The director does not keep these commitments and blocks you from all contact when you point this out to him... Very shady (doctor's personal opinion not reliable in these comments... he says everything and is contrary)

They write FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS, just check the profiles of people who had a good experience here. I didn't pay much attention to the negative reviews because there were also many positive (fake ones). I went there because I urgently needed to see a doctor and they received me the day after. No wonder why they often have availability for appointments when other gynecologists in Geneva are booked for months. Just bad service, long wait, not professional, very expensive treatments and old equipment (for magnetic resonances at least. The doctor never sent the results to his colleague who was treating me and he never gave me the video recording of the expensive study either, not professional at all). The gynecologist I saw, immediately said I needed surgery and sent me to do a magnetic resonance in their clinic. Of course I searched a 2nd opinion from a reliable gynecologist and she said surgery wasn't necessary. It was only then when I understood that the magnetic resonance wasn't necessary, they only did that to get more money. Check you bills because they also charge for all they can even if it's not legal... or for treatments you didn't receive. The worst experience ever, because I was so scared with their diagnosis, which ended up being nothing serious.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! This clinic is totally unprofessional and so disorganized. You walk in and feel you've arrived in a Yougoslavian clinic and not in clean professional Swiss clinic. The patient before me was furious as they had lost her file and my so to speak quick and easy COVID test took 45 minutes because the Dr. was in an emergency and they had no nurse to do the necessary testing!!!!!! Finally saw another Dr (an obstetrician) who did it for us which I had to pay cash straight away because he doesn't take credit cards!!!!! There are plenty of other places in Geneva and even if the Address looks very nice on their website and facade don't be fooled.

Terrible experience. I came to renew a prescription from a different practitioner. 20 minutes later, and after having difficulties writing the prescription as he was not familiar with those medication.. he asks for 220 CHF in cash! I refused to pay such an absurd amount, he tore the prescription and I left.

Not professional ! People walking around with no masks in the middle of a pandemic.. the so called doctor had no manners ! I didn't even see him desinfect his hands between the patient while doing pcr tests... So true avoid this place !!

Bad experience! I went to get a PCR since I was having COVID-19 alike symptoms. Dr Mohamed Darouichi was very rude and questioned my request to get tested. I received an invoice both for the PCR and the " medical consultation" when I didn't have a medical consultation at all- the Doctor didn't examined me but just took the sample for the PCR. I neither received the result form the PCR test. I called the establishment and they said they would call the doctor to ask him to send me the result. I never received anything. I'm planning to complain to the medical authorities.

The worst experience ever. Dr Dubuisson treated me very weird with very dirty attitude , but the main problem was that he didn’t detect the decease I had . He took all analyses , to make me pay as much as possible, and didn’t not mention anything about the problem which became worse later. When I went to another doctor 6 months later, the situation was already critical. Moreover the invoice is doubled, they charge even for that they have never done. I had to argue for the correction of the invoices, which they send even 5 months later after the visit. The cabinet is old, with the strange old equipment , and dust on the furniture.

I had an awful experience here, so much so, I've found it hard to write this until two years later and have blocked much of the experience from my memory. It really has made me afraid to trust doctors and health professionals again and I will always go on personal recommendations going forward. I went to the Institut when I wanted to get my birth control implant out of my left arm. It had gone further under the skin so eventually I had to be put under general anaesthesia by the hospital of Geneva to remove it. But the Institut was the first gynaecologist I went to for the removal, after mine had left Geneva. Firstly they didn't put enough anaesthesia so I felt everything. When they opened my skin, and poked around they both were looking over me panicked and really not putting me at ease. Whenever they could feel the implant with their tweezers they would proceed to pulling on it as hard as they could, ripping the tissues and causing immense pain. I have a high pain threshold and have never found myself screaming with pain in a doctors practice. Eventually, after lots of pain and stress on their faces, they stitched it back up (very poorly). I have bad scars still visible today, despite the hospital's best efforts to clean up their mess. The doctor told me to come back in two days and that he would "look it up on the internet". My arm became swollen, hard to touch and in pain. I rang another gynaecologist as I was too scared to return and something felt very wrong - they told me I should wait at least two weeks before trying again, otherwise the swelling would make it even worse. The new practice told me many people had come to see them after terrible experiences there. I really wish this place could be shut down and don't wish this experience on anyone. I was left traumatized by the experience and my following appointments I experienced vey calm, patient doctors, but I was so scared and scarred by the experience of the institut.

Avoid at all costs. I suspect I am not the only one. I Have spent my entire morning trying to get in contact with this facility after I received an invoice for a covid test I had already paid for. They have a call centre answering the phone that has no connection whatsoever to the company. All they can do is give you another phone number that doesn't answer.

Since August 2023 I have been asked to pay invoices that do not concern me. I have had to call 10 times and I continue to receive requests for payment for medical procedures that I did not perform. So I have come to contact legal assistance!

No one explain to you what to do the dr was 20 min late he did not had any other people in his room. And then at the end the walk you out and keep your insurance card as you do not have the 200chf CASH on you. Who have that money in them at all? Never again

Unsavory medical place… absolutely avoid

Worst possible medical center you can ever imagine. Useless GP, ignored all my symptoms, later suggested I might have a deeper concerning desease. Went to the specialist at the same place, useless again. Turns out it was nothing. Incredible waste of time money and energy.

Felt like in The Adams Family House!! Very disappointed & disappointing. Lack of respect and professionalism. Total disaster. Avoid at all costs.

This is a very good medical center. The staff is very kind and the workers very professional. I don't think people realise the amount of work, documents and clients the doctors have. It is very stressfull and the hours are super long, they often do overhours and extra paperwork on top after their shifts. When visiting you should take an appointment, don't be shocked if they can't take you without an appointements as the staff get very booked up.

I received invoices more than two years after my gynecological consultations with Prof. Jean-Bernard Dubuisson with services that I never received. After contacting the billing department to no avail, I contacted the front desk where the administrative staff are completely unprofessional. The contact email for their accounting department appearing on their invoices is false. No one answers the telephone number provided by reception. Even after three reminders, using the so-called "correct" email address, I never received any responses from them, however the reminders arrived without delay. The secretaries are clearly untrained and incompetent, as are all of the administrative services at this center. TO RUN!! PS: the link to their website takes you to a phishing site, don't click!!

Doctor never present I do not recommend in case of emergency.

I have been a patient at the Champel institute since 2014, I am completely satisfied with the service they offer. Particularly Dr Jovanovic who listens and is very professional, I recommend him if you are looking for a gynecologist in Geneva.
