An amazing cafe! Specializes in hot chocolates from around the world. The owner is very knowledgeable about the hot chocolates - like a hot chocolate sommelier! - and he spends time with his customers to help them appreciate what they are enjoying. Highly recommend!

The food is both healthy; tasty and quick (quinoa, lentils and chicken breast with masala sauce). I also had a very interesting flavored Kulfi ice cream. The service is very nice and attentive.

Really cozy place 5 mins away from Lausanne gare. They have amazing hot chocolate but also healthy meals (we had the soup and recommend it). The owners are super kind too, will visit again!

One of my favorite places in Lausanne. A charming place to enjoy among the best hot chocolates in the city, if not the region! A little daughter to its mothership in Morges, Balzac offers a wide range of deliciously peculiar chocolates, coffee, teas, smoothies and frappés. Refreshing by warm weather and heartwarming by cold weather. Welcoming and enthusiastic owner and staff that are passionate about their product. Definitely worth it!
