So a zoo is always worth a visit. The cleanliness and friendly staff are to be praised. The signage is great, we saw everything and have been there 3 times. The restaurant is really nice with super delicious food and great dessert. Only parking is inconvenient but even this is not worth a deduction for me. My children were so happy because you rarely get that close to rare animals. So always happy.

We love the zoo. There is something for every age group. Also great for bad weather, as many animals also have covered areas where you can go in. Parking is available for a fee. It has two entrances where there are also toilets, there are catering facilities at both entrances and there is also a large restaurant with toilets in the zoo itself. In the restaurant they dont have proper children's food and no children drink. I bought a cup wich was 2fr it was the only cup not of glass and by the till I had to pay 2 fot the cupe an 3.30fr for the appeljuice in it. So for two children 10.60 fr ...this is way too much !!! Some cages are really small ..they should definitely do something about the one of the giraffe's.

It was a nice Zoo and animals were kept in their habitat. It was quite safe and must visit for familiy's specially to spend quality time

The oldest and largest zoo in Switzerland. But unfortunately that's also why it's the most overcrowded zoo in Switzerland. Especially during Corona times, I would like to see more entry restrictions. Then a train line runs through the zoo. I don't imagine it being nice for the animals either, even if they might get used to it. Too few information boards in my opinion. Otherwise a lot of green.

Bellissimo e grandissimo. Animali stupendi e rari, tenuti in ottime condizioni con molto spazio. Perfetta integrazione di edifici nascosti dalla vegetazione; ottima visibilità da ogni punto. Gradevole per grandi e bambini, dietro il centro città, raggiungibile con i mezzi, con ristorante perfettamente organizzato, bagni curati sparsi ovunque.

Zoo de Bâle un havre de paix au milieu d'une grande ville, pour y aller faire une promenade le mieux c'est les transports publics le train pour arriver à Bâle ensuite les trams ou bus. La voiture aussi mais le problème pas beaucoup de places de parking surtout le week-end. Pour les personnes à mobilité réduite l'accès est facile La visite vaut le détour.
