On the train from Visp to Zermatt, take the left side seats, as the view is on this side. The station itself is conveniently next to Coop and Migros.

Be careful with your hand bags. 2 ladies just pushed me when boarding the train and found my hand bag pockets were opened. This was second time for me first time money was stolen.

Really nice connection, visp โžก๏ธ Zermatt, sit on the left side and thank me later ๐Ÿ˜‰ The Valais is known as the sun terrace of Switzerland and Visp enjoys around 300 days of sunshine a year. Lying at the foot of Europe's highest vineyard in the lowlands of Upper Valais, Visp is the starting point for holidays in an unforgettable natural and cultural setting.

Easy enough to navigate. WC on the bottom floor.

Needs more places to be able to sit for long changeovers. No cafe or spaces outdoors to sit, and the only sheltered space on the platform smells like urine. Add to that, there are very few non-sheltered benches on the platforms, definitely not enough.
