A very nice area for hikes. Start by exploring the gorge Wolfschlucht.

Oh my giddy aunt! What a place! Riding through this forest was the highlight of my visit to Switzerland. A tiny little asphalted (once upon a time) single track, that climbs up over the mountain and down the other side through dense arboreal forest, with lookout points along the way. Simply too beautiful to describe.

Look, the Solothurn local nature spot is a great walking area. Its quite narrow pitch from restaurant to restaurant, approximately one hour walking distance. The forests are rich and smell very good. A pleasure to be there, also cableway given and reachable by car

It s not well indicated so if you are a tourist you will hope to come across some people who knows the way. You will find a towel with a good view!

Nice area around the park. We are living in a Chalet nearby. Very real country side experience. Pleasant walks , little sun too. (20 May) . Can stay here or visit especially if you land at Basel.

Excellent hike, go to the local turist information to guide you since you will need a map or a good GPS. Tip: Buy some local gruyere cheese at the farm on the top. Only downside: its not super well connected via public transport.

Great place and wonderful service by this tourism office. I visited looking for suggestions on a route to bike. I was provided with a great couple of routes and advice on how to go about them, and they went out of their way to do so!
