Lovely place to stop for lunch, even in the rain with its covered terrace and blankets. The VEGAN soup was super tasty, good to see they have other vegan and veggie options on their dinner menu

I have just had a wonderful weeks ski break with my family in this cosy family owned hotel. The hotel is spotless and the welcome, superb. The wildlife photos found on all floor landings (taken by the owner Aurel Salamin) are quite incredible and give an amazing insight into the fauna that lives in the beautiful & unspoilt Val D'anniviers. We will definitely return again soon! Thank you The Taylor family

Pretty and charming hotel in Grimentz. Rooms were large and perfectly clean. The soap and toilet paper dispensers felt cheap and could be improved to maintain the charm of the place. The restaurant was very good too. Pricey but reasonable considering how remote it is. The tables are a bit tight though. Family place. The location is perfect. A short walk to the lifts and in the entrance to the town. Staff was friendly too.

My wife and I, stayed for four nights in late Jan/early Feb 2020, including my birthday. We recommend the Hôtel de Moiry without reservation. You must have raclette at least once. Genuine hospitality and a great location.

Good cappuccinos, lovely view, friendly staff. Check out the pottery made by the owner’s wife. She makes all of the ceramic dishes used in the restaurant.

A beautiful little hotel which is the perfect base for exploring the valley, often quoted as one of the most beautiful in the Alps. The peace and calm of the cozy wooden rooms makes for fantastic sleep in the coldest winter bust also the warmest summer. The owners have a history of mountaineering and many great stories to tell. Particularly excellent is the food and wine selection. For anyone searching for authentic and fantastic swiss food, this is the place to go! Particularly excellent is the raclette directly from the wood-fire paired with the house-fendant white wine. With the view and athmosphere... Unbeatable. There are no downsides to this great little place.

We had a great time at Hôtel de Moiry! Our very cosy room with the balcony was very much appreciated. The dinner at the Restaurant de Moiry was absolutely fabulous as well - they did not mind adjust the menu to my vegetarian request and was very helpful with the choice of wine for the dinner. As we were travelling as the part of the Tour Val d'Anniviers, we also got a picnic - an advantage of Hôtel de Moiry that we could choose what should be included into the picnic ourselves. The only drawback - no croissants or pain du chocolate for the breakfast. We would like to thank to Lucile who was very helpful during our stay!

Lovely restaurant with authentic food a bit pricey.

Only visited the restaurant but the restaurant was like eating at a 5-star restaurant! A mix of unique herbs from the Swiss alps and sauces plus a delicious vegan Chanterelle mushroom option! Chef Antoine is amazing and is a credit to the area as a 30 year resident of Grimentz!

Great location in the heart of Grimentz. Wonderful service. Clean comfortable and cutely decorated rooms. Our stay was short but very enjoyable.
