    Super cute hotel! Have to be honest, it was a very short stay and I didn’t leave my room, BUT it was clean and check in was swift. I very nice “airport hotel” that’s not an airport hotel. 4stars because you’ll randomly get really bad smells in your room from the pipes, but it’s very common in Europe since the buildings are usually older, even if remodeled.

    Luxurious rooms and bathrooms. Lighting is a bit on the dark side. Beds aren’t that comfortable either. Service is a bit slow particularly if you end up checking in during busy period. Singapore Airlines crew stays here too.

    I had a short stay here at Kameha Grand Zurich and the staff made it feel like home. The rooms were super clean / Decor was superb / Room Service is top notch / Location to the airport is great and it's away from the craziness of downtown Zurich. Parking was simple and affordable. I would highly recommend this location. Shout out to Iyad for going the extra mile to make our stay even better. 5 stars!

    Staff are nice. Breakfast is not bad. But there is a serious problem about the lighting! The whole hotel is so dim and even unable to read a document in the room. The lighting is totally unacceptable.

    Really nice hotel in a quieter area. Needs some updates, though. The air in the room was warm and stuffy. It also needs updated televisions. The pillows were way too soft and squishy, giving my head no support while I tried to sleep. Other than that, the breakfast is excellent and staff are helpful and friendly.

    The staff are very helpful and attentive and willing to help. But something is really wrong with air conditioner, which isn’t there fault, in fact, they shouldn’t have bear the responsibility for it but they step up and give me helping hand with professionalism by assisting me in room changimg. All the stars goes to the staff, I adjusted the air conditioner to 18C but it feels like 30C it was very warm that I couldn’t sleep at all. I have been waiting for the air conditioner to work well and it took me 4 hours to be able to move to the room that the air con works properly. My past 2 rooms is not working at all. I really hope the hotel maintenance will take action a d fix it as it seems like i’m not the first guest who encountered the same situation here.

    I have been staying with Marriott (almost religiously) for approx. 10 years now. I have never come across such a badly run hotel... having booked a Superior Suite, I was expecting a certain standard. Let me spare you the full details, but from check-in to general trouble shooting it was simply a disaster. Staff/Manager were very rude. Serenity Suite is a run down room with broken mattress and noisy A/C. At 8am they start cleaning the other rooms, which can be heard very well from your own room. Front desk cannot be reached via phone ever - try it yourself! The chat function via app is simply ignored. Check-out is not 5* worthy. Please don’t advertise as premium hotel going forward.

NEGATIVE: - We expect you in a 4 * hotel friendlier reception (The lady on Reception didn't even have a 'hello' for my wife and kids left over from not to mention a smile!) - no corona notices far and wide, no disinfectants or masks, distance rules are also applied Personnel not complied with! - The glasses, cups and the bathroom were only moderately cleaned, just like the window panes - The bed was only moderately comfortable, for our taste too soft and around to be able to sleep fairly straight, we have with the head at the foot end slept. - unfortunately no window that can be opened - no Netflix CONCLUSION: Due to the reception of the lady (check-in in the early evening Sun. 31.05.2020), the complete ignorance of the corona situation and the not entirely clean glasses and cups, we didn't feel very comfortable.     Had an enjoyable stay, breakfast was good and had diversity. I did not put 5 stars due to the price of the parking, also the bathroom sink was broken. I inspected the bed sheets without touching anything, and it had light hair (I do not have light hair) and some dust ! But it was just a bit. I still enjoyed my stay, and the hotel is very well decorated ! I do recommend this place !

    Pretty awful. Far from anywhere, looks dangerous to walk around, front door is one of those stupid revolving doors you can't fit in with your luggage, elevator is impossible to figure out, toilet is literally hidden, dumbest room layout I've ever seen, everything is a puzzle, especially the lights and the do not disturb. Plus they tried to take two certificates for one night asking me to prove I didn't get a second email. How do you prove that? Terrible shower design, entire bathroom flooded when I took a shower, an inch deep. Both shower and tub faucets leaked horribly when the water was on. Had to change rooms.

    My wife and I were very disappointed with our 3 night stay at the Kameha Grand Zurich! The air conditioning was non-existent and I spent my entire time there in a sweat. If we weren't with 3 other couples, we would have gone to a different hotel after the first night! I asked the desk clerk about the AC and he kind of blew it off as some kind of government regulation to reduce energy consumption, or something like that! In addition to the AC, the "hi tech" lighting system was ridiculous! Instead of light switches, they had little control panels that had multiple options for mood lighting, blinds up and down, and probably another that I didn't use or would ever use. You could hardly read what the options were on the control panel. If the room was dark, I had to use my flashlight app on my phone to see which button to push to turn on or off the lights. Lastly, our shower drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom floor the first morning and we had to use all our towels to try and sop up the water. One of our friends in a different room had the same issue. For $240 a night, I would expect better! Stay somewhere else!

    Beautiful and luxurious hotel - the service is amazing here. Iyad is extremely welcoming and nice. From the moment we walked in until the end of our stay we were very well taken care of. The rooms are gorgeous and we love the cute chocolate design that is so on vibe with the city we're in. Highly recommend staying here the next time you're in Zurich - I definitely will be back!

    EDIT: Removing a star for the shard of glass we found in the freely available glasses and water in the lobby, which could have been dangerous. Good hotel, friendly staff, spacious and well equipped rooms. Recommended.

    The hotel has great decor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s close to the tram and easy to get to from the rail station and I imagine the airport. Our room was clean and very classy, however it was a little hot as the air conditioner wasn’t quite blowing enough air. I would say the entrance to the hotel wasn’t indicative of luxury as it needed to be swept and cleared of debris. The bed was broken in the first room we were assigned to so we had to move to another room and was not offered an upgrade or even help moving out bags. Overall for the cost of our stay, and considering it won an award in 2019, I expected a better experience.

    This is the Marriott if you have an early flight. Consider this an airport upscale hotel. Not the place to stay if your visiting Zurich. The spa is top notch. Steam and two sauna’s, high end exercise equipment and body and face treatments with elite Swiss products.

    Competent, friendly, and efficient staff. The rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are uniquely laid out. If you don’t mind being a little far away from the historic downtown this is a solid hotel to stay while in Zurich.

    The hotel il beautiful but what a pity they don't take care of it. Maybe a lack of staff? The room was dirty and the restaurant too. The staff people were adorable but couldn't help much. The hotel is situated about 30mn with the tram from city center. You should visit from there the whole city by foot. I'll not reserve in this hotel for the next time. I expect much better for an marriott chain hotel.. Hoping it will change in the future. The potential of the hotel is huge.

    Extremely friendly front desk staff. We arrived early and they stored our luggage professionally with a bag tag. Elite breakfast in the restaurant. They have suites with themes, such as a workout suite, space suite, and a standard executive suite. Quick access to downtown and from the airport with the multiple tram options.

    Hotel is interesting, staff very unhelpful. Room wasn’t feather free and they had no one to make it a feather free room, highly allergic and no reactivity by the staff. The floor we were located on (5) smells like urine (feline or dog). The air conditioning doesn’t even move air into the rooms so it’s hot and miserable. Do not stay here. Take your money somewhere that actually cares about customer comfort. Follow up on the feather free…. Had to remove the bedding myself to only get a rash and no other bedding for the bed. Good thing it’s so hot it really isn’t needed anyway. Great job autograph collection…

    Rooms are ok, reasonably well furnished and with good beds and pillows. Beware of the lifts - they are of the new type with no buttons inside and sometimes the key cards controlling the destination can be quite temperamental, so one can end up on different floors than intended, which then engenders multiple trips back to the groundfloor. The restaurant was the least appealing part of the experience - a tiny piece of beef filet rather underwhelmingly cooked and presented, for a really hefty price. The wine list was average in terms of selection, again at premium prices. The evening was salvaged slightly by the service. Location is ok-ish if you visit for business and your company happens to be based in Oerlikon, otherwise there isn't much else to do in the area. Overall, the rating reflects my perception of the value-for-money experience offered.

    A chic and service oriented hotel. This is the place to stay if you want stylish comfort and excellent service. I had some issues (which did not involve the hotel & staff) and i approached front desk Manager Mr Raul and his friendly team, Ms Aon & Ms Sibylie for assistance. They were quick to respond with smiles and reassurances and my issues were resolved in double quick time. This is my hotel of choice when I return to Zurich!

    Stayed there in July. Had an early flight. Explicitly asked for a breakfast box at check-in. Just to find out at the check-out that the lad has forgoten to request the breakfast box for me, and they didn't have any spare (?) and were otherwise paralyzed to fix it in any other way, lol. What a Marriott level. A note for foodies. The pasta at dinner was microwaved from frozen. That sad situation when the meat and the sauce thaw at different speed and release water into the dish. Yuck. Choose carefully what you order, ask what's fresh. Good: exceptional pillows and bedding overall.

    What a wonderful hotel this is. The service, the rooms, the decor and the breakfast are all outstanding We checked in late and the front desk person was very kind and super helpful). She even offered my wife a space to conduct a university lecture. The macroon in the room was a sweet touch. I definitely will be back to Kameha when I come back to Zurich.

    Excellent stay. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. I was upgraded to a luxurious suite with bath tub due to my titanium elite status. The room layout is nice. The breakfast is an extensive spread with a little bit of everything for everyone. Very good value for money. Hotel staff is extremely courteous and accommodating.

    It looks fancy from outside , inside nothing special . The room are small , dusty breakfast not included . It's about 20 min drive to Zurich old town . You pay for parking 😒

    Not a great experience unfortunately. We stayed there for only 2 nights as part of our group tour, and we were expecting the nicest hotel at the end of our holiday, even told was a five starts hotel. This was not it. The rooms are dark, and the lighting functions they included are confusing and unnecessary. Keep it simple! We are into technology but adding old fashion and confusing systems in place doesn't make you a modern hotel. The shower was not good as the water easily filled up the bathroom area. The toilet room had no privacy. Why would I need a mirror and why should the room be half-visible? No comfortable furniture and a design that added to the clutter and confusion of the room for no reason. We also had a broken wardrobe that left the room lit from it's interior light, all night long. The elevator function was also not a great experience when you have 50people checking in at the same time. The key cards were extremely easy to become disabled. The restaurant's food at night was descent. The breakfast was poor and missing key options. Poor eggs station, and had no pancakes. The staff, some were impatient and not polite, most need a better training especially at the eggs cooking station, th waiters at the restaurant, and the baristas at the cocktails bar. We used the bar on our first night, as the group arrived at the hotel around 9pm and we only had time to get a quick dinner and then a drink. We were sueved until 12pm on a Thursday which was reasonable. So instantly we assumed that the bar opens until midnight. We planned to enjoy some last drinks the next and last night of our trip there and when we arrived after our dinner at 11pm the bar was already closed. On. Friday night! The staff, not polite, gave us the excuse that they close at random times based on if there are people or nor and also we were told that we should had read the leaflet information for timings. Why would we need to do that when you show us a certain time on one night and then you change that time the next night because of your convenience? And how you expect us to do that in rooms that barely has any light to read anything? We were very disappointed and felt a great deal of the type of unprofessionalism from the staff and the hotel. This hotel's only good part was the location. Other than that, don't expect a five or even a four stars experience here. Is a 3/5 star hotel at the most.

    What a fun hotel! Everything is Swiss themed, but didn’t feel tacky. They managed to incorporate giant golden bells, bank safes and many other quintessential Swiss things into this hotel. The rooms are so luxurious for what you’re paying and have giant soaker tubs, showers, mirrors for days, a working desk, super comfortable bed and the room itself is very spacious.

    Room was nice and big. Pillows are terrible and room had a weird smell. Carpet was wet near bathtub. Close to trams so easy to get to downtown. Also AC does not work, we had it at 18C and we were sweating. They gave us a fan but still hot. And you can't open the windows.

    Definitely not a 5 star hotel! The staff was like a bunch of unqualified people that were gathered few days ago and got information about what they will do!!! Especially the staff of the restaurant and bar! I just don't want to remember the girl at the bar that doesn't have even the basic rules of how the treat customers. Clean and decent rooms you can find even in 2star hotel. From a 5star hotel you expect much much more!!!

    Overall, we did not have the most pleasant stay at this location. However, the front desk did help us with parking and after our stay, despite the issues we encountered, the front staff did remedy our issues. Although our stay was not great, I do believe that with our feedback, the hotel will improve their service and it will be a marvelous stay for those visiting in the future.

    Flight was cancelled so SwissAir sent us for an overnight stay here. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Room was amazing, like a bank vault...fabulous! Had a soup before bed...very tasty. Had to leave before breakfast sadly. Travelled there via the tram...5 stops from the airport, easy to get to. Would love to stay again...under better circumstances😀

    Pro/Con list: Pros: the technology is everywhere in this hotel. The lights turn on and off when you walk down a hallway. The elevators are automated. The rooms have mood lighting. The breakfast was phenomenal. The parking garage is the nicest parking garage I've ever seen. It is very close to the tram and bus routes. Cons: They could have invested money in air conditioning that actually works. Even when it is 26 outside, the room won't cool below 23. The TV is a dumb tv, no Netflix, YouTube, etc. Hotel is 20 minutes from Zurich. Hotel is in a business park/airport type location, so there isn't much to see or do here. No pool at the hotel. Executive suite isn't that sweet!

    We had a number of problems with our stay last week at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms 3 months in advance. Upon arriving at the hotel, they were unable to give us one of the room configurations that we booked so we ended up with "what was left". One of the rooms smelled terrible (they had a shower leak that kept getting the rug wet) and it was difficult to get them to switch our room. On the second day, all of our keys stopped working and I was told by staff that it was our fault, that keys don't just "stop" working. Finally, upon checkout we were charged over $700 more than what I had reserved the rooms for. I would not stay here again. It was very disappointing.

    We needed a hotel close to the airport for an overnight layover. This hotel was perfect and to make it even better we had the pleasure of meeting Rahul. He made us feel very welcome after a long day of travel. We had an early flight the next morning and he set up a cab to pick us up and even brought us a little breakfast in the lobby before our cab arrived. Our room was very nice and comfortable and our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to staying here for a longer visit in the future.

    Stayed one night (7 hours to be precise) for a last minute overnight layover at Zurich. Got upgraded to a spacious King suite. Room is pristine and bed is super comfortable. Noise from the downstair bar is loud but didn't bother me once the windows are closed. Hotel staff is very accommodative. Would recommend and stay again.

    It was our family's first time in switzerland and we booked the hotel Kameha grand via AFC holidays. The whole duration of the stay was great and we were satisfied until the time of check out when an unfortunate and probably avoidable incident happened. One of our bags with valuable items (laptop, phone, and 2 ipads) were stolen from the hotel lobby while the receptionist and my husband were moving them from the lift to the conceirge area. The thief came from outside and took our bag and nobody noticed him. It seems that the hotel doesnt have any security personel and if they have, that personel was not keen observing the area. Our family including my kids were so shocked as this is the first time it happened to us. We had an impression that switzerland is a safe and secured place so we didnt worry at all. We had the leave the hotel as our flight is on the same day and the only way we could follow up with them on the incident is via email. Right now we are still waiting for the response from them and the police. I am in touch with the front office manager. I am hoping that this sad, scary and unfortunate event could be replaced by relief and assurance that all the damages (emotional and financial) will be paid back ideally by recovering the actual items (with important data). We are hoping that the hotel can look into this and see how they can help us or cover for this. I will post another review based on their updates.

Amazing hotel where the rooms are very clean and modern. Bathrooms are very exquisite and decor is luxurious. Staff are excellent and the amenities are ample.     Very impressed with this hotel. It's a short 10 minute tram ride, by the #10 or #12 tram, from the airport. Takes only 25 minutes to get downtown by tram. The hotel is very modern with interestingly designed rooms but all done very well. Room is spacious and very comfortable. The entire hotel is clean and quite relaxing. The staff has been awesome! Super friendly and accommodating! They seem to understand great customer service. Hotel is close to a grocery store and in a nice area. If you're debating whether to stay at this hotel, do it. My wife and I came to Zurich for a quick vacation and have loved this hotel!

    It was insanely terrible cause i can't say less. On the outside trendy yes... But for the rest is awful. Never visit the spa or the massage area...     Stayed a full week in this hotel and from start to finish it was a disaster.Was given the wrong room on arrival and had to wait 30mn after a long day travelling to get the correct one.I had chosen a bedroom with large stand up bath but due to a fault and design of the plug you cannot fill the bath more than a 1/4 of it s capacity and I soon as you slouch in it and relax the plug pop up so useless.The spotlights are awfull and very hard to adjust in the room.Shower is not powerful and had to complain and make list every day for my room to get clean .Every day something was missing like cups,glass etc... or not done and 1 evening found the basic refills left in a plastic bag 😱with clean towels but used one still in the bath and bins full to the top not emptied! Shocking level of service! I understand with the Corona Virus cuts had to be made but although the team is nice ,they need common sense and be trained to a 4* customer service..I stayed in an hotel for a purpose not a luxury apartment and expect hotel service ....3/4 of the facilities were shut or run down ,the fact that the manager is only there 1 day does not help if the team hasn't got a clue or has been trained accordingly.I received compensation of 50CHF laughable considering the level of service I had received the full week.Very stressful stay with a huge problem with cleaning team
