The public bathroom is a nightmare. Make sure to do your business before arriving or when having something to eat or drink around the area! In December, a Luna Park is assembled, and it is really nice! Check @a_swiss_life on Instagram for a video!

Saturday market in plainpalais is a great place to spend your Saturday mornings. Be there early enough to get the cool stuff. People are really friendly and explain their items in great details. You’ll find everything there from furniture to postcards.

A nice place to walk about and explore what each stall has to offer. A lot of stalls selling clothes, jewellery, books, CDs, paintings, and household objects

A good place outdoors to take a walk and pick up a few nice treats for the weekend. Always fresh fruit &veg! The bi-weekly second-hand market has become my favorite thing to do. Get in 1000+ steps and get a chance to find bargains and things to create...... It's getting back to the beautiful summer weather here in Geneva, great place to enjoy some sun and fresh air.

You can find absolutely anything here, from old memorabilia to vintage items, definitely worth checking out and best to go when you have something in mind to look for.

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to antiques at Plainpalais flea market. There are also clothes and shoes. The people are so friendly. Great to walk around stalls . Best carry cash - most stalls do not have swipe machines. By 2pm most start to take stalls down so best to go in morning.

Plainpalais market is located in a huge ground in Plainpalais. Tram Numbers 15, 12, 18 go there. One can visit here to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese direct from the farmers. Flea market is also there on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday(please check exact day and time from website of Geneva canton).

Lots to look at, even if you don’t buy anything, it’s a fun experience for people like me who look to thrift shop and look at things I don’t need.

The Flea Market / Marché aux Puces is the best regular market of this type in the Geneva area.

Great market with everything from food to clothes to second hand items. There are also stalls that serve meals from different parts of the world. A nice way to spend Sunday.

Huge selection but poor quality. If you like antiques and collectibles, this market will be disappointing for you.
