It always depends "why" you have to go to this location, yes it is one of the biggest kind of like Home Depo Store´s here in Swiss, but you will rarely meet an Employee there who really know´s what He or She is talking about... and that is maybe a result of their poor wages. It is kind of an " Open Secret " that Employees of such big Company´s get forced to write good Online Review´s, to raise the location´s overall score, so that visitors get the impression, oh, this must be good, ...look at their Ratings, ...that is of course before they entering the Store :) And yes, the competition like Jumbo or Do-it is not that much better, but it really seems that their Management take far more care in such topics like Employee knowledge, nobody know´s anything, but i can expect something if i have to go there right ? About their Prices... well the German boarder is very near by...like Waldshut there a 2 Big Stores, it is much cheaper to take an 2 Hour Drive, and buy some Tax Free Stuff there :)

Amazing place for every" duit your self" handyman. As well you will find decoration materials,all sorts of household and namebrand machine and tools (bosh,DeWal,Einhel, Hitachi....and much more). It's a very big store and always parking space available (paid). For the hungry mouth it is possible to have a little small "munch".

Our nearest DIY shop that stocks everything under the sun. One annoying thing about this place is the carpark charges a small fee and the machine doesn't take card. Upside down face.

even i donot like to give one star allso.take my advise all one us very important in 2022. I went paInt (malen) section to take ceiling spray.i ask there is an old man can you speck englisch or hochdeutsch he answer me noooo you are in switzerland you have to speck schweizer Deutsch if i am in london I will talk englisch. it is terrible for me to buy a product iknee to explain what i kneed for me I donot know the produkt name in german and one more he said to me the managed said to employees they have to speck in o the store schweizer Deutsch even the customer know the language or not it is totally Rasisam rasisam and terrible for me getting like this kind of experience whole employee s are rasisam

I bought two rolls of wallpaper, glue, bucket and a lot of other stuff to work with when you put the wallpapers on the wall. As i came home and did all the work i noticed that something isnt right whith the wallpaper. The "white" wallpaper had yellow parts that shouldt be there. So i made some photos and went to the store. Employes were very friendly and helpful. They found out that its a factory mistake and removed all wallpapers of that type. I then went to information desk to get my refund. They called the person in charge because she had to give approval of return. I waited 27 minutes for her. When she came she was not polite as other workers. She was complete opposite. When i said that i want also the money for glue and other things that i paid and are now destroyed because the wallpapers were made with defect, she was smiling to my face and asked me if i want also the money for the work hours. I find that kind of behavior totally irresponsible and not apropriate for the position that she works at. I dont know her name but this event happened on 27.09.2022 at 14:00.

huge Bauhaus with all the do it yourself items you need. If you're a plant lover, it's worth a look as well since there are many options to reasonable prices.

Staff are very attentive, competent and always willing to help. The selection is great and I am happy to be their customer. Now to the potential improvements that they could take: When buying furniture to set up at home, it’s a challenge. I needed a drill and the introductions were suboptimal and not very clear.

I bought a carpet here with a delivery option. The carpet is supposed to be delivered in 5 business days. The carpet costs ~200 CHF, the delivery is 160 CHF. You would think at this price the delivery would be smooth - but no. We have been waiting for 6 business days already, the carpet is not delivered yet, and nobody at Bauhaus picks up the phone. Terrible service, never buying here again!!! UPDATE: delivered after two weeks. The delivery company was "Planzer". For 160 CHF they delivered just to the door of the house, and I still had to carry the carpet to the third floor myself. I had to call Planzer myself again to arrange the delivery. They didn't bother to reach out to me.

huge! and i was surprised how good the service was (once i found someone). He even helped me carry my very heavy purchase to the car and load it in, as i was by myself.

Big hardware store with everything. Got a nice Christmas tree here as well as the decorations although they were quite pricey, especially the Christmas lights.

Staff are not friendly and helpful and I have been waiting over 20 mins in front of colour station, noone is here!

Really unfriendly employees, I went to 2 different people to ask something and they both ignored me at first until I insist, and there answer were not helpful at all. So I went to Jumbo to buy my stuff, the employees were much nicer, maybe they have better trainings. If you don’t like your job do something else

If I can't find it here, it's probably because I could be temporarily blind. Always solvable by actually asking a staff member. Never failed to get a quality answer from a friendly staff member. This place is a very good DIY and home-improvements shop.

It's a fine place for buying all kinds of tools, building materials, lighting, flowerpots, firewood, bicycle tyres, equipped kitchen and bathroom, sanitary installation, garden utilities and many other things. The staff is friendly. Also there is a fairly large parking lot outside and you can also rent a small truck, if you need to transport larger quantities.

Really liked it a bit expensive but its worth going to.

This is probably the best place to go for any hardware and DIY materials that you need. The people are super friendly and always helpful. Even the customer service team responds rapidly and resolves all issues. I lost my receipts and they were within a few hours able to locate the charges and send me the receipts in PDF. Switzerland is not normally know for good customer service but this place is great!

Anything you need for building etc. you will find it here. The staff is also very friendly and helps out a lot.
