The lake and the nature around are really stunning!!!😍 But the main asphalt path from/to the lake is awful⚠️!!! It is super busy with others and not natural, and, if only you already did your main walk and going back from lake to the parking/ station, in that case it will be really good because you will be going all the time down from the hill⚠️👌. I would highly recommen to go to the lake via the path which is going through the forest. On your way you will be really enjoying the beautiful of the nature and seeing the diverse views 😍👍.

Such a beautiful place between the mountains. Surrounded with amazing views. The trek from wasserauen station was not that hard. Would totally recommend to visit this place. Maybe have a dip in the lake if the weather is nice.

Beautiful lake with magnificent landscape all around. Amazing views towards Säntis. Hiking around the lake takes 30 minutes. The lake is easy reachable - 2,5 km from the parking. It can get crowded

This was one of our favourite hikes. We visited for sunset, arrived as everyone else was on the way down, and had the entire lake to ourselves as the hotels were closed during our visit. I highly recommend staying for the sunset, wait until the wind dies down and you'll get the reflection off the glassy water.. Until one of the alpine ducks come swimming by.. Note that the hike is very very steep.

One of Switzerland's many unbelievably gorgeous places! In the Winter and early Spring months the Ebenalp lift might be closed. Let me just say, the hike is worth it.

Super nice hiking destination! Gondola to the restaurant and walk down. A bit steep tho moderate. Nice walk we enjoyed! Definitely coming back!

A beautiful hike. I recommend going early in the morning. Getting to the lake loop is moderately difficult. Either up from Wasserauen or down from Ebenalp.

Another must place to visit. It is so tranquil, a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and depending on the time of the year you might be lucky to see free moving cows grazing the grass around the lake and surrounding land. There are local little ‘cheese’ shops where you can buy locally produced cheese and milk. Honestly an awesome experience from start to finish. It does involve a hike. Not long at all, around an hour , however it is a very steep incline. Take it at your own pace and it will be such a reward to reach this beautiful lake and breath taking views of the mountains. There is also a restaurant where you can have a meal or a warm or cold drink. The staff were super friendly and the view from the restaurant deck was beautiful and so relaxing. You can also have a lovely picnic along the lake , make sure you take all your rubbish back with you to preserve the beauty of the surrounding nature. It is honestly a place I would recommend you visit as the photos will not do it justice.

Switzerland is a dream, no doubt. Hiking way up doesn't took so long. Quick hike and just a bit steep. Love this place. There is a restaurant and you can also make a quick shop at Seealpkäserei and get yourself one of the best cheeses you can have in the world and fresh milk too. 😅 Enjoy and appreciate the Nature. Leave no waste behind. ☺️ Note: If you plan to go on a weekend (especiallly Summer Season) be early, coz the parking lot quickly occupied. About the parking, you must have Internet connection to be able to pay, especiallly if you pay in Euro.

Stunning lake that you can reach either by a more difficult hike through the forest or by following the paved road (about one hour from the parking lot). You can circle the lake, swim, rent a boat or just enjoy a picnic. There are two huts nearby that serve great dishes and also offer accomodation.

One of the best places in Switzerland. Beautiful view, refreshing environment, soothing wind and that beatifully colored water. It's a place where you just wanna sit and forget about everything. Good hiking trail, not too difficult, but definitely will sweat you out. Could be a little hard for beginners. You gotta walk uphil to reach this lake, but the walk is totally worth it. If i could, i would go again and again.

Family friendly lake getaway for a day trip. Best to take the train, but there were license plates here parked from all over
