Perfect for the family - beach chairs, sand toys, diving board all free, nice sandy strip of beach, not too crowded when we went, perfect swim spot. Check it out!

This is such a chill place, on the Gambarogno side of Lago Maggiore, across from Ascona and Locarno. Free umbrellas and lawn chairs. Ping-pong table on the sand beach. Diving board. Changing room. Free entrance, happy music and happy people. Mexican food and beers. The tacos al pastor look nice, will have to try them next time. We got the nachos. Chips and guac were nice, but they should rather serve them with home made pico de gallo, instead of store bought salsa. The cheese needs to be changed too as it was melted into one piece and hard to separate with the chips. Regardless, we will be back to this hidden gem.

Great tacos, super friendly owners, and very Alcapulco/Cancun-ish vibe. We really enjoyed this place!

Stopped by completely by chance and surprised to discover an authentic Mexican restaurant and beach here of all places. Both beer and food are hard to find and worth a try!

Do yourself a favor! When in the Locarno area skip the other lidos and head straight to Casa Iguana across the lake (mini lido.) The warmth, the food, the music, you can't beat it, my favorite lido in Switzerland. Order yourself a cold Pacifico and some tacos (most authentic in CH) and feel the time slow down. André, Claudia and their family really make you feel at home. Truly an excellent experience. Hasta la próxima mi gente!
