First thing to note here: It's an expensive restaurant. Second thing to note: I don't think I've ever been so mad at the food while I'm eating it. It honestly feels like them disrespecting their own food. Starting from the good part because I'll rant for a quite bit later on. The service was the only thing that is carrying the score for me, which is quite sad to experience, I was guided to my table very nicely despite it being quite full. Coleslaw and french fries were alright but none of them fit to their price range. Now to the bad parts. Starting from the top, the buns were the lowest tier of buger buns i've ever had. very breakable. The patty was very hard to cut even with fork and knife. if you try to bite into it the whole burger just breaks apart as all the ingredients gets squeezed to the sides while the buns fall apart. You can clearly smell and see that the patty wasn't hand/home made, which is something I'd at least expect at a price range like this. The burger was actually worse than a 8$ fully industrialy processed burger i can buy from the street. None of the food outshined in any way and in total: burger+fries/coleslaw/a beer i paid over 54.- just to get disrespected by their food. I was there during dinner so you'd expect a lot people. But I didn't expect it to be louder than a McDonald's. It's as if they are trying to rush you away with this ambient so they can get more customers. I haven't tried their other meat variants yet but from what I saw the size is quite sad compared to the other restaurant i reviewed (Schindler Frohsinn) which is also meat focused, about the same price range. I don't plan on changing this rating nor do I plan on coming back again unless I'm forced to by family or friends, then I'll review again.

The food was quite underwhelming, especially for a steakhouse in Switzerland. The steaks lacked seasoning and wasn’t cooked to how I asked. The flavour of the meats were also just not great, and the cuts were rather unclean. The BBQ ribs were not presented very well and the flavour was not nice. The baked potatoes had too much sour cream but were nice apart from that. The salads were nice and fresh. The service was a mix, there was one waitress who was very rude and she seemed constantly annoyed. But there was also a waiter who was very polite and he was friendly.

Woooow… a super steak as it should be for a goood price with a super service! U definitely get for sure enough;) enjoy

Good steakhouse, their meat is tender and tasty. Service really depends on who is in charge of your table and can vary a lot.

Ok simple task , immediate star for wifi, with no hasels . Star for fantastic restrooms . Malbec wine just great. So thats 3 stars. I ordered the classic burger, as I don’t trust anyone to deliver the goods - so as a test I choose the simplest on the menu and work from there. I was kind of shocked to get a burger with no tomato or even a slice of onion? Is that normal ? Yes it is , I’m told. So just so its clear the picture of the burger is only for the burger with cheese, I’m told , there would be lush tomatoes and onions on it if you order the cheese burger . Ok whatever just looks bad is all I’m saying .... look at my pic to see the classic choice . But lets get to the taste : It’s fantastic! Great flavor, great bread, good fit in the hand.. all holds together really well. Next ill try the cheese burger and comment again. Should warn the peeps that the classic is very different to the picture right next to it. Anyway enough said - good place. HND/reviews

The steaks may be great, the burger isn't. It felt like a pressed industrial patty, nothing I would expect from a restaurant (at that price), especially not from a steakhouse. Also the bun, well... Service was totally fine and so was the ambiance. Burgers are just not worth it.

Was looking forward to a nice steak. Ordered the filetsteak, medium, at 59chf. Sent the first one back. It was chewy like stewing steak. The second was better but still poor quality. Service was good but overall a disappointing waste of time and money. I'm wishing I had refused to pay for it. Better steak at the place near the Rheincenter. Really good filet steak for the same price at Stadhof.

Excellent steaks, done as desired. Minestrone soup was “der Hammer”, the best I had actually, even though it’s not an Italian restaurant. Big plus for a birthday surprise done for our son 🥰

Good drinks, better food - the best staff!

I visited this restaurant 2 times and every time I really enjoy it. Staff are friendly and helpful at all times and very close to service you for everything you ask for, even the manager he is a very friendly guy, and he work with staff and make this place like everybody business. Food is GREAT, VERY, VERY GREAT, It's so delicious you just want to ask for more. Very BIG THANKS to the CHEFS. Place is really amazing, and it is very good for business meeting, birthday celebrations, friendly meeting, romantic dating.... It's excellent for everything, and it's really in a very good location. Went with office colleagues for lunch. Very nice ambient and service. Could explain a bit more or recommend, specially if you have not been to the place before.

We had our company Christmas party there. We were 70 people, the restaurant did everything to accommodate us perfectly. Everybody from the service was super nice. And the steaks were just amazing. All our 70 participants got it perfectly done on the minute. It was a very good vibe there. I can 100% recommend it and we will go there again.

We had the most wonderful evening - food was tasty, service was great. They made a celebration for our sons birthday. Highly recommended

Family and I went for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Service was friendly and quick. We all got the Swiss cheese burgers and they were excellent, one of the best in Europe we've had. The appetizers were excellent as well, if a bit pricey for the portions. The fries were the only thing I was mildly disappointed in. They were not bad, but they were more fast food style than restaurant style (I joked with my wife that they stole them from the McDonald's next door). Overall great experience.

Average place for steak or meet. The ribs could be better, the price for the steak was too hight for the quality.

Great food and friendly service. Best steak in a long time! There was a small problem with the dessert but they brought a new plate immediately and in addition didn’t charge us for coffee. We will be back soon 😀

Nice food, chill atmosphere.

We were there couple times in early July 2016, just next to Hotel Stucki. Excellent quality Steak beef! Good selections for lunch menu, beef salad has good quality, good sauce with good price. The best steak pepper we have had in life. Excellent service by staffs, always kind to us and kids, and offer kids gift/toy once finished the meal.

Ordered steak and it turned out too salty to eat. The steamed potato that came along with the steak was cold and tasteless. Also the waitress who served the table was rude and did not know the basic etiquette of serving a table….will definitely not be returning.
