The hotel was in a quiet little area with a big green area right beside it and not too far from Bärengraben, a very cool bear park. They had very good food at the hotel and a beautiful patio to eat at. The rooms were nice looking and very clean, and had windows which gave nice views of the surrounding town. They also gave you a bottle of honey to mix in with sparkling water. In all, this was a fantastic place to stay and I would stay there again.

The hotel is located in a calm neighborhood with excellent access to public transportation. Breakfast is great with a broad selection and very attentive staff. Overall the hotel has a very modern and creative design which creates a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great value for money is another reason to stay here. Absolute recommendation for any business a leisure stay in the beautiful capital of Switzerland.

We loved the Alpenblick! It is located in a friendly neighbourhood (we used to live there) and its front desk staff is absolutely fabulous. As Swiss expats living in Australia, we recently stayed there for five days. Our room was extremely clean, had lots of hooks and shelves for storage, openable windows (there was a 'heatwave'), a good sized bathroom, and the bed was great quality. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and we loved the fact that we could choose how often we wanted the room cleaned. We just booked it for another stay next year.

Big big minus: No Breakfast Buffet!!! On demand one can order a breakfast box with a single white croissant, and some juice. An absolute no-go if you're trying to start your day with something healthy. A real shame: Used to be a such a great place before it changed ownership

Beautiful modern hotel with apartment-style rooms. Lots of great facilities including a hairdresser, small convenience shop, kiosk, and skateboards to rent. Very close to the old town in a quiet neighbourhood - very peaceful!

The hotel has no spectacular view, even though it's called Alpenblick. The room is nice and maybe a litle atypical for a hotel room. It has a built in desk than can be turned into a fully functional kitchen. The shower has two separate knobs for hot and cold water! I'm so fed up with single joysticks that have you trying to find the tiny spot between zero kelvin and plasma! The cleaning was spotless and the service from the frontdesk was terrific. I felt in very good hands.

An absolutely great place to stay with a family. Clean, comfortable beds, and nice touches like low hooks for the kids coats and plug adapters to charge our phones.

The food was ok, not perfect but just good. What surprises me is the way it has been served: from the moment I entered the restaurant till the moment I paid, the servant was doing her best to make me feeling I have to be grateful that I ended up in this place and for the fact that actually they serve me with food for my own money. Unfortunately the understanding of hospitality and service in many Swiss places is far below the acceptable level.

A cleverly designed and well maintained hotel conveniently placed in a quiet neighbourhood close to the city centre (15 minute walk). Rooms are not cleaned daily, however, so be careful of your towel!

I stayed in Alpenblick Bern in August for almost a month and my stay was very pleasant. I had XXL family room with a kitchen. It felt like home. There was everything needed for comfortable life. The personal was very nice and helpful. Michael on the reception was always ready to resolve any request. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Bern.

This hotel is great at it's level. Rooms are modern, staff very friendly. Decent breakfast selection and the restaurant is good with lots of locals giving it atmosphere. It is a 15 minute walk from the centre of town but it's a nice neighborhood with plenty of food choices and you get free transport tickets and the no.9 tram is a few minutes away.

Great hotel not too far away from the train station (the bus or tram will get you there in about 8 minutes). The room was perfect for two people and the breakfast was awesome. The front desk staff was also super helpful and made us feel at home.

I loved this place! Stayed here for 9 days for a work trip, and it was just fantastic. The rooms are cosy, and comfortable. It's in a fantastic location, it was between where I was working and the city centre, so made working and sight seeing very easy. It is an easy walk to the city, or if feeling a bit lazy, the tram stop was only 5 minutes away. They staff were extremely accommodating, and able to help with some unusual requests; Forgotten international power adapters, they had some on hand; my partner wanting to stay with me for the weekend, they were happy to add him to the room. The breakfast that's part of the cost of the room was simple, but delicious. It's a beautiful historic looking building, but the rooms are just modern, and chic. I'd recommend staying here!

I stayed 3 nights here in August and I loved it, the staff are just the best. Very friendly and always checking to know if you are okay 😊. The decoration style is really beautiful, not the typical European hotel themes. I don't want to spoil it for you 😜, the breakfast buffet is good with a variety of good options. Unfortunately I never got to eat at the restaurant, just drank beer there and it was great too 😎. I didn't give 5 stars because the computer in the library could use some upgrade, when I tried to use it for booking a ticket it was not usable for me. I gave up and downloaded the ticket app, I didn't want to do that initially since I was staying just a few days and didn't want to create an account. I recommend this place if you want a good experience in Bern, it is located in proximity to bus 9 (10mins) and bus 20 (15mins). Both buses will take you to and from Bern main train station called Bern Bahnhof, I mostly walked to and from the station, it is just about 26 minutes.
