We
were
there
on
a
last-minute,
weekend
getaway
on
my
birthday.
Most
Germans
won't
necessarily
look
across
the
Swiss
border
for
bargains
when
visiting
Lake
Constance.
Since
it
was
last
minute
and
I
didn't
feel
like
investing
additional
energy
into
finding
good
restaurants
and
making
reservations,
I
was
looking
for
a
package
deal
in
a
hotel
with
a
good
restaurant,
whether
on
the
German
or
Swiss
side
of
the
border.
I
have
to
say,
the
excellent
reviews
regarding
the
food
did
not
disappoint.
We
had
a
3
course
dinner
the
first
night,
and
a
4
course
meal
with
wine
pairings
the
second
--
my
wife
and
I
enjoyed
every
course,
and
the
service
was
excellent
as
well.
And
in
the
end
it
would
have
been
at
least
difficult
--
at
least
at
the
last
minute
--
to
find
something
comparable
at
that
price
and
with
such
great
food
and
service.
