I came in today to get my tragus pierced for the third time. I had issues with the lady who did it the first time as it was painful the whole time I had it pierced due to it being done incorrectly and i had a bump under it at all times. I was nervous to get it re-done but was desperate as its my favourite piercing. Krystal did an amazing job from the start and I straight away felt comfortable knowing that she had plenty of experience in what she was talking about and doing. It was a very quick process and I was kind of nervous but she calmed me down a lot and was just overall the best vibe you want from a piercer. It can be a daunting experience but she made me feel really secure and comfortable when she was communicating with me. I really recommend her to anyone who is looking at getting a piercing done. If in the future, I consider another piercing, I won’t think twice about going back to see her. My boyfriend who stayed with me and supervised the whole thing also mentioned her professionalism and the way she conversed with the both of us so we were in a secure and welcoming environment. THANK YOU KRYSTAL❤️ In terms of the piercing, it looks fabulous and the positioning was spot on, I initially wanted it a bit higher but she explained to me that the positioning she chose was best fit for healing and appearance and once it was pierced, I was super glad that her selected position was the best one possible. The total cost came to $64 and I feel like thats a very good price and I was just so happy with the whole experience. This woman is AMAZING ❤️

50cents for a small crinkly used paper bag is a rort after spending $100 on my fortnightly 250mL shampoo and condition. Castle Hill hairhouse gives these for free! Lower the cost to 10cents at least. Ridiculous price for a low-quality trash-worthy paper bag!!! The person offered a bag for 50cents and I said yes thinking it was going to be a nice new design. I was shocked when she pulled out the generic small black and white crinkled floppy paper bag🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I have recently got highlights, toner, treatment blow dry + cut and was taken care of cassie (forgive me for forgetting the other pretty girl that also did my hair). These young ladies are amazing ! it felt like the therapy that I needed lol I walked into my appointment like a lost puppy and walked out a new vibrant woman! the staff were the vibe and did absolutely great with my hair! They made me feel comfortable and so welcomed! They are professional with what they do and fun! the prices are great and worth it. Will definitely go back :)

Had my 2nd nose piercing done here lastnight, it was cool, he sold me on a 2 piece ring so the bottom part of the ring locks in the top bit from the inside of your nose. This morning as cleaning my nose the ring came out, I came back to get it fixed and the same piercer was here, My sister tells me his name is Scott tall ginger hair guy, I was a little panicked when telling him what happend however he seemed uninterested and off, also told me I'm the first person this has ever happend too in an aggressive manner as if that's relevant to me somehow. He rushed through searching for a new nose ring dropping products and tried to offer me the same ring, I said no I'll just take the one with a hook some how he wasn't happy with that either, he didn't even cleanse the nose area before changing it just pulled out a needle and shoved it through all over again so roughly too as a piercer in training was observing. I asked him how much was the new ring now in my nose because I know they are all different prices and he reckons to tell me he isn't going to charge me, why would you charge me? I'm almost certain that the hook nose rings are cheaper. For piece of mind I'd recommend you go to actual piercers atleast they show a little emapthy and manage to handle issues better. Such a shame never experienced this here before and I come here quite often. Not even an apology a simple "sorry that happened" would have gone along way.

Terrible customer service, went in there and showed the (who I wish I’d known prior to purchasing) incompetent lady that I needed a new peircing. Showed my old current one then bought the peircing then went to put it on once I got to the car, only to find out that the screw on part doesn’t match the one I’d shown her. Returned to the shop to the same lady and got told to come back later when the peircing staff come 3hrs later.. Came back to both the lady and the peircing man just to be told I have to purchase a new one and keep the one I can’t even fit, the man explained would you where another peircing somebody else has used and refused to exchange just to sell another one to me..mate had missed the point as to the incompetence on their end for selling me something I can’t use. Head office needs to hear about this. How can you have a staff member encourage and sell items when they know in themselves their are not competent to do so. Truly upset about the matter at hand, and I don’t advise anyone to go there if this is what service they will get.

As someone who has a very strong guilty conscience, this place is hard to visit. Let me explain, I visited here recently looking to take my hair up to collar bone length (my hair beforehand was a few inches longer than what i wanted) . I explained this very clearly to the new hairdresser (as she had explained she was new) and she started cutting. She was very busy talking and never asked me “Is this length okay?” or any similar questions. Throughout the haircut i noticed she wasn’t taking off as much length as i had liked but i assumed she would take off more length eventually. I had not questioned her as i would feel horrible asking her to start over again and cut off more hair. I ended up saying thankyou and leaving with pretty much the same hair i had when i came in except for some minimal face framing. She was a lovely hair dresser and didn’t do anything bad to my hair, i just wish she would’ve communicated with me and payed attention a little bit more to what i had asked. Im just very shy and feel horrible having to ask her to redo my hair.

Got my septum pierced around 3 days ago by the male piercer there, he said he was relatively new to that store. The whole experience took less than 15 minutes, i arrived without an appointment and was immediately brought into the piercing room. He was so kind while prepping and piercing me, made me feel comfortable in the space and created conversation. Not only that, but the piercing was spot on, minimal pain during and after the piercing and overall I'm very happy with the piercing. 100% recommend going here for a piercing!!

Came in couple days ago wanting to buy products to fix the recently disappointing colouring I had done at a different salon. Val was amazing, she was attentive, caring and knowledgeable. She gave recommendations to fix the very bright orange toned hair. She was also patient giving explanations to my Qs + why other products didn't work. My hair came out beautifully, exactly the result I wanted originally. Will be coming back here.

Scott is an amazing piercer, he is the one I trust to do any of mine or my daughters, she was so comfortable and happy with her ear piercings. He is amazing with dermals and I went to a few different stores to get my dermal jewellery changed and he was the only one who was able to do it. Thank you Scott!

I am a Repeat customer for products and piercings for the past 4 yrs. Definitely not piercings anymore. On Sunday I Allowed a trainee to pierce me, supervised, no discounts unlike skin candy who do for people training on you. Spent double the time for the piercing because of her training (happy to support her). Couldn’t wait to get out as needed to get home . On closer look when I got home the distance of one placement I wasn’t happy with. They weren’t prepared to fix it (as I signed off I was happy with the placement ) . Shame on you for not being loyal to your regular customers so took both of them out today - $150 down the drain . Thanks Scott. I definately won’t be back - you certainly don’t care about your repeat customers

I took my mum in for a third piercing and the staff treated us like we were just another annoying part of their day. The piercer, Scott, didn’t explain anything he did and was visibly annoyed when we politely asked to moved the placement of the piercing a couple of times, snapping his gloves and being quite sarcastic. We also asked the staff about the method of piercing and they offered little to no advice and seemed to be annoyed we were even asking whether the piercing would be with a gun or needle. Very poor service. Go somewhere else.

i bought a broken mermaid hair drying wand once week ago & i was told they would replace or refund me, i then drove 50km as i live out of area and waited for the store worker to film the faulty product and send to her manager. they didn’t have any stock to replace it so i asked for a refund as per their policy, she called her higher ups who said no to a refund and she refused to refund me, telling me to come back next week and they “might have it in stock”. avoid at all costs, i will be reporting them to the ACCC once i drive 50km back home :/

Chantelle was my hair dresser from start to finish she guided me in the process of my haircolour, highlights, style cut and treatment. I also asked questions about after care of my hair and she explained which products would suit me best. I did stay longer then expected but overall I was very happy with my experience thank you. 😊

Got my industrial, two 3rd lobes done and a helix! it all went perfectly well, with no issues, and Scott was super nice! ill be coming here more often if im thinking of getting a new piercing :3

Thank you so much to Krystal the piercer. I had got my tongue pierced at skin kandy and they pierced it so incorrectly and was telling me all false information. I went to hair house warehouse for a second opinion and found out my tongue was infected. Krystal was great help and was doing everything in her power to help me and give me advice on the piercing. 10/10 at hair house. I’ve had other piercings here and never had an issue. Definitely recommended!!

I had my daith piercing done by Krystal today. Can I just say that she is awesome! I’ve told her that I’ve been to several piercers but the way she guide me from the start, during the process and until the end really help me get through it. I felt comfortable with her cause the way she explain things you know already that she knows what she is doing unlike my experience before with other piercers, she gives advise for which is right and wrong before and after get pierced. I just meet here once but I think I’m coming back to get my piercing done with her again!! She is the best 💯

I recently had a less-than-pleasant experience with Hairhouse Blacktown. I had a scheduled appointment that I unfortunately had to miss due to unforeseen illness. Despite my efforts to communicate and explore alternative solutions, the salon's policy on refunds, coupled with a 20% deposit requirement, was strictly enforced, and no flexibility was offered. My initial interaction with the staff lacked empathy, and attempts to find common ground were unsuccessful. I understand policies are in place, but considering the unique circumstances surrounding my situation, a more understanding approach would have been appreciated. I reached out to Renee, who promptly responded but reiterated the policy without considering the specific circumstances. I then proposed alternative solutions, such as rescheduling or converting the payment into a store credit, but these were also declined. I believe businesses should demonstrate flexibility and understanding in unforeseen situations, especially when it comes to customer health. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. The 20% deposit requirement adds an additional layer of caution for potential customers to be aware of. I am disappointed with the lack of consideration for customers in unique situations and felt it important to share this aspect of the salon's policy. I hope sharing this experience brings attention to the need for more flexibility and understanding in customer service. I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback, and I hope this review contributes to a more customer-centric approach in the future.

Had highlights and a wash and blow dry done by Megan and Lilly. Lovely service and thrilled with the results. Megan was lovely and made me feel comfortable. Both girls were professional and attentive. Loved my final result. Will be back!
