Just beautiful place and the food was amazing & Service was a 5 of 5!

Spent my "once-a-year free from motherhood night" at Oak Grill tonight. It is my second time at Bürgenstock but my 1st time at Oak Grill. I was very happy the moment we got there. Staffs were warm, friendly and professional. The rustic ambiance just made me feel in love with the place. I was thankful that my man have chosen this place. Great foods in very reasonable prices. Just the starter alone already made my little appetite so full that i was only able to eat half portion of my main course and very little of my dessert. Service was excellent. But the couple sitting next to our table kind of ruined my most needed night by watching videos loudly on their cellphones and did it even worse after the staff advised them regarding my concern. One reason my man have chosen this restaurant is because it is the ambiance i needed. Although i know such situation is somehow beyond your/our control since it is their manners, in the future it would be lovely if such situation could be avoided. Such behaviour is such an insult to the restaurant and to the guest that wants to have a great and calm dining experience.

Amazing view and cold breeze in the middle of the hot summer. And the food is very delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The service is lovely and I would definitely come here again!

We had high expectations but in some points we were extremely disappointed. First of all the location is extremely nice however the service doesn’t fit to a $$$-$$$$ restaurant. We ordered a very expensive glass of wine and we got the wine from a open bottle with a dead wasp 😬. The sommelier said “sorry, this is nature”. Furthermore, all wines had in my opinion the wrong temperature. So I don’t expect that in a $$$$ restaurant. Positive feedback to the Oak kitchen/cook the dishes were delicious…

The food is incredible and the service impeccable! Lena and Pascal took great care of us making the experience perfect from beginning to end.

Overall experience is fine , but the food wasn’t tasty , very normal and even not really tasty . The place is just overestimated. I had steak and baked potato, my friend- sezar salad with chicken, she said that salad leaves were not really cleaned, like the sand on the leaves … staff are very friendly, trying to be attentive and friendly at the same time .

We have booked the restaurant Oak Grill & Pool Patio for our very precious clients this week and how pleased we were to hear their feedback describing their experience as: "Positively shocked and impressive service at the Oak Grill & Pool Patio restaurant and their overall stay at the Bürgenstock Resort. We spent our family christmas dinner in the OAK grill while outside it was snowing! What a beautiful setting. We ate the spanish and irish steak which is pricy indeed but totally worth it.

Oak grill was the best restaurant we went to in Burgenstock. Great service. We tried Parisan and Spices but both were not as good. Veal chop was 10/10, had the best mac and cheese and duck fat fries. Love the lamb chop and foie gras. Only giving 2 stars for atmosphere as there were flies around during our meal and one flew into our dish which kind of ruined our dinner. Please put an electric insect cage here.

What a great evening! We went for the Sunset Garden Dinner to celebrate a 50:th birthday and it couldn´t have been better. From the welcoming we got, to the apero, to the food, to the wine, to the ambience, to the weather and the sunset we got to enjoy and to the surprise birthday cake. We loved everything, really everything. Thank you so much for a memorable evening!

Delicious! We had the brisket for 2, and it was PERFECT! Coming from Texas I’m always a little skeptical about brisket, especially when in Europe, but this was out of this world!! Amazing dinner, and amazing restaurant staff! Thank you for having us.

Second time visiting, first time was in winter for an afternoon tea, this time was a proper dinner on a sunny June evening. Very good service and atmosphere, big room with beautiful decor and full of light. The food was excellent (tenderloin, char, cheesecake, romanoff, kid’s menu), the sommelier recommended an excellent red Burgundy and Swiss dessert wine. After dinner drinks by the pool looking at the sunset offered by the hotel. Amazing, not cheap though, budget an easy 100-150 CHF per person, much more if you go hard. Highly recommended at the end of a day visiting the Burgenstock and taking in the amazing views

The service was incredible, lovely staff, the food was amazing and very well presented. All in all a great experience! Only thing I didn't really like was that some guys visited the restaurant in bathrobes and slippers - but on the webpage they request smart-casual attire.

first time at bürgenstock, we both were pretty impressed by the resort and the surroundings an ofc the view. Shamara Perera greeted us warmly when we entered OAK. the service was superb and every wish we had was granted without hesitation (sharing plates, sharing wines, etc). the food was impeccable, we ordered the mistkratzerli and the iberico tomahawk, both dishes were grilled to perfection. the sides and sauces were perfect too! regarding the proportions, i was kindly stunned, great price/value! The only thing I missed was a "real" espresso, but this is a grill and not a cafe. We had 2 glasses of champagne, 1 glass of expensive white wine, 2 mains, 3 sides and 1 dessert and got billed 280 chf which we gladly rounded up to 300 for the service that worked very hard on this holiday.

Nice place, but I just think the food is nothing special. For above 80 chf I had 200g of filet steak which was nicely seared and perfectly cooked but for some reason was very bland (either underseasoned and/or something to do with the grass-fed nature of Swiss cattle?). For 80CHF or less I have had much tastier filet steaks elsewhere. The sweet potato fries could have had a bit more crunch. The dessert (a somewhat deconstructed cheesecake) was absolutely excellent though. Service was nice and attentive apart from some minor mishaps from the waitress.

Coming from New York, a city with great food, this restaurant was one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. We got the tenderloin, fried and Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was the best mac and cheese I’ve had in my entire life.
