We found this restaurant in Geneva while exploring on Google, wanting to try new type of cuisine. And it was worth every penny. Food was very delicious, full 5 stars. Service was prompt. Their reception is very polite and welcoming. A must visit place. Highly recommended.

At fall,we had a diner on the terrace. We chose two large pickup meals : one with food and the other one vegan. It is always a discovery of tastes and flavours as well a little trip to Ethiopia . The service was very welcoming and even the advised were somehow approximative on the choice on white wine, the food is awesome. I recommend

The food is very good and you definitely get an authentic experience! Make sure to book through "the Fork" to get 50% off. And don't forget to take a baklava for dessert (yes it also is an ethiopian speciality). Only point for improvement would be the wait time (1 hour to get served...)

I love this restaurant. I'm an American and I was looking for Vegan food. Unfortunately the days I visited Geneva the fully vegan restaurants in old town were closed. However Little Ethiopia Cafe was open. I love Ethiopian food so I was excited to try it. The restaurant has seating for many different amounts of people (tables for 2 and tables for groups). The hosts gave me a menu and I was so happy to learn they speak English because I still don't know French. The hosts also speak French, Spanish, and other languages I didn't know. The menu is in French, but with Google translate I was able to point to what I wanted so I got my carafe of water and the Yessimer Wot. It's a lentil dish that is my favorite at Ethiopian restaurants. Here it is very flavorful and the plate comes out with multiple sides of other vegetable dishes. It all tastes amazing. They also bring out a plate of the bread to eat with. It's so filling I don't have to eat the rest of the day! Afterwards I enjoyed a coffee. I eat at off times like 3pm so it wasn't busy, however closer to a normal dinner time they can be packed and a reservation is recommended. They have a full bar as well, but I don't drink. I recommend this place if you want a delicious and large vegan meal. My total came out to under 26 Franks and I think that is incredibly reasonable.

Excellent food, warm service, great value for money. I think it's the first time I felt I couldn't anymore as I'm too full (it's a new for me especially in Geneva). The owner was so kind, he offered another round of tea 'on the house'. Don't remember having such things here. Thankyou and definitely will visit again :)

Really tasty food. Me and my husband were having a lot of fun when eating with hands. Big plus for long opening hours and waiter who speaks english :)

This was a great surprise in Geneva, we were looking for something different to eat and this was our first time to try Ethiopian food, everything was delicious, we tried the "buffet" for 2 which was a lot to eat, the flavours and the food were very pleasant, the staff was super friendly, the only suggestion I have is to have a menu in English just in case someone like us come by, but the lady taking the orders and serving food was kind enough to explain about it. The menu has lots of options vegetarian, vegan and non-vegeterian, we tried the buffet for 2 which had one entrée, 4 'curry-like' dishes served in a huge pancake to be used as 'spoon' to eat and a dessert similar to a baklava, all of them were super tasty. If you are hungry and want something very unique and tasty this is the place to get it Pricing was good not too expensive not too cheap, considering Geneva is extremely expensive.

**Restaurant Review: Little Ethiopia** Having explored numerous Ethiopian restaurants in Geneva, Little Ethiopia stands out as an unparalleled gem. As an Ethiopian myself, I can confidently affirm that this restaurant offers the most authentic and delicious Ethiopian cuisine experience in the city. The ambiance effortlessly captures the essence of Ethiopia, while the menu boasts a tantalizing array of traditional dishes. What sets Little Ethiopia apart, beyond its remarkable food, is the attentive and knowledgeable owner, Mr. Solomon. His genuine interest in ensuring a memorable dining experience, coupled with his expertise in Ethiopian cuisine, elevated our visit. Mr. Solomon's guidance through the menu and his unwavering dedication to sharing the culture and flavors of Ethiopia made our visit unforgettable. Little Ethiopia isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where authenticity, flavor, and hospitality converge to create an unmatched dining experience in Geneva's Ethiopian culinary landscape.

We were looking for vegetarian options for dinner and found this restaurant on google maps. My first time trying Ethiopian food and the food was very good. Service could be a little better but was overall good. The portions are good and try their full set if you are two or more people. It’s also unlimited if you get it per person.

Amazing Ethiopian food in Geneva, highly recommend it. My friend and I shared the vegetarian platter (Mesob) and everything was delicious. Friendly service and very decent prices for Geneva.

We shared a plate for 3 with 4 people and it was a HUGE meal and so delicious and flavorful. The service is really friendly and attentive and we had a nice infused white tea after the food. I am only visiting Geneva for a few days but I think this is one of the best value for money food spots you can go for here!

The food was amazing here! I had the beef kitfo and it was very well prepared. However, the service was very slow and the drinks arrived way before the food.

Great place to grab a wholesome vegan meal. We opted for the mix of all vegan options and everything was tasty and healthy. Full of plant protein and veg. Long opening times, friendly staff, reasonable prices (55CHF for two).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Little Ethiopia Cafe Restaurant and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The baklava was especially good - definitely worth the wait! The only downside was the long waiting time, but it was worth it in the end. Highly recommend!

Nice introduction to Ethiopian food. Expensive however for what it was. Definitely better value getting a plate for one compared to the platter for 3.

The staff were so nice, the portions were amazing. The taste satisfied my soul. It was an evening well spent. Plus the staff were so nice, they gave us a complimentary full kettle or exquisite tea. Can’t recommended enough.

The Ethiopian food was delicious. Service was very attentive and personalized. We finished with baklava and Ethiopian coffee. The coffee was very smooth and was served following a traditional ceremony. We loved the overall experience and highly recommend this restaurant.

Spent a delightful dinner with colleagues on Saturday evening! The restaurant was smaller than I expected but cosy and welcoming. The owner was particularly kind and attentive to our needs, and walked us through the different foods. We chose the discovery meals to share, they're not too spiced and the best option to discover the main Ethiopian dishes. Finished off with traditional coffee and tea. Overall a great experience!

Amazing food, so many great flavors on one plate! Good place to go for a solo diner or to take a group of people. The service is the best, too. They were happy to make recommendations from the menu which I ordered and loved. Wish I could give 10 stars!

Super welcoming atmosphere and staff. I highly recommend the vegan injera menu, such a distinct and delicious selection. You may need a cinnamon spice tea to digest afterwards, which rounds out the evening perfectly.

An ecxellent replica of the rich ethioian cultural food and hospitality. It gives a glimpse of what Ethiopia could offer and encourage foreigners to visit the ancient land to discover more.

The dinner with my family here was amazing! Ethiopian food is very flavorful and they do it very well. Salomon, the owner, is also very friendly and kind, and gives an extra positive kick to the whole environment. They have great vegetarian options, wifi available and places to sit inside or on the street. Strongly recommend them!

We waited almost 2.5 hours for our food. This was a Saturday night and they were understaffed in the kitchen (I hope this is the explanation). Otherwise the food was great, presentation beautiful, staff was welcoming and friendly, love music was really cool, and prices were cheap. Would have given 5 stars if the wait was 30 minutes or less.

👍👍 Best pizza in town. Excellent dough. Many topping super tasty such as fior de latte or spicy sausages. Great pasta as well. Lots of choice of other italian dishes. Great desert such as canoli . Good barolo wine less than 50chf. On the downside the cocktail are not so good. The venue is noisy, don't...
