This place has a very relaxed vibe. The music and design make me feel like in vacation. I ordered the chicken with fried plantains and found it quite delicious.

This is the best restaurant we eat in Zurich for much. Fresh food, great service and not crowded. Prices are good for the taste of food. They even give us Mamajuana for free at the end, you can't find this in Zurich anywhere where prices are super high. You have to go there!

Delicious food and an absolutely new experience for me. I never had Dominican food before but this was great in taste and definitely value for money. Once the food was brought on table, I feel I’m on holiday in the Caribbean.

The food was absolute delicious, super tasty, great portions and the service deserve 10⭐️ The mojito and cahipiriña a bit to sweet but the rest was great🙌🏼 we will back for sure ✨😋🍴

This was my first time here and I was not disappointed! The food was traditionally spiced, slow cooked and they have good portion sizes which offsets it not being the least expensive place to eat. My personal suggestion would be to go with friends and share dishes as tasting all the different spicing of the dishes really elevated the experience. Also, service might be a bit slow (not in a bad way for the dishes we ordered) so make sure to account for a little bit of extra wait time for your dinner and making plans. Overall, I will be going back!

The best Caribbean/Dominican restaurant in Zürich. 100% recommended.

I was disappointed. I had looked forward to a great exciting meal but what we received was boring, at best. Two different dishes - both bland and dry. Even though the service was good I will not go there again.

Really nice Caribbean food in the heart of Zurich.

The Caribbean looks like a hastily refurbished bar, with bachata and reggaeton hits blaring, and the corresponding music videos shown on multiple screens. It's a fun atmosphere, very much in contrast to Zurich's otherwise subdued character. The food itself is very good, except for two smaller issues: 1) the cheese balls seemed to have been fried in old oil, giving them a slightly off taste; 2) one of fried chicken pieces was undercooked, but the other four or so were perfect. The service can be very slow: we had to wait 30 minutes for the starter, and another 30 minutes for the main dishes. Prices are rather low for Zurich: a very filling dinner for two set us back 80 CHF. Recommended.

The dish I orderes was very good the chicken was falling off the bone and the sauce and beans with the rice was just perfect. My husbands dish on the other hand the chicken was almost rock hard way too overcooked and too chewy. But the staff are very sweet and amazing, so based off of my food and the staff you should definitely check this place out!

Really enjoyed our meal here the food is so delicious from the crispy chicken , those who like it spicy ask for their chili sauce and pour that on top of your chicken , amazing . Their fries have been my favorite in all of Zurich and their Mexican style ribs are delicious and well flavored, meat falls off the bones . Highly recommend

For an evening I was transported back to the Dominican Republic; the food was delicious!! (as I remember) and the service was friendly (as I also remember). So glad it's here in Zürich so I can get my Caribbean fix. Karoke was relaxed and fun.

We are traveling from the US and stopped in Switzerland for a marathon on New Year’s Eve. We were trying to find food all over Zürich, and they were one of the only restaurants open. We walked in and they greeted us warmly. Luckily I speak Spanish and was able to order. The lady cook was incredibly nice and super helpful. The food was great. 10/10 give this place a try.

Wonderful Friday night dinner at The Caribbean! I was happy to find a place with latin food in Zurich and was very excited to try it out. The place definitely exceeded our expectations. Food was fantastic, the service was super friendly and excellent. Definitely it should become one of our regular spots in the city. I don't what the difference is between a Colombian or Dominican Sancocho, but I can definitely recommend the Sancocho here as it was delicious even if it's not the same as the one in my country. Also the ribs were just to die for.

Very delicious food, I loved the sancocho! Also wonderful service in German, English and Spanish :) The cocktails are generous with the alcohol. Definitely nice place to sit a while and eat with friends.

The food and service was excellent! We were pleasantly surprised to find such authentic and fresh Caribbean cuisine in Zurich. Also, the owner was friendly and attentive. We would definitely dine here again when in the area.

We ordered Sancocho, Carne de Res, Spaghetti and the fried plátanos. It was a chilling evening in the early autumn. And the Sancocho soup warmed up our body real fast. It was one of the best soups I ever had in Zurich. Carne de Res with Plátanos had a really nice representation and good taste. The spaghetti was a bit milky. And the staff were extremely nice.

Great food and top quality. Very tasty. Amicable service. We had our table in a small garden - really lovely. The portions are gigantic - you may get a heart attack but it's totally worth it!
