Brought my dog in for not eating, diahrea, dehydration and puking. After ultrasonic they recommended intestinal surgery with a reportedly high chance of success. Since he was fit for his age, I consented. Three days postoperatively he got worse and a second ultrasonic revealed fluid buildup in the abdominal cavity. A suture was leaking digestive fluids. I consented to them opening him up again, wash it all down with antiseptic and fix the leakage, again they where confident this was a course of action with a good chance of success. My dog died under anesthesia, probably too much for his heart (which was strong) in combination with septic shock. I paid 4600.- for this. 1. Surgeons giving optimistic asessments, should not have believed them. 2. Probably didnt check for leakage with saline solution/gas or dyes. 3. Didnt run septic biomarkers until day 3 after surgery, could have probaly cought the issue early, with much better outlook.

WORST vet ever witnessed. At the emergency room the vet could neither speak German nor English, and decided it was appropriate to pull a tiny dog by the ears to attempt to keep him still. You shouldn't become a vet if you cannot get around animals.

My husband and I went to the clinic with our 5-month old Golden Retriever because he had severe diarrhea and there was the possibility of a foreign body in his intestine. Dr. Stötter and the team were very professional, acted promptly and were very meticulous before ruling out any possibility. They made the dog's health and comfort their priority (to the point that our dog was very happy to see the vet the second time!) but they were also very sensitive and transparent when it came to the costs. They were available over the phone the following day when we had follow-up questions and even called us a few days later to see how the dog was doing. We highly appreciated their support!

I couldn‘t be happier with every member of the staff that helped my dog Lola to geht better. Everyone is very friendly, kind and competent. They didn‘t give up until they found what was wrong with my dog and in the meantime they were all very attentive with me. I couldn‘t be more happier!

I had to come to the veterinary clinic with my Samoyed as an emergency. From the very beginning I felt very well looked after and in good hands. The staff was friendly and the doctors highly professional. The breed has some special features, but my little treasure was helped perfectly. A special feature of the clinic is the Care Team, which always kept me informed during the necessary inpatient stay, and even sent me photos of Misha 🐕🐾 And in the end, even the amount of the bill was completely okay, I had expected much higher costs - I would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the clinic. They did a great job and I am grateful that the veterinary clinic is available to all pet owners 24 hours a day ♥️

They were absolute transparent with every step, kind and empathetic prior and after the operation. Today I called for an unrelated question and they looked up the rodent expert in Basel for me to allow me to get the most up-to-date information about a certain virus risk and it was for free. To me that I an expample of professionality and putting the animal wellfare first. Thank you!
