We recently did a tour with this group to Glacier 3000 from Montreux. We booked months in advance but received an email the day before our tour starting the tour we booked was no longer offered on that day of the week. The offered either a different day or a different tour (although that was the only one they offered from Montreux, so we’d have to travel to Geneva to do something on the same day). We pushed out a day even though the weather was expected to be much worse. On arrival, the weather was so bad that none of the attractions at Glacier 3000 were open. We had paid for a premium tour but could take advantage of none of it. After requesting a partial refund to the basic tour package that didn’t include the extra activities (that weren’t available), we were denied. Overall, I’m super disappointed with their repeated failures to provide good service. Edit: I received this reply from Keytours on my review, “Good morning, as you mentioned, we wrote previously to you that the days had changed. So it wasn't like we just told you in the morning. Mountain tours are weather dependent and unfortunately we cannot control it.” I find it amazing (appalling?) that they see 24 hours of notice that a tour booked months in advance wasn’t actually available is reasonable. Perfect example of doubling down on taking zero responsibility and providing terrible service. I wish zero stars was an option.

I booked the road train around Geneva old town. I got there in time to be denied boarding and to be told to “come back later”. After the old man said this. He got in his cab, went off and nearly ran me over in the process.

Booked 2 tours and had excellent experience with them. Glacier 3000 tour with Tom was amazing. He was friendly and attentive.

Terrible customer service. If you are a tourist and have an issue it's impossible to join them. I couldn't find the meeting point. No one around could help me. I tried joining them through all their social media and email and got a late reply just saying we waited for you. Now it's been 5 days and still no answer to my email.

We did the day trip to Chamonix - Mont Blanc and to be honest, Key Tours didn't really offer much. We paid a premium for a guided tour but it's basically jumping on the bus and having the tour guide mumble whatever came to his head on the bus ride there, wasn't helpful in the slightest and it gave me a headache more than anything. I fail to see what Key Tours really brings to the table when we could have just arranged for a cheaper bus trip to Chamonix and paid for our cable car tickets separately. Chamonix and Mont Blanc are without a doubt worth a visit if you're staying in Geneva but perhaps look at an alternative way to get to Mont Blanc - there's heaps of other buses and a cheaper tour company (which was unfortunately booked out for us).

We just took the sightseeing tour of Geneva International. For 25ch (76.00$ Can) each it is close to a scam. The tour was supposed to last one hour. The explanations were not sinchronized with the building. Halfway, the went back to the parking and let us sit for 15 minutes. The second part was not interesting being that the bus went back and forth. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

My family of 4 took Key Tours with our guide Neil from Lausanne to Glacier 3000. And we had the best time ever! Neil picked us up in a wonderful panoramic van which was super beautiful, clean and spacious. We were guided to the cable cars at the Glacier and given instructions on how to spend the day there ( this is a must do if you are visiting Geneva or Lausanne!) After having the time of our lives on the alpine coaster, sledding and riding the chair lifts, we were guided to Montreux to spend some free time there after which we left back for Lausanne. Neil was super amazing and super efficient too! Thanks for having us Key Tours and thanks to you Neil!

We visited in May 2022 and we went with these guys to lake Annecy. Super easy to book. We arrived just before 9. Easy to spot the tour guides with their uniform (red body warmers I believe). The tour guide Gabriel was phenomenal. Super engaginging, funny and kind. He made the hour journey to and from lake annecy fly by. We had sña wonderful couple hours at lake Annecy. If you wanted to spend longer there you'd have to stay overnight.

Do not use this company. Two friends and I purchased "tickets" for $176 each for a trip from Geneva to Chamonix including a gondola ride up the mountain. When we arrived at the bus station, the station agent did not recognize the "ticket" and no one was there to meet us. We made our way to Chamonix on our own, and, once there, tried to use our ticket from Key Tours again at the gondola station. They would not accept it, so we had to purchase them again on our own ($68). We got home later that evening, we asked for refunds and the company refused saying it was our fault that we didn't find them. Don't be scammed: Bus tickets to Chamonix cost $20 and the gondola is $68. Better to do it yourself.

It happens that you book a trip on a wrong date. So I booked another one on the right date. I got in contact by email and in person and asked if it was possible to ask for a refund for the previous booking as it was intended for a different date and their response was affirmative only if I sent a message via TripAdvisor as the transaction was processed by TripAdvisor and not by KeyTours. I complied and sent them a message there. Now that I am following up on my refund, they are sending me disgraceful false accusations, in one email they alleged that I was on the tour, and in another email, they falsely accused me of forgetting my passport (I hold a "carte de légitimation" as I am a resident of Geneva, so it should not have been a problem). Apparently they have no records of their clients or whatsoever. They were trying to stall me when they asked me to contact TripAdvisor. Perhaps they thought I was a tourist who wouldn't be seen again. They could have been straight forward from the start that they were unable to provide a refund. Shame on you! I am circulating this message internally to all organizations and delegations.

We booked the basic chocolate/gruyere tour. It ended up becoming a private tour. Our guide, Neil, and his trainee could have a conversation with us rather than a lecture since it was just the two of us. It was amazing. You can't go wrong with chocolate and cheese but our guides were what made the day.

Please avoid using KeyTours! We paid a premium price for the Chamonix-Mont Blanc tour but the bus, arrangements and tour guide was awful. First, the bus. At around 12pm, we arrived back to Starbucks to meet Neil, our tour guide, only to find out that there was no bus taking us from Hotel Heliopic to Mer de Glace station. I understand that it was a short walk, but still, I was expecting an apology from the guide, who was ignorant and blamed it on the company. Strange because he is a service provider and a representative of the company, who should apologize on behalf of the company instead of putting the blame on them. There was a lady with walking difficulties in the group, and she had to go through the painful process of walking because they decided not to provide the bus, last minute without notice. The photo stop was also cancelled subsequently. At 5pm, when we returned to the pickup point to head back to Geneva, we were appalled to find that the bigger bus was replaced with a smaller one, a lot more uncomfortable, with a defective door where Neil had to held on to while the driver was driving. This is not an acceptable standard of service and safety for a CHf199-per-person day trip. As we departed from Mer de Glace to Hotel Heliopic, where some passengers were picked up, Neil went to get two cups of coffee from Starbucks for himself and the driver. Of course, in normal circumstances, there is nothing wrong purchasing a drink, but we were already behind schedule and his actions contributed to further delaying our journey back to Geneva, arriving back at 18.33pm instead of 18.30pm. It was highly disappointing that Neil was not caring, not friendly, and definitely not providing good service. He was only concerned about his own welfare and exempting himself from complains and liability. Information provided was very limited, he strongly recommend us to dine in the few cafes in the vicinity of the Mer de Glace station. We followed the itinerary closely and arrived back to the Mer de Glace at 4pm. We asked for information in the train station only to discover that there are so many more restaurants just 5 minutes walking distance away from the train station. We were not told about the main street in Chamonix, which was a shame because we only discovered it at 4.15pm and were not left with enough time as our pickup time was at 5pm. Neil shows no interests in his tour group members, let alone showing any passion in his job. As a service provider he barely smile, generally being cold to the tour members. Lastly, I also noticed that KeyTours do not, in general, reply or address complains, only thanking people who gave them good reviews. I do not gain any benefit from writing this review. I only hope that all travelers do not to use their service. Chamonix was incredible beautiful, however, there are other alternatives to visit this place, please take our strong advice to not use KeyTours.

Worst customer service I have ever seen. They were hiding at the Geneva bus station and impossible to distinguish from other buses. It took us several minutes to find them and yet we were still on time (but barely at that point). Then they wanted a worthless piece of paper (that they never checked) that I needed to fetch from the hotel room. Literally one minute away. The woman threatened to leave and was the most unfriendly and belligerent person I ever encountered while in Switzerland. We literally sprinted to the hotel and back to fetch the paper and by then the ticket agent had moved on and never even checked the so called voucher (which was just a receipt that I could tell she already had electronically). Unless you enjoy abuse, avoid this tour company. Note: I originally gave them one star based on the prior paragraph. However, our actual guides were very nice and did a good job. So I’m giving the guides 5 stars and averaging this to give an overall 3 star review. But the guide quality is, I believe, in spite of the company and their horrible personnel in the office.

They were rubbish. They were the operator for the Chamonix and Mont Blanc Guided Day Trip from Geneva. The itinerary was packed resulting you being rushed from spot to spot and spent majority of the time waiting in line for either the train or the cable car. Best of all is the glazier was closed but the guide didn't tell us until we got on top of the mountain after spending 40 mins waiting. Guide wasn't very informative and tour felt messy. When issues were encountered, our guide told us it wasn't he's responsibility. Location was beautiful but I wouldn't choose this company again. Bus driver was great though.

We did the Chamonix and Aiguille du Midi glacier tour. The cable car and glacier were fantastic. So much beauty to be seen at over 3500m. Our guide was Chris and he provided so much local knowledge, it was great. Samuel was our bus driver and he was also excellent. We ran into traffic on the way home and he still had us back earlier than expected. Highly recommend this company for your travels.

Tour to Chamonix and Mont Blanc all inclusive. Within 2 mins of departing local guide said all the included activities were cancelled due to weather. (I also confirmed this on the chair lift websites too since the company claimed there was no way for them to know even though their guide told us immediately) Instead of offering us a refund and the option to stay in the local city, we were instead dropped off in Chamonix for 6 hours of free time. (Hint you only need 1). The tour operator clearly just wanted to keep its fee instead of doing the right thing and allowing everyone the option to cancel. Instead they bait and switched the itinerary such that after all said and done all I got was a 1 hour bus ride from Geneva to Chamonix for 120$. (Hint this costs 20$ from Geneva bus station) They claim this was for the bus and the guide. The guide for the most part only read out the signs on the road (we are now crossing into France… , up there is a ski resort, wayyy up there is a glacier you can’t see…gee thanks) and the bus was used to return people back Geneva and so was not sitting ideal during our stay. 31 people paid over 3000$ for this… massive rip off. If the under 4 star review wasn’t enough to deter you to use this company please heed my warning. Again to the company; this is not about the weather. Doing things in bad weather is completely different than being able to do nothing due to bad weather. Not to mention changing the itinerary vs the agreed upon one at the time of payment is not an acceptable option. I was prepared for both rain and snow and extreme cold. Shame on you for how you treated your customers today. When I talked to the company to resolve this issue and compared it to an airline company who could not take me to my destination due to bad weather and therefore refunds me; their responsive was “we are not an airline company.” Again shame on you. What a terrible response to a company in the services business.

We visited chamonix and Mont Blanc, the trip, guide and bus driver where excellent from start to finish. We also visited Annecy, slight technical issue with the bus prior to us setting off. This caused a delay departing, but we still managed to explore the town and return later than planned. Tour guides, drivers and staff at the office where very helpful and friendly throughout.

We booked the Jungfraujoch no guide tour. The organisation, the activity, punctuality, it was all great, kudos on all that. But the driver Roger/Irvas(?) was a climate change denialist and KEPT talking about how it's all a sham for 2 HOURS even after we repeatedly showed no interest. He can have whatever political views he wants to have, but there might be a time and place to express them. Would have given it 0 stars if everything else hadn't been perfect.

Booked for a day trip for when I was visiting Geneva for a weekend, arrived at meeting point and the tour guide/driver was lovely, very friendly and made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. Very clear about what time we had to meet back at the bus and how long we had and even gave recommendations for lunch.

THE WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD. don't book with them they lie and don't take responsibility for their mistakes they are just money thieves. And they don't care about the customer experience. They will try to make you believe that they are different companies when in fact they are not. J'espère que vous parlez anglais car malgré que ce soit une boîte à genève certaines employées ne parlent même pas le français. UNE BLAGUE

I would post zero stars if I could. I booked a tour thru Orbitz for a tour to Mont Blanc and when we arrived to the office in the morning were told the tour was canceled and they could not refund. I went thru Orbitz and 8 months later after several request told that they will not refund do to there policy? How can a policy say NO Refund when They cancel? Should I open a company ,take people money then cancel and keep the money.

I was at office 20 minutes before my 10:00 am departure. The staff said wait for announcement. NEVER happened. People on other tours where confused for their departures as well. The free cancellation, sort of bogus as well. One needs to send an email to get your money back. I know Geneva has tons of tourists and many travel guide options. Keytours is on the bottom of the bottom. Save your money and time and book somewhere else

Liars and scammers. I booked the Chamonix and Mont Blanc Day Trip from Geneva, which included a guide, the cable car up L'Aiguillie du Midi, then a train ride to the ice caves. Booked and paid well in advance. On the bus the guide told us that the train and ice caves had been cancelled(the only thing the guide pretty much did for us!). I searched and found out that the train and ice caves are closed every year at that time! The refund offered was a slap in the face! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY! BOOK IT YOURSELF! SAVE A FORTUNE AND GET THE SAME RESULT!

Horrible service and they are selling LIES. The Gandola at Chamonix for both the Glacier and Mont Blanc have been closed for a month and a half due to maintenance and the tours are being sold as if they are operating. They say it is due to the weather when that is not true. Key Tours SA knows Gandolas are not operating and are still offering the full tour service. When you arrive to check in they’ll tell you it’s down for the day and if you want to use the credit towards the Glacier your and again that is also not functioning. Tour Guide Neils is very inadequate when providing information, was insulting and smokes marijuana while on the job. His persona gave off the smell of marijuana various times through out the “Tour”. Do not recommend this company whatsoever. Beware of the lies they sell. 12-18-19

⭐️ Do Not Recommend ⭐️ Would do 0 stars if possible. Scamming you of your money. We recently booked a day trip with this agency through our hotel, assuming it would be an enjoyable and smooth experience. It was the opposite. Disorganization: The tour guide was not prepared and did not know what tour he was on. Inefficiency: Passing out tickets to each passenger (~30 of us) took over an hour to do when it should have taken 10 minutes. Confusion: The guide provided instructions to meet at specific spots at certain times. Not only were these directions unclear, but the tour guide failed to show up at the designated spot, wasting our time and patience. Instead, the tour guide was spotted getting an ice cream cone. Lack of Guidance: If you're hoping for a tour that offers insightful information about your destination, look elsewhere. We were left to our own devices, with no valuable insights or assistance. Just buy your own transportation tickets and navigate your trip independently. This was, hands down, the worst travel experience I've encountered. Avoid the headache and steer clear of this agency.

Take this tour. You won’t regret it. I signed up for the tour from Zurich to Jungfraujoch, and it hands down exceeded all my expectations. Zed is a fantastic driver and guide, and it was one of the best days in Europe that I’ve had. The bus is new — it has been retrofitted to have huge windows, plus has windows on the ceiling! The seats were comfortable, tour was on time, bus was sparkling clean, and the size of the bus meant that the tour group was intimate. I originally had planned to do the route by myself, taking the train from Zurich to Interlaken (2hrs), and then figuring it out from there. But I quickly realized that getting to Jungfraujoch is actually really complicated (4x public transport changes), and all-in with the return train fare, getting the tour was actually comparable. Plus I got much more time to enjoy the magnificent Jungfraujoch! The scenery on the drive was really beautiful — luscious greenery, stunning mirror lakes, and the cutest cows with bells. Plus you get to hit Golden Hour on the drive back, so the sunsets are even more spectacular. It is an absolute must-do. I don’t even like doing tours, but this is one I’m definitely coming back again for.
