Not usually keen on writing negative reviews, but in this case would like to prevent this experience from happening to someone else. I have experienced the most patronizing and disrespectful attitude towards a patient from an MPA (although I came to see a doctor). Not sure what MPA stands for, but it does not stand for Compassion, Empathy, Knowledge or Competence. Shame.

The doctor and the receptionist are kind, but take care and ask about the price first, 220 CHF just for 5 minutes sore throat check. No where in the swiss cost so much, I asked them they said it is normal price but I asked other clinik it cost around 100 to 120.

I am on vacation and caught covid19, I went in as a walk in patient to this Awesome clinic not sure what to expect. From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in the right hands. We waited maybe seven minutes to see this amazing doctor. I saw Dr Manuela Lowo and I have to say, she was absolutely the best! I love that the front desk helped us with evert step, they were very kind and understanding we were sick and lost! The check in experience was excellent, they also took blood sample from finger stick and ran a five minute test that told Doctor Lowo I had pneumonia. She prescribed antibiotic and that was it. Simple and very easy, the way it should always be! Thank you baselmed, everyone there is awesome 👌

I visited BaselMed this week for a routine check-up, and was met with extreme kindness, professionalism, thoroughness and heart. Dr. Fischer, who was highly recommended to me by a colleague, took time to explain every step, every test and every result, and followed up one day later with even more detail to my results via email. I will definitely be going back, and can't recommend this extremely kind and competent woman highly enough.

I ended up here within five days of relocating to Basel. Quite the scary experience but the entire staff was very understanding and extremely knowledgeable. The care was better than any I have ever received in the US, the clinic is clean, modern and efficient and the billing was explained perfectly. If you have any unexpected medical needs while in Basel I highly recommend this clinic!

After a couple of bad experiences seeing other doctors in Basel, I asked around and Doctor Maric was recommended to me by a friend. When I first met with Doctor Maric at Baselmed, I knew I was in good hands. He is professional, empathetic, respectful and caring. I was always in good hands and had utmost trust when seeing him at the clinic. The treatment I received for various issues has improved my everyday life. I would highly recommend Baselmed and Doctor Maric if anyone is looking for excellent, high-quality healthcare.

Absolutely great! Lovely team and very conpetent doctor! Not to be confounded or compared with other institutions! Here you are not in a waiting queue and feel a real stranger! I can recommend it! If you need a cab- it can stop there. What I would like ? That they are open longer in the evening ( instead of the mornings) for the working folks! And to avoid a 4 hours waiting in some places! Highly recommend Dr. Maric and the BaselMed team. I had visited the office initially for walk-in urgent care last year. I was impressed with the knowledge, care and competency of doctors and staff that I eventually made this facility my primary care practice. Clinic is updated which I like. I often drop in without appointment but have also made planned follow-ups in advance. As an expat, I appreciate the ability to communicate and be understood in English but also that I never feel rushed even when the clinic is busy and the human-centered holistic approach to care. Thank you Dr. Maric and team!

It’s my first time writing a review, but I just truly want people to avoid this practice. Absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Julia Fischer. I honestly don’t understand how in Switzerland that provides such great education and has a lot of professionals in many different domains, people can be treated by such unprofessional, indifferent, incompetent “doctors” like her. And how did they even manage to have this honour to be called doctors in the first place….I cannot explain this. Julia Fischer is a person who absolutely doesn’t care about how the patient feels and finds it normal to disregard all health complaints and warnings. 6 month-long on-going fever that really affects the daily life of a patient and raises concerns and she doesn’t care AT ALL. You then ask her for a complete blood count - and she has absolutely no clue what that is and orders to get percentages of different cell types in your blood, not absolute numbers. This is ridiculous. You feel like she doesn’t take you seriously and wants to just charge you as much money as possible and get rid of you. Honestly, she and other doctors in this practice that people complain about here should be really ashamed of what they do in the their lives and how they treat people. Ideally cases like this should be reported to their bosses and they should be prevented from treating people as soon as possible. I hope they will one day read all these comments and try to improve a little if they still want to continue being called doctors.

After 2 weeks with breathing problems, I decided to come here since my family doctor was closed. I went without appointment and in 45min I was seen by Dr. Von Gossler, I did blood analysis and other relevant tests. Straight to the point, she diagnosed my problem, recommended a drug and I felt completely better after using it. Also, everyone in the clinic was very friendly. Based on this visit (the only one I did so far), I would recommend it.

I can't rate my experience at Baselmed highly enough! I visited Baselmed while on vacation from the US. I searched for an Urgent Care clinic and went based on the high ratings. The service was exceptional! The office could be a model for efficiency and cleanliness. Dr. Oliver was professional, empathetic, patient, and explained all my results in detail. Not only did I leave feeling confident I was in the right hands, he emailed me the next day with follow up results. This was on a Saturday!! I highly recommend!!

I have moved recently to Basel and visited Baselmed for the first time to perform a regular checkup. I must say that I was very fortunate I went to this center. The care and treatment I have received has improved my everyday life tremendously. My friends and family have noticed that as well. So to the team of Baselmed thank you for everything you have done and making me feel so much better.

Dr. Jirout is an absolute Godsend and phenomenon doctor who’s quick analytical thinking saved my life!!! She gets my highest recommendation possible and a million thank yous to her!!! She is very professional, smart, and genuinely cares about her patients! I feel like she does a very thorough job in checking your symptoms and thoughtful in her health recommendations! For example, I only had 24 hours to live when she sent me to the emergency room for an emergency kidney surgery but if she didn’t send me there I would have died, so she saved my life!!! I had pain while in her office and I couldn’t sit because of kidney issues she immediately got me a pain killer that worked instantaneously! She is now my GP and I won’t go to anyone else! When I’m sick I will come to see her 100% of the time! I think that you can without a doubt TRUST HER and SHE is the BEST of the BEST!!!
