Great place to spend an afternoon! The admittance fee is 15.- and they accept credit/debit cards or cash. Remember to bring a jacket though as it can be quite cold in the caves and you may get wet... Press on all the blue flashing buttons to activate a light show, or more ;) Also, if it's nice out and you like hiking, there's a small nature trail just by the entrance!

Great caves to visit also with kids. The caves are large and the walkways are on concrete, on bridges or stairs. The attraction can be viewed using a specific app that provide a commentary on the various Chambers. Really an innovative way to walk through the grottes. The app runs in various languages and provides a brief spoken commentary, while also more background can be read. At the entrance there are exhibitions of precious stones as well is their a fromagery. The grottes are impressive sue to its long length and the big Chambers, the largest named the cathedral. Worth a visit is you are in the neighbourhood.

These caves are well illuminated with well maintained path and beautiful rock formations. The small fairy treasure exhibit at the exit is good too. A light jacket and a footwear with grip is recommended for the cool temperatures and slippery path in between. We reached the caves using public transport from Geneva and it was quite convenient. One has to take care of the hourly bus frequency from the train station to the caves of Vallorbe. These are definitely worth a visit.

An amazing experience and probably amongst my top 3 experiences in Switzerland till date. If you are not afraid of slightly cramped spaces and subterranean tunnels, you will be awed by the Vallorbe Grotte. You see basically everything related to caving with stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, caverns, underground ponds, lakes and rivers. You will walk through the largest subterranean river in central Europe! And the final light and sound show at the 'Cathedral' was wow. Please note that it is really cold inside so a light jacket is recommended. There is a food and curio shop at the entrance which is quite nice. You can also spend time at the river outside and enjoy a picnic on the banks. Must visit!

Beautiful cave and you can walk through it without a guide. Download the app and have your audio guide ready. Very nice extra collection of rare minerals displayed just before you exit the cave . We were inside for 70 minutes with our 2 children. Only downside is the price. 44 CHF is pretty high for the trip

Undoubtedly, one of the most spectacular caves we've seen so far.

Amazing place. I was super lucky to be completely alone during the whole 1,5-hour visit (Wednesday morning). It was truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommend it

This is THE ultimate cave experience. There is even a sound and light show in the largest of the rooms, as big as a cathedral. Young or mature, get your tickets and don’t miss out on this place

Awesome place! Nature is so brautifil and powerfull. You can feel very small inside the cave. You just have to see it at your very own eyes. Moreover you can buy very good cheese there.

Beautiful area to go with kids & friends. We went on a rainy day and there was construction around the area. Nevertheless, the caves were opened and we enjoyed them a lot. The entire activity can take around an hour as, apart from the indoor walk, visitors can also see a collection of rocks from all over the world. Lastly, there’s a room in the caves were the cheese is kept and near the tickets offices you can buy a piece of those cheeses. Highly recommended as they are so delicious.
