I was discharged on the same day & went home, 2 days later I had heavy bleeding & pain, so I called the USZ to get an opinion on whether I had to go into an emergency. I was then forwarded several times until I was finally able to speak to someone, the lady took the phone ap with 'what is' I was a little shocked anyway I explained my problem, she kept interrupting me & said I should speak faster, she has no time. Well then we stayed so that I should decide for myself whether I want / have to come, but I have to expect to wait a very long time until my turn comes. After this phone call, I got a second opinion in another hospital and received help. After my recovery I reported to the USZ and described my experience, they gave me an email address when I should contact, of course I did. I never received any feedback, so after years as a patient in the USZ I asked for my documents & changed the hospital. From the doctors to all the secretaries who put me off at the time, as well as the person in charge who read my email last year, I think it's a very, very poor performance. I will never again do an examination in the USZ. (Original) Habe mir lange überlegt diese Rezension zu schreiben & mich jetzt dafür entschieden. Ich war jahrelang Patientin in der Gynäkologie im USZ. War auch lange zufrieden bis mitte letzen Jahres. Ich wurde Operiert alles schön und gut nach der Operation fragte mich die Ärtzin ob ich interesse hätte bei einer Krebsstudie mitzumachen, dies lehnte ich ap mit der Begründung das man noch nicht wisse im welchem Stadium mein Krebs sei & wenn ich glück hätte komm ich über eine Chemotherapie davon. Die Ärztin sagte mir man wisse ja nie wie es abläuft, okey manche Ärzte haben kein Feingefühl jedem das seine. Ich wurde am gleichen Tag noch entlassen & ging nachhause, 2 tage später hatte ich starke blutungen & schmerzen deshalb rief ich im USZ an um eine Meinung einzuholen ob ich in den Notfall müsse. Ich wurde daraufhin mehrmals weitergeleitet bis entlich mit jemandem sprechen konnte, die Dame nahm das Telefon ap mit 'was ist' ich war ein wenig schockiert trotzdem erklärte ich mein problem, sie unterbrach mich immer wieder & sagte ich soll schneller sprechen sie habe keine Zeit. Naja wir sind dan so verblieben das ich selbst entscheiden soll ob ich kommen will/muss, ich müsse aber damit rechnen sehr lange zu warten bis ich an die Reihe komme. Ich habe mir nach diesem Telefonat in einem anderen Spital eine zweitmeinung geholt & hilfe erhalten. Nach meiner Genesung meldete ich mich beim USZ & schilderte meine Erfahrung, darauf hin gab man mir eine E-Mail-Adresse an wenn ich mich wenden solle, dies tat ich natürlich. Ich habe nie eine Rückmeldung erhalten, deshalb habe ich nach Jahren als Patientin im USZ meine Unterlagen verlangt & den Spital gewechselt. Ich finde es von den Ärtzen bis zu allen Sekräterinen die mich damals vertrösteten wie auch von der zuständigen Person die mein E-Mail letzes Jahr gelesen hat eine sehr sehr schwache Leistung. Niewieder werde ich einen Untersuch im USZ vornehmen.

    This hospital is too big and too important to take care of all its clients. You're just a number here, and not a priority (as I was told many times during my 4 day stay). I decided to have my baby here because of their stellar reputation. Unfortunately, I decided against having my baby at this hospital on the last minute due to the terrible experience I had when coming for check-ups as well as when I was in the prenatal ward. The staff are condescending, impersonal, physically rough (when examining you) and too busy to actually take care of you. Unless you have some serious or rare condition that needs special treatment, i would not recommend this place. Ever.

Das Verhalten der Krankenschwestern war nicht hilfsbereit und erst hilfsbereit, als ich laut geworden bin. Ist es wirklich nötig laut zu werden um etwas zu bekommen? Mein Fazit : stellt Menschen mit ein wenig mehr Empathie bei der Anmeldung ein! Die Untersuche von dem Pflege und Ärtztepersonal war jedoch immer kompetent und zuverlässig.

    My gynecologist registered me for a method X procedure at the university hospital. Getting appointments was very quick and efficient. For the preliminary consultation for the procedure I had to do the usual procedure (urine, blood, etc.). Then I ended up seeing a nice doctor. But he told me about method Y and that they don't offer method X at all. I was completely confused. The preliminary discussion was terminated by mutual agreement. I contacted my gynecologist and she in turn contacted the doctor from the university hospital. This could have been solved when the case was registered and saved me the confusion and worry! In the end, I decided on method Y in consultation with the gynecologist and was able to continue the preliminary consultation the next day. But with a different doctor. He wasn't very empathetic.     Ich kam 10 min zu spät zum Termin bei Dr Ghisu da ich 30min beim Parkhaus warten musste und angerufen habe das ich mich verspäte aber niemand ging ran dafür haben sie mir abgesagt eis kalt! Dem Doktor ist es nicht wichtig eine Patientin auf Krebs Verdacht zu untersuchen sondern lieber die kurzen Termine einzuhalten

    Habe vor knapp 2 Jahren meinen Sohn in der Frauenklinik bekommen! Ich war vor der Geburt 1.5 Wochen in der Frauenklinik, weil ich einleiten musste! Hatte schlussendlich eine anstrengende, lange Geburt! Habe mich zu jedem Zeitpunkt ernstgenommen, wohl, sicher und gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Ein grosses Kompliment an alle Hebammen, Servicepersonal(immer freundliche) und Ärzte.

    We will never return here unless it's life-and-death emergencies. Since the split to the Airport, the administration has no clue what the other side is doing, they apparently don't see patient histories from each other, it's a total mess. Transfers from other hospitals take about a week as the scanning of letters takes place somewhere else. I've been given flat incorrect information about how to contact them as well. Doctors in the Campus have for the most part handled my wife like a robot, with zero empathy, sometimes missing actual medical skills for proper diagnoses. Go here if your issues are standard walk-in-the-park topics and you don't mind handled a little rough. In every other case, look for a different place in the city to have the TLC that everyone needs.

    Was now in the USZ for the second time because of an endometriosis operation. The first time was a disaster, but I was contacted by phone afterwards and my concerns were taken very seriously.
