Great lakeside location, but I'll never eat there again. The meat in our burgers were barely cooked, and the staff were so busy, they really didn't care. I DID complain, but the waiter just took away my plate, and was never seen again. TWO DAYS LATER... The manager of Le Carre has seen my review (and the photo of their uncooked food) on Google, and genuinely looked me up on Facebook, just so that he could send me a Facebook message telling me "Please never comme [sic] back to my place!" Unbelievable. This was a genuine complaint from a paying customer, with proof of how bad the food was... and that was the management's response. You have been warned.

very very bad restaurant , i dont recommended to anyone to go, the burgers very bad, the bread was very crispy like frozen and make it hot in microwave… i show the waitress after she dosent took my plate to change she give me other bread …. the beef of the burger was raw , i got sick all the night , throwing up and Diarrhea, its big shame on the chef😡

Worst experience in Vevey .. waitress took our order and never came back to check in on our table. It took over 45 min to get our food .. and it wasn’t very good. Would not recommend wasting your time here.

It is very lively and right on the lake. There is a lot of open seating and indoor seating as well. Sometimes there are street performers too. It is very close to vevey marche parking, which is huge so you will find parking. The staff was very polite. They spoke English and French. It is advisable to book a table.

In the past, I was a big fan of this restaurant - I like the location and the food and service was pretty good. My experience last week was horrible, and this was mostly due to the service. The staff were inattentive, poorly trained, and came across as incompetent. Anytime something could be done wrong, it was. It became a comedy. I would like to go back, but I will not unless the restaurant works on its service.

Beautiful outdoor spot on the lake, but the food is horrible - of such bad quality (both in preparation and the ingredients themselves) that almost everything is inedible.

The food at the restaurant was ok, the proces arę jot elevated. We recommend trying Burger as it is a place’s special. The extra plus of this place is that the kitchen is open all day long so you can eat dinner any time you want

Location: I am surprised it’s hygiene compliant, smell of mould everywhere and you can’t almost seat on the chairs due to the good spread on it. Food was awful. Frozen bread and the meat was tasteless. Service and bottled water was good though.

The restaurant is good, the staff are very nice and the food it good but I don’t like the rice the flavour is not good

Nice bar at the lakeshore with drinks and food and a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains. Variety of drinks available and some Belgian dishes. Prices are quite high for the food compared to other restaurants along the lake.

We had a great experience here, the staff were very pleasant, I am gluten intolerant, and my husband and I are both Vegan.. we were very well looked after and the food was great.

Nice location but other than that nothing else. Very dirty and low quality food and drinks. They never clean the tables and the toilettes probably the worst and dirtiest I have ever seen.

Nice place to stop. The view is just amazing (from the terrasse and the lake) The food is good (salmon and vegetarian burgers), the staff too. We had to wait a long time before the food came.

We had the plat du jour with a salad 🥗 as entree with a salad a main?? Burnt cheese balls! was inedible. We gave it back. Horrible food. Bad combinations of ingredients. I’m already starting to feel stomach pain after eating a few bites. Avoid this place.

The vegan burger was 4 stars. The fish and chips were 1 star. The fish was like jerky- dry and hard. The view is 5 stars. It averages to 3 stars.

This cafe has a front side overlooking the lake and one out the back by the fountain. Both nice places to sit. On busy days service can be a bit slow and prices due to location are quite high even by Vevey standards.

The Bar is located directly at the lakeside. We had a nice sunset with a good Aperol Spritz and Burger. It was quite cold outside at the terrace with windows but a not really working heating system…
