Amazing beers, and a great place to visit if you're around!

Cool little place tucked well away from the public eye. A real insider place with its own brewery and tasty beers. Located in Renens, close to Lausanne it is mostly frequented by locals and after working hours.

Le Nebuleuse is a brewery with a very nice and lofty taproom incl. a terrasse which is amazing during the summer days. Very good and varied beers, although they might not have their entire catalog available in bottle and only a small selection on the taps, they often feature nearby breweries or one-time brews which is always enjoyable. Overall one of the top 3 if not the best local brewery around Lausanne. They are open to organize events, and as such it's good to call in advance if you're in town for a short time or a tourist because they may have an event going on when you plan to visit... most of the time they're not private, but if they have a cigare tasting event and you are bothered by that then tough luck, you can take the bus back downtown because there's nothing of the same caliber in the vicinity.

Amazing little place far away from crowd and hidden from the common eye. Cool option of beers owing to the fact that they have there own brewery. They also have live concerts by students around in town on Thursday’s. A must try!!

Nebuleuse is a true craft brewery located in the town of Renens, which is not difficult to reach by public transportation. The street address entrance is on the back side of a huge 3-story commerical building. From the ground floor take the elevator up to Floor 1 and follow the signs to the brewery tasting room. Inside, you’ll feel right at home in their small tasting room which has large windows that look onto the brewery floor. There is a short wooden bar with a few stools in front of their stainless steel tap tower with plain black tap handles. A chalkboard behind the bar lists their 8 house beers on tap, which are available by full or half pour. To the right of the bar is a refrigerator case with bottles of their beer for sale to go. You’ll be impressed by their diverse offering of styles, something for everyone. My favorites were their delicious hoppy IPA’s and Hefeweizen. The brewery logo is a blimp and can be seen repeatedly. The tasting room has a couple tables, a couch, foosball, a dartboard and eclectic background music. The atmosphere is cheerful and cozy. The floor is green tile, the walls are white and overhead are white sound panels under a high ceiling. The brewery itself has large stainless steel brewing vessels and a small overhead grain hopper. Looking back to the left you can see 4 midsize stainless steel fermenters, the hallmark of a dedicated brewery. They do not have a kitchen, so eat before you visit so you can take time to enjoy the beers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. It is an enjoyable, welcoming production brewery.
