Beautiful hotel only 15 minutes away from the old town center via public transportation with restaurant and bar. The place is very clean and rooms are modern. Took off two stars because the AC was not strong and it felt hot, and the other because I ate breakfast but was charged for three people. I only noticed at check out when my bill was double the price it should have been. Pay attention to your bill, otherwise a very nice place to stay in Zurich.

We stayed here on a short city break in Zurich. A bit further out from the city centre but it's right next to a tram stop so it's not too far to travel. Our Executive Double Room on one of the top floors was excellent, really spacious, with comfortable bedding, and ample storage space. The bathroom was also great, with a large shower and bath. Overall value was not bad for the room, in a pretty expensive city, if you don't mind having to travel slightly further out.

This hotel is the worst. This is not the Sheraton I know. - Asked not to disturb, they came in and rearranged all of my stuff - Dirty cups - Did not even pour somebody else's water out of the teapot when we checked-in - A/C is locked I asked how does breakfast work here, the staff's answer was literally one word: "32". Had to drag out of her the time of breakfast, where it is, etc. The worst. Do not stay here.

Please AVOID this property, personally I would never stay here again, this is the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at. Check in took me 40 minutes, the receptionist had no idea what he’s doing. I had to double check with him that both of my rooms had lounge access and breakfast since he seemed completely out of the loop. One of my rooms are not ready yet (already 3:40 pm, consider being a titanium member, this is unacceptable), so we had no choice but to wait in the lounge. We arrive at the lounge and found that our key cards does not have access to the lounge. I’m so angry about this! Took me 40 minutes to check in, I even double checked we should have access to the lounge, and after all the time we spend, we still don’t have access! I had to come down to the reception again, and waited another 10 minutes for him to reset it. We specifically asked that our room keys to be send to the lounge when it’s ready, and the receptionist personally guaranteed that he will let us know when it is ready. However when I came down and asked again if the other room is ready, the receptionist took 10 minutes contacting the house keeping and told me that the room is ready already. Why didn’t anyone notified us? What is going on with this hotel? We went out to visit Lucerne the other day, came back at 5:40 pm and found both of our rooms uncleaned. Called the reception immediately and they promised to send somebody up. I saw the housekeeper on the hallway, she wasn’t working but kept talking on her phone. Came back at 7 pm and found our room “cleaned” as the following photos. Does this meet the standards of Sheraton? I really regret that I chose this hotel at the first place, please AVOID.

TV didn't work, bathroom with shower problem. Delayed room service. They didn't charge back to my 200.00CH credit card, to complete Mr. Rene, completely rude, lousy hotel.

The hotel aesthetic is very nice and the location is prime. But service was not the best. Our room shower was clogged making it impossible to shower since the water would overflow outside. We complained in the front desk and when we came back at night the room had no towels. After calling the reception for towels they said we will send it to you when housekeeping is available. For a 400euros per night hotel we did expect better service and less stress.

We stayed overnight at this hotel for New Year's Eve in Zurich. The location is right in front of the tram stop, which connects to the heart of Zurich. The rooms are spotless, and the bathroom is bigger than average. The place looks modern and well maintained. Since it was New years Eve, the concierge could not help us with any recommendation for dinner, but we managed to find a good place. The breakfast was until 12.30PM, which I liked given most people were going to have a long night to watch fireworks, etc. The hotel has a car park in the basement, which should be pre-booked. Our room was on the 5th floor facing quiet side of the hotel.

Nice proximity to the center of Zürich and a tram right outside the hotel. Clean rooms, good spread in the breakfast buffet, nice personnel. Paid parking is available for around CHF 30/night. We ordered room service and the food was excellent. If we visit Zurich again, we will definitely be staying here.

Very clean and very nice experience. Staff is very friendly and provides English speaking staff in all areas of the hotel. The fitness center was full of great equipment and lots of room for people to work out. Got to stay club level and really enjoyed the larger rooms and bath.

This Hotel is very comfortable, easily accessible by tram from Central station & has friendly staff!. Great service both in the Reception, Club Lounge & Restaurant. Chucky in the restaurant was of great help and really has an eye for detail. The entire team exceeded my expectations and helped to make my stay a great one! Massive thanks, team Sheraton Zürich!

Very good hotel and nice personnel. Good club lounge. Good room (Executive). Breakfast could have a bit more fruit variety (bananas, kiwis, etc.) and muesli (cereals).

The hotel is recognizable from afar due to its unique external architecture and contrast of black and white color. I like how it differs from the rest of the buildings in the area and we didn’t get lost finding it while riding the tram. This is the 4th Sheraton we’ve been and I have to say the hotel chain did not disappoint. It is as expected from the 4 star hotel chain (clean, excellent service and great amenities). Having said that, my rating is not as great as previous due to its location and the room we got. If you would like proximity to the city center, this hotel is a bit far. It will take you at least 10-15 minutes riding the tram. Though the tram stop/station is literally 1 -2 minute walk from the hotel’s doorstep, still it is not very convenient to tourist. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and I think that 4 days of traveling back and forth to the hotel and city center plus the not so great room view (we got) made it less appealing. If it makes any difference, the train connection to reach Rhine Falls is about 2 tram stops away thus you don’t have to travel to Zurich main station. This hotel is located at the city’s business center. The place, particularly the restaurant at the ground floor, can be full catering to their group. Which should be fine but the restaurant space is not that big, so it could get crowded at times. Steak-lovers will surely appreciate the Route 26 serving excellent aged steak. The room we got is a disappointment; it is at the 3rd floor and is directly viewing the elevated railway AND suffice to say, train can get noisy and bothersome. What made this place great and perhaps the main reason why I will choose to come back and stay (again) are the hotel staff. We arrived in Zurich early and we were at the hotel by 10AM. I was glad that we’re able to check in right away. (Take note, it may be okay to splurge and pay extra dollars to get to higher floors with good view). But then $200 a night is already a stretch and therefore we paid the lower rate, hence we got the lower 3rd floor and the noisy side of it. The hotel concierge is wonderfully helpful in guiding us with our itinerary. And the best part and had always been the highlight of our 4 night stay is the breakfast buffet (great food selection with variety of choices) and an EXCELLENT wait staff greeting you lively and catering to your needs throughout your meal. I want to shout out the Filipino lady (sorry I forgot her name) who in my opinion is the epitome of customer service. I believe all hotel chains should employ someone like her not only to work in the front line but to TRAIN all those who will be working in hospitality business. I will book and stay at this hotel over and over, even if it’s far from the city center and even if we got the not so good room just because of the likes of her. Unfortunately, the room and the location is pretty much constant while having the chance to encounter the likes of her varies.

Stayed here two nights as an evaluation of several local properties in preparation for brining Canadian customers to the city in the spring. Of all the properties in this star and price range I saw - this one was by far the best. The space in the rooms was wonderful, the amenities great and the rooms felt comfortable yet modern. Service was awesome, specifically Per, who was gracious enough to take the time to show me several room options and available amenities. I look forward to bringing customers back in the spring. Location is in Zurich’s west end, not a short walk to city center, but is close to train stations and transit. I didn’t find the transit noise disruptive at all during my stay. Only a short walk to the river and great trails/paths to explore.

It's a standard hotel. Feels upscale but sterile. The electric kettle didn't work in the room and asked for it to be replaced a few times with no success. The restaurant attached is really expensive for what you get. Lounging spaces outside the room aren't particularly comfortable. It's got convenient parking and is relatively close to the Main Train Station and Subway stops. Getting around Zürich from here is easy. The bar is nice and cozy and the bartender Sayed is great!

Update to below statement two days later. For the last night they managed to fix the noise issue and the broken drawer escalating it the second time. Also offered to change room for one night if I want that. Which is good, I expect that as a base from a 4* hotel. Still here and there a few things was broken in that room. ----------------- So far the worst experience ever and still ongoing (two more nightmarish nights). Room 908 avoid that. In each and every minute there is a loud buzzing noise for 3-5 seconds. Impossible to sleep because of that. Reception: cannot move me because fully booked. But it is probably just the air-conditioner. Okay then send someone up (10PM) to check (why do I need to insist to make that happen??). Someone came, heard the noise, nodded indeed something is wrong and then just gone, it was an hour ago. No call on the phone no nothing. I guess he is not coming back. Broken drawer in the cabinet as well, with lot of dust in it. It is a huge disappointment. I wish I booked other hotel.

This hotel was picked and booked by Viking cruises for us. Check in was fast. Hotel is modern and nice. Breakfast is extensive and good. Tried to go to the fitness room but key would not work and room was empty. Had dinner at restaurant in hotel and food was good. Train stop to downtown is right out front so very convenient. Overall we like the place and would return. Can’t comment on housekeeping as we chose not to get our room cleaned.

Stayed here in November. Just now catching up on reviews. I have to say probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed! The recognized my status from the start and upgraded my room. The room was amazing. Probably the best Sheraton I’ve stated. A lil off of the path from the speed of downtown, but the bus is literally right outside the door. This place made me feel welcome from the beginning. From the breakfast in the morning, and the gentleman remembering my omelet order, to the concierge in the evening in the m club. Hospitality isn’t lacking, and the convenience to a bus is why I’ll stay here again next time I head to Switzerland. Can’t post photos as on my phone and can’t go back to November to post them.

Easy tram ride to Historic Area. Good included breakfast. Room was dirty, smelly and poorly maintained. The bathroom smelled like an open sewer for two days. The TV, phone and air conditioning did not work. There was no hand soap in the room. The privacy curtains fell from the track when I opened them. We found 3 blueberries on the floor the first day. Housekeeping failed to clean them on the two following days. The elevator walls and doors had not been cleaned in months. Viking Cruises should remove this hotel from their list.

The building is nice and the location is right by a tram stop so about 15 mins and 4:40 CHF to get into the heart of the city. The price is quite high, even for Switzerland, as the hotel is starting to show its age. There were curtains that were not on their rails and stains on the carpet - along with dirty windows and shutters. The reason I am going to give it only 3* is because of the service v prices. I stayed for a week and for half the week there was no shower gel (they did not refill the dispenser) and also one day they mysteriously took our bath robes and when we called to get them back they never delivered them. Also, when we asked for some milk for tea and coffee they bought some up for us, but with a stern warning that we had to pay for it next time. Generally the staff were good, and I think it was my high expectations that mean the relatively low score.

Want to give this one a 4.5 but am rounding up for the sake of the staff. The rooms are very comfortable, but in need of a refresh. The motor for the blinds on one of my windows stopped working. Staff is great, and the club lounge is very comfortable and well stocked. Tram station right in front of the hotel makes up for the location in the city’s western business district, away from the Altstadt and main train station. Coop a block away was very convenient. Definitely recommended.

Good room size but it’s not a proper suit. I think the service is good since I just stay 1 night. I don’t like the location, it’s bit far from city and it’s next to the train station.

Nice room, elevated train just outside my window, easy to wake up to it. Towels were not changed, somewhat grossed out. Decent location, indifferent service, very expensive for what you get.

We had a somewhat neutral experience but we compared to our experiences in Geneva and Montreux, and, indeed, Sheraton Zurich was not really great. Service upon check-in needs to be revised as no one acknowledged us when we arrived nor invited us to check-in. The room was not clean as per Marriott standards, as we found a dirty towel and bottle in the closet from another guest. The way they tuck the bed in halfway is a disastrous way of making the bed and the duvet was dirty. The plug near the coffee machine was broken and so was a part of the shower. The window could not be closed entirely unless we barged on it. The hotel is clearly old, without a soul, and in serious need of housekeeping training. Even when I noted the cleanliness issue at the front desk, the housekeeper did not rectify this when they came to clean our room during the stay. Previous guest's dirty towel and bottle were still in the closet. Hotel is conveniently located, but no public transportation offerred for guests like other cities. :( Now for the good part, we have to acknowledge Jennifer at the bar. THANK YOU so much for you wonderful service! That is the true Marriott experience and she made our stay much more enjoyable! The burgers were great too so thanks to the cooks. Your Food & Beverage team seems on-point ;)

I have stayed in Sheraton before, but this place in Zurich was actually disappointing. For what we are paying I might as well stayed at Airbnb and saved me money. The room was facing on the train tracks. So it was noisy. The rooms are not clean even when they cleaned it was still not clean (Cleanners looked tired understaff maybe) . I don’t think they vacuumed at all and we stayed here for a few days, what a waiste of money. Now Breakfast wellllll, it was boring minimum selections. Nothing that you will remember The lettuce that was the only green thing available was not fresh, there wasn’t enough selection of things to eat. Fruit salad don’t even eat it, it was old not even once but many times. Not sure who runs the breakfast service but this was the most dullest , breakfast selections I have ever seen. We are in Switzerland put some great selections of cheeses.., not 3 types where looks like any other buffet breakfast… indulge your guests with variety of fruits and vegetables, have different type of meats, have an edge like bit out of the box creativity. Breakfast is important for many people give your guests the wow factor. Be generous with it. Anyways I have read most of the reviews even if the management responds nothing is getting fixed. So don’t bother looks like it’s a lost case. All I can say don’t waist your money. Did not expect this type of service in Switzerland Zurich @ the Sheraton. What a disappointing way to end our trip. Never booking at The Sheraton again. This is not luxury.

We had a good stay here. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath and a shower. We had club room access, which was good. It served a small amount of food and wine and beer. The location is only 10-12 mins from the train station if you use the trams.

I have stayed many times and they recently changed their WiFi. Horrible WiFi!!! I spoke to the front desk to have a tech look at it. Nothing changed. I told them I’d change rooms to have better WiFi. No follow up, no change. I work through the night with California and don’t want to pay for a hotel when I have to sit in the business lounge computers on zoom… what’s the point of a hotel room!?!?! Very upset to see this change for the worse. Need to have reliable WiFi. It’s 2023!

Would have been 5 stars apart from the lack of cleaning Impressed with the customer service overall but Markus and the FnB team stole the show with their customer focus and service. The Club Lounge was at least open 6.30am-11pm and I worked up there for most of the time at the hotel because they had the usual free flow coffee/soft drinks but no beers/wines or food which they kindly gave me a voucher for to compensate each day (which I note they have now removed from their website after my visit!). The voucher didn't make up for the same amount that I had to spend to get the same number of drinks/food I would usually in the lounge but it was a start at least! The gym is excellent and 24/7. The location is superb being next to the tram which got us all over central Zurich and the lake quickly as traffic in Zurich is a night mare by cab/uber. Our suite was stunning in size and light. The only downside to this hotel is that they have no cleaners. 5 of the days that we were there they didn't clean our room. When we asked why they said that they couldn't get any cleaners! This is Sheraton owned by Marriott, the largest hotel chain in the world with more than a dozen properties in Zurich, how can they not get any cleaners? Also when the cleaners did come the quality of the cleaning varied widely. Plus they often didn't take away rubbish or replace coffee capsules. One day they removed all my glasses which I had bought to use for drinks on our European tour! Even though the glasses were clearly not from the hotel and they were clean! We eventually got them back but I was stunned that they didn't clean up the bins and left empty cups and yet took my glasses away! However this should not darken over view overall as we had an excellent time here and the front desk helped with wife relocating her lost luggage for example. Just need to sort out the cleaning!

Location was great Concierge staff were very nice and helpful. Buffet breakfast was ok. Room size is good but room not cleaned properly. Floors are dirty in the rooms and dust everywhere. For a reputable name like Sheraton I was disappointed with the above issues. Another problem the air-conditioning. Very hot rooms. Cannot turn the air-conditioning down.can not open windows as it causes the air-conditioning to shut down.

A pleasant stay for two nights at the tail end of our trip. We were able to use my membership and get suite upgrades to the executive suite. It was massive, spacious and amazing, with some decent views outside of the cranes doing construction across the street. We opted for free breakfast as part of my membership check-in perks. The breakfast was DELICIOUS, with lots of options from fresh fruits, breads and pastries, cereals, hot bar items of eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausages, etc. They even let you order a custom omelette. The coffee brought to the table was full of flavor and just the right temperature. The staff from check-in through checkout were top notch in service, kind and welcoming. The only downside is there's not a lot of restaurants nearby, but it was easy enough to get to using the 4 tram.

We stayed there recently and everything was good, rooms are comfortable, clean and of good size. Ne thing that I dont like is breakfast; we are Muslims and eat Halal food only; everyday food that we wanted to eat was finished and they didnt refill it. Staying in good hotel and after paying for breakfast I dont accept empty dishes and that too when breakfast time is not over.

This was a great hotel stay during our last night in Switzerland/Zurich. The hotel is not in the main city center (about a 30 minute walk from the Hbf station or 12-15 min by street car which the station is right outside the hotel). Hotel check in was the only complaint as it took quite a while with only one person helping. However we got upgraded to an executive suite as part of the Marriott Bonvoy program on the 9th floor. The room was very spacious which included a sitting area, desk, spacious bathroom with separate shower/bathtub, a king bed, and a half bath near the entrance. Club lounge was also included. They had some food around 6-8 pm which was pretty good (it was like dinner for us). Continental breakfast wasn’t offered in the lounge during our stay so instead they allowed us to have breakfast in the main restaurant in the lobby. It was a good spread with make your own omelette, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and pastries in addition to meat/cheese spread. Overall our stay here was great! With using Bonvoy points it was around 32k points making it one of the more affordable hotels in Zurich. However you are not in the main city center so if you’re okay with taking public transportation (or walking) to the main Zurich sites, then this would be the perfect hotel stay for you.

Great hotel within a 10-15min drive from the city center. There’s a tram stop right outside the hotel so, public transportation is quite accessible. The rooms were well designed, comfortable and elegant. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and offered a lot of guidance for exploring Zurich. their breakfast menu had both hot and cold bar which was quite good

A very nice hotel excellent Scandinavian style rooms with very friendly staff. They were Johnny on the spot by loaning us plug in converters when we brought the wrong ones. The restaurant is nice and the breakfast was wonderful. A broad selection of the usual breakfast fare of pancakes (they were cold for some reason), eggs, good bacon etc. The best fare though was the vast collection of pastries, cold cuts, olives, cheeses and cottage cheese as well as a broad selection of breads. I loved their French style loaves that I could cut to my taste and put through a motorized toaster. Yum.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and modern. It’s nice that there are still hotels that provide daily room cleaning, slippers, robs and shoe shiner. Hotels in USA are so far behind. Beyond the comfortable room, the service was super friendly. At the restaurant, the treatment was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back to Sheraton on future business trips.

We booked this hotel in a pinch after our flight was cancelled and we were left stranded at the airport. Previous hotels confirmed booking then cancelled upon arrival. We arrived at this hotel desperate, exhausted, and without any of our belongings, but the concierge was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Specifically, Per, the wonderful gentleman who checked us in, went above and beyond in his generosity and compassion for our situation. I cannot thank him enough for helping in such a time of need.

Modern building in an upcoming area. Very well located. The tram stop is almost opposite. A museum and Migros market is nearby. The Sheraton itself was very well designed and have comfortable rooms. My room had an enormous bed. So comfortable. Electric window shutters, a sun bed, and a wet room. I loved those features. Breakfast was really well stocked and above all, i was looked after by the most charming waitresses. I didn't have lunch or dinner there, but the display cabinet had chilled fresh meat on display, it will probably tasty amazing when cooked and served. The reception is not far behind this great experience as I was treated like a family member and they took time to listen and give good advices on traveling into town. A bar/coffee shop is also inside with outside tables.

We stayed in this hotel for one evening, very impressive about their service. The Manager Pierre Schwartz shows the great help and support to us. We shared with him about the top bed sheet was not in place next morning, Pierre apologized and treated us a free breakfast. The staff Simon Norris is also very helpful when we checked in the late evening. This is a very comfy and nice hotel, though the location is a bit distance from the downtown area. We will stay in this hotel in our next visit to Zurich.
