...Service is friendly and makes you feel welcome the atmosphere is vibrant and alive. Plenty of people watching and conversation going on. ...and then, there is the meat...we had dim sum variation to start then into a rack of Ribs and the classic tartare that was spiced well and presented beautifully the ribs were superb. A must go place if you enjoy eating drinking and enjoying a night out

We had the most beautiful experience here!!! For our fondue we sat in the 1950/1960 gondola which was an incredible experience, the food was delicious! We met the owner Marco who was absolutely lovely. We were celebrating my 31st birthday and when the owner learned this, he treated us to a gorgeous dessert with a spectacular sparkler and bubble presentation 🤩 - I did not expect this and it was so amazing!! And so sweet and kind of the restaurant. I completely recommend this restaurant- I wish I was so tired otherwise we would have stayed a lot longer to soak in the lovely atmosphere (and more food and drinks). Thank you again!!

This is a fantastic restaurant just outside of the old town that's very well known with the locals. We went for lunch and they had a set menu with various options available, including a vegetarian main course. All of the food is freshly prepared, even the bread which is a nice change. We would definitely return the next time we're in Thun!

Online menu doesn't reflect what's in the restaurant. Wanted burger and ribs. Burger no longer on the menu and they had no ribs. Service was also very slow.

We went there for lunch and it was so good that we went back at the same day for dinner. The restaurant is a bit off the track from Thun city attraction but walkable as we did from the train station and it was very nice to walk in the local neighborhood of the city. Great food and service with a wonderful team. Everything was delicious especially the ribs! Perfect place to eat when in Thun. Recommended!

Utterly worth taking the short walk out of the town centre to this great place. Staff were beyond friendly and welcoming and the food is a great mix of Asian and hearty meat dishes. We had some of the best dim sum ever - the green curry ones were truly memorable. Then the platter for 2 of flank steak and ribs (pictured). A comically generous portion that filled us up. Solid craft beer available too from the local area. It has that pub/bar feel with sports memorabilia dotted about and there was live Swiss football on too. The owner has really done a great job bringing his travels and experiences to the menu and creating probably the best place in Thun to eat and visit. Cannot recommend this enough.

yummy steak and juicy burger! one of the best restaurants!!!!

I was inspired by the good reviews (of course there always some out there who are never pleased). Our experience was awesome from the reservation, to be seated, order and eat. This is the best quality food we had while in Switzerland by a mile. We had spend equal amount of money for far less quality. And I would call this, the price is representing what you get and this is the way it should be. The staff was amazing and being also greeted by the owner and Chef ads to the ambience and shows that you as the customer are valued. The best part is that the Quartierbeiz 13 seems to be a local favorite which we always enjoy more because of the atmosphere and also for confirmation that this is a great place otherwise locals would not attend. We had as appetizers the Thai beef salad and the Berner beef tartare both were not only tasty but also good portions, as a tip, come hungry or order only the main. As a main we had the big Prawns, the 18 hour slow cooked ribs and the flank steak. Just delicious. We ad some pictures to make you hungry. Tip to the owner: the Menu link on Tripadvisor does not work. Recommendation to the owner: Do not change anything. We appreciate the effort which goes into making this restaurant in what it is and hope for many more return visits. This restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, cozy atmosphere and wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

This place is amazing! We were lucky enough to find it in our way to Berne. The staff is wonderful, the vibe is rad and the food is absolutely delicious! Don’t miss it- definitely stop in for a meal. You’ll love it!

Best service in all of Thun! We were greeted at the door by the owner and he actively rounded on all the tables throughout the night. He helped make excellent suggestion on food and drink and even shared his story of starting his restaurant. You can really tell he has a passion for food and making his customers happy!
