Exceptional staff and service but the hotel is getting a bit old, need a full renovation urgently.

Honestly i thought so much more about Metropole brand. The following issues completely ruined my post-stay opinion. 1) In 4 nights i got no additional supply of soap/body wash/shampoo. Like if you want it go ask for it. We're barely cleaning in your bath,be thankful. 2) I had better breakfast in business 3-star hotels. Very small choice. The only good thing were croissants. 3) Upon leaving I had to go downstairs twice due to the ammount of luggage - the second time i came in the staff member was already there opening up one of my boxes while there was a clear sign on the door "please dont disturb". She just saw me in the hall with part of the luggage and decided to bump in. Pathetic.

A fantastic, luxury hotel with lake view rooms, including a view of the Jet d'Eau Fountain, Geneva. Great service, amenities and staff. Walking distance to great shopping and dining options.Perfect location beside the lake and the old town

The hotel is right across from lake Geneve. We could look out and see the park and lake. The room was beautiful. The staff was amazing

Hotel has prime location and decorations are extremely elegant. Staff made an effort to help but did not provide helpful recommendations for food / entertainment options nearby (although we did stay on a Sunday which is a quieter day for Geneva). Rooms were on the smaller side, but had all the basic amenities needed (less of a personal touch than most hotels of this status). Would recommend for a short visit to Geneva for those looking to stay somewhere historical / elegant but without much of the modern services provided

Upon checking in we were told they had this planned power outage 12-5am, which already sounded like a problem. At midnight everything turned off including air so it because it got stuffy and hot , I opened window and listened to traffic and people noise for about an hour, finally started to nod off at 245, at 330am all of the lights came blazing on (even though I had turned them off before the power cut) so woke me up and then 4am they went back off/ air circulating problem repeated, then 5am everything blazed back on again. So woke up again so I slept from 530-725 when my alarm went off. Absolutely unacceptable. When I complained I was offered a 50% off voucher. Absolutely disgraceful and arrogant behaviour from the hotel. Has made a day of meetings very difficult. Will not be staying here again.

Best place you can stay at in Geneva. We ended a week long trip here and the roof-top bar was the perfect finale. Great time, great room, superior service.

Staff was amazing and very welcoming. They went above and beyond and purchased an apple charger for his iPhone while he was at work since he forgot his. Recommend having at least one drink up on the roof bar.

Dear Roxane, last time I was at the Mirror Bar. I had to wait 45 mins for 2 portions of caviar. It arrived finally I got a discount, the waiter was friendly and it was not his fault, but truly unacceptable. And something else, when I order caviar, I just want the caviar, not an entire loaf of bread, onions, capres, eggs and whatever else came with the 10gr caviar, this side stuff is completely ruining the actual taste.

Rooftop view is wonderful both day and night. The staff provide good service. Good place to smoke cigar before the evening as afterwards smoking is not allowed where you sit subject to weather. They even sell cigars.

We have been to the hotel for the 4th time (2022, 2021, 2019, 2018). For some reason, this year we got the worst room in our history with the hotel (room 432 - at the end of the 4th floor in a corner with a view to the opposite building - we were on a corporate rate, so it felt like that they assigned us the worst room due to a low corporate pricing). Besides that, the hotel is fantastically located, check-in staff is friendly, the roof top bar is amazing, breakfast variety is okayish. The gym only opens at 7am (it used to be 8am a 2 years ago - so there is some improvement) but i don‘t understand why they cannot have it open 24/7. The gym is unattended (I.e. no staff required) and if business people have meetings starting at 8am, it is impossible to squeeze a quick gym session before the day starts. We will be back next summer.

With very friendly, professional and thoughtful staff, very attentive to details, great overall presentation, the bedrooms were very comfortable and well thought, although something in the decoration didn't match well, maybe the wallpaper colours. Great rooftop bar, restaurant and location.

The stay has been phenomenal. Staff was very friendly and quick to respond to all of my queries The highlight has been Matilde from the front desk. Very professional and definitely made the whole stay feel like being at home

Great location. Staff friendly. Conceirge was terrific. Rooms a bit dated and needs better AC for summer months. View from room was nice, lake side room Very very expensive in summer for 3 people, as is most of Geneva. Taxis have the highest prices ive ever experienced, by far. Rooftop bar and lounge has great views. Go up there early though

Ideal for after-work drinks. Nice roof terrace that could actually be better done - feels a bit plastic-y. There’s always a danger that amazing views are the money maker and the venue isn’t trying to hard but here at least the staff is friendly. Prices are as expected for downtown Geneva and the view.

Honestly, this has to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My expectations for hotels are VERY high. As someone who is scared of germs and idolizes cleanliness, this hotel went beyond my expectations. The rooms are extremely modern. I’ve never seen a mirror with a built in tv!!! I would highly suggest you stay here as the accommodation, staff, and services are excellent. Everyone is so helpful and I suggest you consider staying it this luxury 5 star hotel.

We Just went to the roof top bar, it smells so good in the hotel. Roof top had an amazing view, great for a drink with friends or couple. Highly recommended for the views. You order drinks by app on the table.

If you are in the mood for drinks with one of the best views in Geneva, I recommend the roof top bar here. they have this really cute flower wall for amazing photos with your friends. service is super warm and you wont even have to keep refilling your own glass. the waiters will treat you well. the bar is super inclusive and I love how they are very warm and welcoming. I recommend this spot for a lovely night out with friends with an exciting view

We spent only a night here during our week long trip to Switzerland. Four of us were split into two rooms next to each other. Rooms were quiet and nice. Spent a couple hours on the top floor lounge at night. Good view from there even though it was kind of small. The breakfast buffet was good. Actually it was better than most places that we have been through that week. No on-site parking though. Valet parking is available.

Great view from the room, you can see the lake and the park. Great service and rooms. The area is pricey but it was a nice experience.

Good location and had a great stay for a week.A big thank you to Mr Adam Sennara for an excellent service, for always going the extra mile.

The view is amazing, 5 stars for that. However, they need to be more aware of customers food preferences. We had an event and specifically ordered vegan entrées and they came with non-vegan mayonnaise!

The hotel by far made my holiday complete. The staff is friendly and their concierge staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and their housekeeping was perfect. The location 📍 is perfect, close to the venues, shops, and the lake. Special thanks to the professional concierge ( Loic, maximize, and Julien).

I arrived at 12.30 pm but they didn’t check me in bc they said the check in is at 3 pm so I waited for 2 hours and half to get my room. Eventually I got my room it was so smelly ( maybe smoking or stinky smell) No Complimentary drinks as they usually offer in the rooms. The toilet chair (wc) is stained so you feel it dirty . Bath robe is also stained. But the reception service is good in response . So my rate will be : level of cleanliness 1/5 Level of Hospitality 2/5 Level of Reception responding 4/5

Stayed here on a business trip. Great location but prices to match (it is Geneva…). Room was not huge but comfortable and staff attentive. Roof top bar is nice.

Excellent hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly with us. Service was very quick even on busy days. It’s also located near great attractions in Geneva. The only downside is that we visited at a time when they were renovating so the entrance was closed off. It’s also not easily accessible for strollers/wheelchairs as the entrance had stairs but the staff was very kind to assist us with bringing the stroller up and down the stairs when needed.

👍👍 Best pizza in town. Excellent dough. Many topping super tasty such as fior de latte or spicy sausages. Great pasta as well. Lots of choice of other italian dishes. Great desert such as canoli . Good barolo wine less than 50chf. On the downside the cocktail are not so good. The venue is noisy, don't...
