Discovered during an exhibition dedicated to Tintin, the museum allows you to get an idea of what was happening on Lake Geneva a long time ago. Life on boats as well as on land is very well represented through everyday objects. As for Tintin and Hergé, they found a place to showcase themselves.

A small museum in size, but large in the richness of its collections. We had a very comprehensive guide in its information, the short film is a plus. Only one regret, not having time to spend in the pearl room

Superb little museum! The models of old boats that once sailed on Lake Geneva are truly breathtaking. Everything is very well explained there. Not to be missed if you pass through St-Gingolph!

Dusty museum with many broken models. In total, 3 pieces at the museum dating from the 1950s..... obligatory temporary exhibition. All for 10€: too expensive! Additionally, the elevators are broken.

Very nice and interesting museum on local life, the history of St.-Gingolph. The history of the boats of Lake Geneva is well documented with models of carriages and boats made most of them by Gingolese attached to their history. Another part of the museum traces the evolution of the lake's steam navy, up to the present day with beautiful models and pieces from wise collections. In the same building is the Lake Geneva Pearl Museum, not to be missed either!
