Der
erste
telefonische
Termin
war
okey,
allerdings
hatte
die
Ärztin
wohl
ihre
letzten
Tage
in
der
Medbase.
Daher
wurde
ich,
für
die
Besprechung
meiner
Laborwerte,
von
einer
andern
Ärztin
angerufen.
Diese
hat
mir
mitgeteilt
das
mein
Blutzuckerwert
knapp
unterhalb
des
Prädiabetes-Wertes
liegt.
Ich
solle
meine
Ernährung
umstellen.
Ohne
zu
Fragen
ob
ich
nüchtern
war
oder
nicht
oder
ob
das
in
der
Familie
schon
mal
vorkam,
nix
wollte
sie
wissen!!
Mein
Urintest
hat
sie
nicht
erwähnt,
erst
auf
meine
Nachfrage
kam
eine
Antwort.
Und
die
Antwort
war:
"Wenn
sie
meine
Patientin
wären,
würde
ich
den
Urintest
nochmals
wiederholen".
Äähm,
ja
wessen
Patientin
bin
ich
denn
wohl
sonst??!!!
Nun
habe
ich
den
zweiten
Termin
für
den
Urintest
und
wollte
wissen
ob
ich
den
Bluzucker
nochmal
kontrollieren
sollte,
dieses
Mal
nüchtern.
Die
Ärztin
hat
daraufhin
schriftlich
der
Empfangsdame
eine
Notiz
hinterlassen,
das
meine
Werte
ja
im
Normalbereich
seien
und
eine
Kontrolle
nicht
nötig
sei.
Ich
bin
erschüttert,
wie
man
mit
mir
umgeht!!
Diabetes
ist
eine
ernste
Sache
und
ich
fühle
mich
nicht
kompetent
Beraten,
wie
ich
es
von
einem
Arzt
erwarten
würde.
Dieser
Betrieb
ist
riesig
und
anonym
und
ich
fühle
mich
überhaupt
nicht
gut
aufgehoben
und
werde
mir
eine
andere
Praxis
suchen.

The
first
telephone
appointment
was
ok,
but
the
doctor
probably
had
her
last
days
in
Medbase.
Therefore,
I
was
called
by
another
doctor
to
discuss
my
laboratory
values.
She
informed
me
that
my
blood
sugar
level
is
just
below
the
prediabetes
level.
I
should
change
my
diet.
Without
asking
if
I
was
sober
or
not
or
if
this
had
happened
in
the
family
before,
she
didn't
want
to
know
anything!!
My
urine
test
didn't
mention
it,
only
an
answer
came
when
I
asked.
And
the
answer
was,
"If
you
were
my
patient,
I
would
do
the
urine
test
again."
Umm,
yes,
whose
patient
am
I
then?!!!
Now
I
have
the
second
appointment
for
the
urine
test
and
wanted
to
know
if
I
should
check
my
blood
sugar
again,
this
time
on
an
empty
stomach.
The
doctor
then
left
a
note
in
writing
for
the
receptionist
that
my
values
were
in
the
normal
range
and
that
a
check
was
not
necessary.
I'm
shocked
at
how
they're
treating
me!!
Diabetes
is
a
serious
matter
and
I
don't
feel
as
competent
as
I
would
expect
from
a
doctor.
This
company
is
huge
and
anonymous
and
I
do
not
feel
that
I
am
in
good
hands
at
all
and
will
look
for
another
practice.
