Chill but cute hike. Very doable in an hour or so. The statue is incredibile, and the view from the top is very nice as well. Recommended.

Hiking with stunning view as well as pilgrims program. Start from parking space, hiking from chemins de La Croix (station of the cross) until find the big statue.

Steep walking worth the climb. The view from the top is spectacular and the small Catholic chapel touching. There is a lot of sentiment in a fairly limited physical space. Gloria in excelsis Deo

With only 1.3 km from the neighbouring village of Lens, the hike is not very long, but still challenging with 118 meters to climb. You can approach the statue by walking uphill through the 14 stations of The Way of the Cross where you progressively discover the Statue and on the other side sights on Montana and the Rhône Valley. For the descent I suggest using the marked trail which leads back to Lens through the forest, with nice views over the Valley

A wonderful walk up through beautiful trees bring you to the statue and little chapel. The walk is managed in strong trainers, some parts are steep and a good sense of balance is needed. Thé rock underfoot can be a bit slippery, but all ages should be able to manage the walk. Well worth it. Next time we’ll take a picnic and pause in the meadow at the base of the forest trail.

A serious uphill hike but well worth it. Walk along the old bisse from Iconge to make it even more special

A magnificent statue in the middle of the Swiss Alps with a 360-degree panoramic view... what more could you ask? They trail up to it is so relaxing, and they have 12 “stations” detailing the story of Christ’s resurrection.
