Everything was so happy about the place. We got a table outside and the restaurant was full. The customer service from the happy waiters was amazing. The food the vibe everything was a class. I really loved my coffee. If you are up for American in the heart of Italy, this is the place for you. You won't regret it.

There was quite a line here when I arrived. Write your name and number down and they'll call you when ready. Really enjoyed most of the food here. I reckon every piece was what you'd imagine nothing too crazy. The tomato soup with the grilled cheese did stand out though. Very thick soup but very flavoursome. Not sure if I'd come back though and the prices are quite high for what you get. Parking can be difficult in the area but at least the wait wasn't too bad.

I’ve been looking forward to visit Happyfield for a long time and finally we got there for a catch up with friends. The staff are very friendly and the mocha was great. I like my eggs over easy with the yolk runny. Unfortunately our pancakes were flat not fluffy and the ‘over easy’ eggs were closer to over hard. The crispy bacon was nice. Don’t believe the hype … the food was average at best.

Get your Drippy on! Amazing venue with a great vibe. Would highly recommend anything on the menu (without even trying everything) however my favourite is The Happiest Meal. You gotta give this a solid shot. Especially if you like good things. That said, the staff were just as good! Super friendly and helpful. If you like happiness, you’ll like Happyfield!

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Coffee was solid, the McLovin muffin was insane but don’t even get me started on them damn pancakes. My Canadian boi in the back be cookin up real good. Service was great, people were friendly and really added to the atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back.

One of Sydney’s best cult cafes that’s worth every Instagram post. The food was so delicious that our entire table of chatty girlfriends went dead quiet the minute we got our meals because we were so busy enjoying them 😂! This place is all about the details and they don’t skimp on anything either. I highly recommend The Happiest Meal, which comes with authentic diner-style American pancakes. Thin, light and chewy topped with Pepe Saya cultured French butter. They use pure, top quality Canadian Maple syrup which is a pale golden colour that just adds to the butteriness without being too sweet. It’s served with homemade hash browns and the most addicting herby side sauce. Topped off with the best egg and bacon roll I have ever had. Happyfield is killing the cafe scene in Sydney and if you love American breakfasts you’ll be raving about it all the way back to the states 🇺🇸 ‼️MAKE SURE YOU BOOK ‼️Or else you can expect to join the massive queue outside 🅿️ - Competitive side-street parking. Arrive EARLY to find a spot. 🚊🚌 Public transport is limited. Closest train station is Ashfield where you can take a bus to Dalhousie st.

All I can say is WOW! everything was so amazing! Food was so good we couldn’t stop talking about it. I didn’t think I would ever say this but I actually wished I was hungover because this would be the perfect feast for that. My friends ordered a healthy breakfast and i ordered a happy breakfast and everything was incredible. Also I want to acknowledge Kate our beautiful waitress, She was such a vibe and her customer service was amazing!

Wow! Just an incredible breakfast. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Food: Immensely good. I had the Sweet Stack - soft, fluffy pancakes, perfectly done, with strawberries, chantilly, and some blood orange jam. The blood orange was a new touch that I quite liked and added a new dimension to the flavor. Quantity was just right as well - enough to be satisfying but not enough to encourage you to overeat. Also, the coffee was outstanding even by Sydney's very high standard of coffee. Bravo! Service: Fast, friendly, and (unsurprisingly) happy. Nothing negative to say here; our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space. Atmosphere: Energetic, upbeat, sunny. The way the place is oriented is perfect for breakfast, since it catches all the morning sunlight. If you're sitting outside you may find the adjacent street a bit noisy, but inside was very comfortable. The decor is kind of modern faux-rustic, which goes very well with the style and general vibe of the place. I felt a bit better just from being inside.

Wow. Great experience, great food, great coffee, great servers/staff! Everything was bang on good. We arrived just after opening and was curious as to why so many floor staff on a Thursday morning, then bang, place is absolutely packed! And for good reason!! The vibe here and decor is next level! Coffee was perfectly done, the food was outrageous, and the staff attitude and attentiveness was on par with everything else. The only small issue I had with the food was I would have loved some more folded egg on my muffin, I felt it was just missing that extra bit. Still, 5 stars easy. I really wish they would sell that Chipotle Mayo in a bottle, but bought a mad shirt instead!!

Thank god they now take reservation. I’d been there twice before and on both occasions the wait was like 1 hour so much friend and I ended up leaving. When we finally were able to secure a booking, the expectation was bit higher. But Happyfield did not disappoint. We ordered the sweet pancakes, happiest meal, McLovin’ muffin and the cornbread. We enjoyed everything except the cornbread. But that is because it has premixed chopped onions in it and I hate onions. I absolutely loved the sweet pancakes, so fluffy and delightful. Certainly will be back.

The name is perfect because when ever we come here I'm in my happy place. Food and service are always on point. The coffee is amazing in its own right I usually get the v60 pour over. My go to meal is the happiest meal ever with adding a side of bacon and that breakfast is perfection. Apple bacon pancakes with has browns and this awesome chicken egg muffin what more could you ask for. This would be my death row meal just saying.

Bright and fun brunch spot in the middle of Haberfield. Expect a wait for a table, as it's popular! Luckily we went mid week which was fine, but they have a limit of 1hr on tables. Enjoy an espresso coffee or a smoothie, and all the fun brunch items. Pancakes were a favourite! You can get a sweet stack (with strawberries and creme) or savoury (with eggs and bacon - topped with cinnamon sugar) and maple syrup. The egg sandwiches and eggs with sides were a popular option too.

Great food, great ambience, and great service! There is always a bit of a wait to get a table, so make sure you come a little earlier. The serving sizes are quite generous, so I like sharing dishes so I can try different things.

We live local and have been going to Happyfield for a while now for the excellent coffee and delicious well priced food. The ingredients are quality, and always have a good variety of options. You could smash a quick McLovin' or try one of the chef's takes on any number of cuisines. The place is getting busier, but the quality has stayed top notch, with a small wait for a table in the weekend, but food comes out efficiently. The staff are the best around, always with a smile and up for a chat. These guys are legends, and we won't stop coming back!

First time here on a Monday lunch and it was packed, that’s a good sign right? Food - pancake was perfection with nice syrup and of course the best Australian butter around! The mclovin and fish burger was good too and has brown was a standout. French fries was a little soggy with too much seasoning on it. Coffee was decent too! Value - happy meal was good but come on, $35 for 2 hash brown, 3stack pancake and a little sausage burger? Also weekends attract 10% extra and public holiday is 15%. Given all of these factors, I think it’s a little exy and not good value (factoring in the wait too)

Excellent as always. Had the happiest meal with birthday shake and special pasta of the week. Just so delicious! We never had a bad meal there. Expect a 20min wait as they're very popular but they do have great queuing system (they call you when the table is ready) so that seems to work well.
