It was no longer the train when we visit, it's a mini bus. We went for the 11am timing, but as they need a minimum of 6 pax to go, there was only 3 of us, we weren't able to take the tour at all. Disappointing.

It was a 40 mins ride in small train which takes you through the old city n you can hear the pre recorded information using the earphones in your chosen language.

Ich erhoffte mir von der Fahrt mehr über meine Stadt zu erfahren. Dies war jedoch nicht der Fall! Es wurde nur wenig über die Geschichte der Stadt Luzern erzählt und die Neustadt wurde bis auf die Pilatusstrasse mal ganz weggelassen. Wenigstens eine mündliche Verabschiedung auf Deutsch und Englisch gab es. Ich bin der Meinung das Citytrain die Stadt Luzern ganz schlecht presentiert. Sehr schade um unsere wunderschöne Stadt!
