, but starts with a boat ride. And we'd all had enough chocolate by the end. But this is a tour of the best chocolates you can find in Geneva...not the grocery store kind! It was Sooooo much better and the tour was well worth the price. Thank you Local Flavours for the great tour and Thank you Anna for making the history part fun too!

Hands down one of our favorite things we did while visiting Geneva and honestly one of our favorite for all of Switzerland. Margeaux was an incredible guide that walked us through history, legends, chocolate, and so much more. Her engaging personality had us excited for the next location and next story. We learned so much and tasted so many deliciously diverse chocolates. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Geneva that enjoys chocolate, history, and walking!

I could have not imagined a better experience in Geneva! A wonderful dip in a sweet paradise, but also an extremely interesting tour with many anecdotal stories and backstage about the history of the city. Special credits for this successful "recipe" should go to our awesome tour leader, Noa, who captivated us with her passion and knowledge from the first moment. Highly recommended!

The chocolate tour is a fantastic way to explore the old town of Geneva and sample some luxury chocolate along the way. We stopped at several locations around the city, and the samples varied from small individual chocolates to hot chocolate to delicious cakes. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable about the history of chocolate and the city itself. If you can't decide what walking tour to go on in Geneva, make sure it's this one!

I was so impressed with our tour. I didn’t know what to expect but it was so much fun. Lily was a fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable tour guide who gave us bits of history about Geneva and chocolate-making throughout the afternoon. She also helped us take photos at each place if we wanted. We stopped at 6 chocolate shops, did a lot of walking, and also rode a boat across the end of the lake for some lovely views, which was a nice surprise. I honestly was tired of chocolate by the end (I didn’t know that was possible!) but I was able to take home what I didn’t eat. This tour was still a lot of fun and a great way to get an intro to Geneva. I’ll also note that I’m glad we only had 6 people - she mentioned that sometimes she has a lot more including up to 17 once, and I think it wouldn’t be as nice if it were more crowded.

If you are looking for a way to orientate yourself with the city, learn some interesting history facts and legends and, taste some of best chocolatiers in the world sweet treats, then this tour is for you. Our tour guide was the lovely Regina whose charm and smile welcomes you to the group straight away. She wove tales and stories into tour as we strolled the streets of both old town and the city. She knew a lot about the history of chocolate, how it came to Switzerland and why it is so important to the life of the people of Geneva. 🍫🇨🇭❤️ Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While also a fantastically delicious tour of some of the best Swiss chocolatiers in Geneva's Old Town (and the business district just across the bridge) - it's not *just* that. The tour guide, Anna, was also a fantastic guide to some of the history and stories (real and fantastic) of the city - including the petty revenge on a Duke and how a pot of vegetable soup saved the city. We had many samples of chocolates, including truffles, pastries, bars, and delicious cocoa. We also learned a lot about how chocolate is made and the various sources and kinds of chocolate. A lot of cool information and a lot of delicious sweets!

There was a group of 3 of us that did this tour and Regina was AMAZING! She was kind, informative, and made the 3 hour tour of chocolate throughout Geneva "sweet"! Ate some of the best chocolate I have ever had in my entire life, 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Geneva.

We took this tour during our first visit to Geneva. I chose it as a part of a birthday present for my partner, so my expectations -I must admit- were quite high! I am happy to say that they have been totally fulfilled! We both enjoyed those 3 hours very much! Margo, our guide, was very nice and well prepared. She involved us in a full experience of the city, in a pleasant mix of wonderful chocolate and sweets tasting, walks and sightseeing accompanied by stories, legends and anecdotes. My partner was incredibly happy of the surprise and the experience, we would definitely recommend it!

If you are in Geneva, this tour is an absolute must! Even if you don't enjoy chocolate, this tour provides SO much fun information about the city that it's worth it! You get to walk through and learn about all prime touristy spots of Geneva. Our tour guide, Noah, was so upbeat, funny, and knowledgeable. Three hours passed by very fast and the tour made us fall in love with Geneva. Oh, and if you are a chocolate fan, you will taste the best chocolates in town and learn all about it.

Absolutely loved this experience! Margot was a wonderful guide! The tour was full of history and interesting anecdotes, in addition to amazing chocolate. They're very accommodating of allergies. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking to learn more about Geneva and the history of chocolate. It was a fascinating, delicious and fun tour!

We had a lovely time! My sisters and I loved the tour. It was a great blend of chocolate, history, culture, and enjoying the outdoors. Noa was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. I will certainly be bringing relatives who visit me back for this tour. Thank you, Noa!

Delicious, informative, and fun! Margot was an excellent guide - had a lot of knowledge, made sincere efforts to connect with every guest, and was very upbeat and fun. Walking around the city with her gave me some really interesting historical tidbits I wouldn't have otherwise known, and she made it fun. Loved every single stop on the chocolate tour as well - each one was unique and delicious. Margot even gave several of us recommendations for dinner and other things after the tour. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Geneva!

Had a great time on this tour! It was a great way to learn both about chocolate and about Geneva. Our guide Ceci was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny - we really enjoyed learning from her. It was a fantastic introduction to the range of master chocolatiers and we knew exactly where we wanted to visit again after getting to sample their creations. If you enjoy chocolate, I’d highly recommend this tour!

The tour was honestly amazing.. the chocolate stops were extremely well thought out and selected and gave us a variety to try. The HISTORY part of the tour was just as good as the chocolate! Full of tons of little facts I didn’t know and probably would not have known had it not been for the tour. Tour guide was great, engaged with everyone. Was an overall great experience and a GREAT way to learn about Geneva

My husband and I had a great experience doing this walking tour. It is a must when you first get to Geneva. It helped us know how to navigate the city, and learned some interesting history. And of course the chocolate shops we went to were amazing. It was nice buying local chocolate. Violet, our tour guide, was amazing.

I have toured with Local Flavours twice - once while chaperoning a school group (students aged 14+) and another time with friends (all adults). Both times I have had so much fun walking around Geneva with some friendly, engaging guides and have enjoyed some of the best chocolate I have ever tasted. The tours are well paced and give a great history of chocolate, as well as some interesting history of the city of Geneva. You see a lot of lovely spots and have fun tasting your way through the city. Highly recommend this tour and this company!

This tour was awesome. Noa lead us through Geneva and showed us the best chocolate highlights . We were able to try various delicious treats and learned about the history of Geneva including the „ Fête de l’Escalade“. My wife was totally happy about a surprise birthday song. We highly recommend the tour and want to say thank you again for the surprise at the end of the tour!

Noah is a great tour guide. She has a lot of history of chocolate as well as the city. She makes sure everyone is included and is having fun. Highly recommend, plus of course the chocolate is delicious.

Our tour consisted of a small group of 14 people, ages 6 through 68. Our guide, Adriana, was so knowledgeable about the chocolate, landmarks and history - and thoughtful. It is not constant walking - you take a ferry ride across the river and you stop in gardens/shops/ town squares to sit and taste the chocolates. I was the 68 yo and was worried that I could not keep up, but the tour is paced so I had no trouble. Truly a wonderful and educational experience in Geneva.

A great morning exploring Geneva with a wonderfully curated set of chocolate tastings. Lily provided history of the Geneva and entertaining anecdotes about the intertwining of the history of chocolate with that of the city. A great start to my visit.
