Contrary
to
popular
belief,
I
don't
think
this
place
is
heaven
on
earth
or
anything
like
that.
It's
certainly
a
great
place
to
train
Taekwondo,
but
it
has
its
flaws.
It's
a
pretty
tight
place
during
rush
hour,
with
lots
and
lots
of
newcomers
as
well,
and
the
newcomers,
aka
white-belts,
just
won't
stop
joining
the
dojo.
They
keep
coming,
they
keep
signing
membership-contracts
and
they
keep
expanding
the
total
number
of
members
each
and
every
time.
So
it's
getting
very
cramped
over
time,
to
the
point
where
you
cannot
even
extend
your
leg
fully
when
kicking
straight
ahead.
To
your
right,
left,
front
and
back
a
person
or
a
wall,
you'll
find
yourself
constantly
touching
your
comrades.
And
at
the
start
of
every
exercise,
you
need
to
position
yourself
correctly
so
you
don't
hit
anybody
while
doing
the
exercises.
While
I
understand
that
we
all
need
to
compromise
even
a
little
bit,
it's
tiring
and
EXTREMELY
tedious
to
keep
a
heads
out
for
your
immediate
neighbors,
EVERY
TIME
you
switch
exercises!
Just
because
I
don't
want
to
touch
their
hands
while
doing
a
jumping
jack
or
any
other
exercises.
It's
pretty
expensive
as
well,
but
what
did
you
expect?
Also,
there
are
too
many
women
there.
It's
like,
no,
I
don't
want
to
practice
this
newly
learned
roundhouse-kick
on
this
little
girl,
I
don't
care
what
anyone
says,
we're
NOT
the
same,
us
men
and
women.
Sparing
with
a
woman
as
a
man
is
just
weird,
you
can't
go
all
out,
you're
essentially
battling
with
one
hand
behind
your
back.
I
never
had
this
problem
with
a
male
sparing
partner.
No,
I'm
not
saying
women
there
are
weaker
than
men,
I'm
saying
it
feels
awkward
for
SOME
REASON
to
battle
girls.
Also,
please,
for
the
love
of
god,
stop
having
women
as
instructors.
Men
are
results-oriented
and
women
are
keeping-a-social-environment-smooth-oriented.
I'm
not
saying
that
either
one
is
better,
they're
both
valuable
in
their
own
rights.
It's
just
wrong
for
us
men.
Your
results
as
a
man
suffer
when
you
have
a
woman
as
a
boss.
Call
me
a
misogynist
for
all
I
care,
but
it's
the
truth.
Why
is
the
truth
misogynistic?
Huh?
Why
can't
we
just
accept
the
truth
for
what
it
is,
because
it
is
like
that?
Not
in
every
case,
certainly
not,
there
are
always
exceptions,
sure,
yeah.
But
for
the
most
part,
two
standard
deviations
from
the
norm...
It's
the
way
that
I'm
telling
you.
What
I
mean
is
that
the
female
instructors
don't
have
that
rough-edge
character
to
egg
you
on
in
your
endeavors,
which
is
perfectly
fine.
But
as
a
dude
training
there,
wanting
to
break
your
limits,
you're
going
to
feel
that
something
is
missing.
It's
not
an
issue
though
if
you're
an
easy-going
guy
or
a
woman
yourself.
Again,
never
had
this
sort
of
problem
when
the
male
instructors
were
teaching.
Also
during
the
exams,
it's
unbelievably
cramped.
I
have
no
clue
how
the
instructors,
who
are
acting
as
the
judges,
are
able
to
rate
all
those
people
so
quickly
and
accurately,
very
commendable.
Oddly
enough
though,
almost
everyone
passes
the
test.
And
if
you
don't,
you
can
repeat
your
failed
part
of
the
test
in
the
following
week
during
a
regular
training
session.
And
then
you're
guaranteed
to
succeed,
but
only
if
you
truly
WANT
to
succeed.
Which
is
a
little
suspicious,
because
it
seems
kinda
too
easy
to
climb
up
the
ranks,
but
whatever,
what
do
I
know
about
judging
in
Taekwondo.
Anyways,
everything
else
is
top
notch
and
super
awesome.
