I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel both before it became a Ritz-Carlton and after. It's nice that it's part of the Bonvoy program as I can use my points and take advantage of some of the membership perks. The hotel itself is in a prime location on the lake with incredible views of the waterfront and fountain, and easy walking to shopping and dining. Cross the bridge and you're in 5 star shopping, dining, and name brands, but go the other direction and you'll find lots of small shops, bars, and ethnic dining. You'll want to keep your wits about you and be aware in that area at night, as many will warn you. The staff is incredibly responsive and friendly as you'd expect. They took care of any requests we had, including providing a late night fruit snack, and we had a nice upgrade to the room. Valet parking, daily maid service, bellhops, concierge, and all the other staff were on hand which isn't always the case as we exit COVID restrictions. They were able to quickly recommend a local restaurant, make reservations, and provide directions late in the evening when many places were closing. They made sure we had complimentary umbrellas for the short walk as it was starting to rain a bit. Top notch service and response. The room was incredible. The hotel has old world elegance with modern amenities. However we're still getting used to the trend of clear walls separating the bathroom from the bedroom that we've seen in many places. The beds are incredibly comfortable and we had sweeping views from the balcony overlooking the lake. Noise and light weren't issues at all and we slept very well. While not inexpensive, this hotel delivers on everything you'd expect and is a fantastic place from which to explore Geneva and the area.

We were here at a wedding, the hosts used both banquet rooms "rive gauche" & "rive droite". The staff was kind and helpful. The facility was neat and the food was great. We would definitely recommend the banquet rooms here for small indoor event.

Alexis from the reception is EXCEPTIONAL! He went on extra miles to make my friend’s stay comfortable despite of being unable to speak foreign language. Alexis made sure the extra requests like massage (as the hotel does not have in-house spa) and courier pickup as smooth as possible. Wonderful guy!

The hotel was very nice. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the rooms were incredible. They had(at least for my room) a lot of space in the room and the bathrooms were very nice. My only issue is that the doors were having issues closing properly and the gym could be improved. Other than that it is a great place to stay during vacation.

Beautiful hotel and an amazing suite facing the lake with unobstructed view! Fabien made our stay even more memorable for our special anniversary. He made us feel apart of the Ritz family. Highly recommend the hotel and will be back to visit again soon. Thank you for everything Fabien.

Went to visit and it was something different from other Ritz Carlton hotels. In a good was of course. They have artwork from Audemars Piguet. They have nice places to sit and relax and I definitely recommend the tap water. I felt like the monk who discovered Dom Perignon.

Excellent service. The check in staff Alex upgraded our room to a suite because our original room was still cleaning (I arrived early). Very friendly and professional staff

Stayed 1 night at this beautiful hotel. Perfect location, service was good. I was surprise that the staffs remember my name. The bed was so comfy, the best bed ever 😅

Traveling with young children can be challenging, but we received such excellent service and kindness during a recent stay at the Hotel de la Paix that it made our trip a breeze. Each team member we encountered, from advance communication with concierge, to a warm and helpful welcome at reception, to the entire dining, housekeeping, and bell staffs treated our family with graciousness and care. Especially notable were Alexis, Heni, and Fabian's many efforts going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for an excellent stay. Our little ones are still carrying around the sweet lion toys they received as gifts from the team. Needless to say, we hope to return for a future stay as soon as we can.

A very small hotel entrance find it difficult to park the car. A 5 star hotel like Ritz suppose to have a better entrance. The suit is poorly organized as the shower and sink is in different room as the toilet. Overall, old building hoped for a better experience.

We had a great stay! Concierge is amazing and very helpful. The property is a little outdated and very small for The Ritz name. Since the building is very old. Everything makes weird noise including the floors. We are In a lower floor but requested a higher floor due to noise. And they all help us and apologize for inconvenience.

Location (5/5): The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Nestled in the heart of Geneva, it offers breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and convenient access to the city's main attractions. Whether you're a leisure traveler or in town for business, the prime location of The Ritz-Carlton is a definite plus. Rooms (4/5): The rooms are tastefully decorated and exude an air of sophistication. Comfortable beds, luxurious amenities. Food (5/5): The dining experience at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix is nothing short of exquisite. Team (5/5): The hotel staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their professionalism and commitment to service truly stood out and added to the overall positive impression of the hotel. Lifetime Platinum Elite Member Experience (1/5): Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was dampened by the disappointing treatment I received as a Lifetime Platinum Elite member. Despite my status, certain benefits were not honored, which was a letdown.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had some issues with housekeeping, however they were resolved and staff handled the issues carefully and made sure we were happy and satisfied. They were extra generous and gave us gifts which made us leave with a smile. Worth the stay, excellent location and a lovely view.

My favorite hotel in all of Switzerland! Luxury at its finest from every single aspect, the rooms are spacious and the service is absolute perfection! The attention to detail and care given to us from the entire staff is superb from the second we step foot into the hotel to check in to the second we exit after checking out. I’ve been visiting Geneva every few years since my childhood and my family and I can’t seem to choose another hotel besides the Hotel de la Paix!

Perfect location for a visit to Geneva. The hotel delivers on luxury. Price might be another issue and subjective. Excellent staff who take care of your all your needs and are extremely helpful. Great experience.

Stayed for 3 days for a business trip with colleagues. All I can say is that the hotel lived up to its reputation, a fantastic stay, with extremely helpful and friendly staff! Can't see why I would choose another hotel next time in Geneva.

Great hotel location. Room was modern, very clean and spacious. Bed- most important thing- was soft and so lovely to sleep in. The room service was generous with water and kept many complimentary bottles. For breakfast their french toast was a french toast I will never forget (and I don't even eat carbs for breakfast but this was worth it) All in all, a great choice for staying in Geneva.

I have been to this hotel many times but unfortunately after they changed from de la Paix to the ritz something went wrong. 1- The staff are nice but not like when it was de la Paix they are like robots guided by roles. it doesn't matter if you are old or new customer, they can't do anything out of the book. 2- The towels and robes are consumed see the attached photo. But still, it is a nice hotel excellent location beautiful view to lake .

I can not speak highly enough about our time at the Ritz Carlton Geneva. The hotel is beautiful, extremely comfortable and in an excellent location (just minutes to old town and right on the water). However, what truly made the stay so exceptional was the staff. I am not sure if we have ever encountered kinder, more gracious hotel staff. Alexis from concierge went so above and beyond with recommendations, reservations and just the overall time he spent with us. We had some of our favorite meals and experiences of the trip thanks to him. He even included recommendations on the way to our next stop Lucerne that were out of this world. Louis was incredibly kind and professional during our check in process. Beatrice in the restaurant/bar Fiske was also so kind, knowledgeable and attentive. We were just blown away by this wonderful hotel and equally wonderful staff! Thank you for an incredible few days in Geneva. We can’t wait to return and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Geneva and had a full 5 star experience from the moment I entered the hotel. First of all, the staff is fantastic : extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I was blown away when I stepped inside my room : a lovely view on the lake Geneva and the famous Jet d’eau, very comfy bed and large space. We had a wonderful time at the Living Room kitchen & bar : it’s the restaurant located inside the hotel : very delicious food in a warm atmosphere. If you’re passing by Geneva, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, will be back!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had the most wonderful experience, the rooms are amazing with balcony’s facing Lake Geneva. Our suite had every amenity you can ask for, housekeepers do an excellent job and every detail is taken care off to perfection. I must mention our concierge specifically, Ms. Klementina, she was AMAZING, extremely helpful, super caring and pointed us to everything we must do when we’re in Geneva. She arranged our tours, an extremely memorable chocolate making experience and a very knowledgeable local tour guide who walked us around the old city showing and explaining Geneva’s history to us. Klementina made our entire trip one we will never forget, we are thankful she was there to help us and can’t thank her enough for being so kind and taking so much of time in making sure we enjoyed our time there. She’s a rockstar and the hotel certainly is lucky having her there! Everyone at the reception is just as ready and willing to help guest, we had an excellent stay here and will whole heartedly recommend the Ritz Geneva to anyone planning a visit to the city. The location and the superb employees make this an easy choice!

Two times visiting the Living Room Bar and Kitchen, the first one was for a birthday brunch in March, the second was for a casual lunch with my boyfriend. Both of the time were fantastic experiences! Charlotte and Lenka are always super sweet, super careful and are always giving a fantastic service. Certainly we waited a bit between the plates, but for the first experience it was a brunch so nothing to be afraid of, we are supposed to take our time! And the second one was not that long, we were not in a hurry anyway, but they were so kind and were apologizing for the delay anyway! We'd love to come back again and again, it is a great address in Geneva and not that expensive compared to other restaurants in the city.

Really clean and good hotel! Staff was so friendly ! Thank you all for our stay. Stayed there only for one night in June and we were really happy. Gym room was clean. Our room was also really clean and the staff made sure we have everything we need. Also good location we reached the Center within 15 min walk and the staff also showed us many places to visit.

Completely disgusted by the Ritz of Geneva. The bottom line is the after staying 2 nights I was transferred into 4 rooms. The rooms are haunted. They send a bellman up as an untrained electrical to try and adjust electrical issues they have. When in the room the bellman created sparks which could have easily led to a fire. If you’re looking for a life and death deal, this might be the place for you!!!

Overall good experience. I have one remark on Checkin. We arrived around 2PM after a long flight but the room was not ready although all details were shared with the hotel beforehand. I wanted to celebrate my anniversary in the same honeymoon hotel and it was a good idea

Amazing location and great staff. The rooms have a patina but that makes the charm. The bar is good, so is the breakfast. For dinner we went to the Chinese restaurant next to it.
